Best doughnuts you will ever eat but I am disappointed with some of the new personnel. It used to be if you wanted something that was easy to make and they were out of it they would make it for you. I stopped in today and waited 15 minutes to be waited on because of the long line (which is no problem because their doughnuts are so good) and when I asked for a glazed with the cherry filling on top the lady said "we dont have any". That was it "we dont have any! This has happened a number of times now so Im looking for an alternate place but it will be hard to find doughnuts as good as theirs.

We went from Puyallup WA USA to Tacomas Freedom Fair and our local worship leaders band called 33AD, at Hamilton Park. Food trucks lined the walkway all ready for visitors. We got coffee with ice and 1 fourth of July donut each. Then I got a sticker and saved my bag for later. Truck was almost too high to reach my order. I used to drive in South Tacoma and Lakewood area and dont remember the building Ill have to come see where it is!

Great selection of doughnuts , this business has been around forever and ever and their doughnuts are wonderful. The staff is efficient and friendly and there is a drive-thru on both sides of the building. It is easy access from the main road and the prices are reasonable. They offer basic as well as fun choices. This is a great place to stop if you want a quick doughnut or if you want to take Donuts to a meeting or as a treat.

I have to say, of all the donut shops I have been to, this is the BEST!!! I like them lodas better than Krispy Kreme, they have more options and they arent a huge chain, so are more personable. I got donuts this morning (Feb 10, 2013) and they helped me to my car with them! (Had 4 boxes) They said they are trying to bring the scones back, so hoping they do that soon!!! Christine Parthree

I love this place. My family moved here in 2004 and we found this shop. My family moved and went overseas and were enough to get station back at JBLM and we went to see if this shop was still in business and to our delight the store was still open and improved! WE WERE SO AMAZED TO SEE THAT THEIR DOUGHNUTS WERE MUCH MUCH. BETTER THAN. WE REMEMBERED!!! Thanks

Ok, the donuts are out of the world for sure--and so are the scones...but you know what???? I havent been able to order a scone for over two months, TWO MONTHS!!! Everytime I visit, crossing my fingers they FINALLY got their replacement part....NOTHIN! NADA! NUNCA!!! Comon already! REPLACE THE PART AND LETS GO!!! (or get an new oven!)

I have been here a good three times, and i have never been dissatisfied. Every visit is a new donut i fall in love with. First came the bacon maple Then the Fruity cruelers And this most recent trip came to me with PB and Jelly...PB AND @#&$ DELICIOUS JELLY. Ima fat kid at heart, and man does this place satiate the dumplin in me.

Literally the best donuts Ive ever had. Everyone who goes needs to try just a raised glazed, they are huge, melt in your mouth, and an amazing value!!!! Also, the bacon maple bar is outstanding if you want something a little different:) Bottom Line, COME HERE. Like, tomorrow.

I heard great reviews for this place, but it didnt quite live up to expectations. The maple glaze long John was super sweet/greasy I couldnt finish it. My husband who normally loves those donuts couldnt finish it either. I heard thats the thing to get so it could just be us.

This place is ok. I grew up in the area and this was my favorite place for donuts. When it was sold they went fancy (to keep up with their competitors Im sure) and started putting way too much sugar on everything. But lots of people love this place, theres always a line.

Ive been going here since they reopened and everyone at work agrees they have the best donuts around. They usually have some type of special such as a free donut during football season if you have a Seahawks jersey, military discount, or a mail delivered coupon.

My family and I have been getting doughnuts from here for years now, the best doughnuts around hands down. But seems since they opened the other shop In Tacoma the quality has declined a little, Ive tried the new location as well....just not the same

This place probably makes the best glazed donuts Ive ever had. We also ordered donut holes which were also delicious. I had a Boston creme donut which was good but it didnt blow me away. If you go here, definitely try the regular glazed donuts.

Best donuts (doughnuts?) on the south end, which includes Portland. To all the one star reviews: I would love to throw a donut at your face just because youre so terribly wrong, but that would be a tragic waste of a most excellent donut.

I highly recommend House of Donuts to everyone. The staff is amazing. Donuts are outstanding and theyre pretty cheap. For a dozen of your own pick its 14 bucks with taxes. Theres is drive thru if you didnt want to get out and go inside.

This place is a Lakewood institution! Their donuts are always delicious and freshly made. The variety is ample and they even have a good assortment of beverages to wash it all down. Between 5-6 pm, all donuts are half priced!

A bit far from where I live but its always worth the drive whenever Im out in the area. Loved the donuts here, always fresh and honestly love their maple bacon bar and chocolate bavarian cream. Very affordable prices as well!

Small store front but the drive through makes up for it. The donuts are the best around, and the staff are polite, friendly and fast. This is a great place to get your donut fix. You gotta to try their maple bacon bars!

Went there for doughnuts and all you had was doughnuts with banana frosting, orange frosting and mapel bars. NOTHING else!! Talk about a total letdown. For a place that serves ONLY doughnuts that was seriously pathetic.

The doughnuts are always fresh and the staff professional and friendly. Best doughnuts in at least a 50 mile radius. Their only competition is the House Of Doughnuts in Tacoma, but the Original is still the best!

these donuts are great, much better then Paos on 6th....Tacoma really needs a better donut shop, I saw one going in down on 6th across from Gateway to India....maybe they will step it up like House of Donuts does :)

Absolutely, one of the TOP DONUT shops in the U.S. been all over the States, East /West coast ! Go by every chance I get, coming from Port Orchard to go to American Lake VA hospital. All DONUTS are Outstanding !
