The WORLDS BEST DONUTS! This restaurant also has a great variety of food made fresh at great prices with friendly no-nonsense service. Family owned restaurant serving for over 30 years is a gem of a place where the quality of the food has remained consistenly delicious! They serve breakfast all day. Theyre bacon is crispy and flavorful. They also serve sandwiches such as hogies, egg muffin sandwiches, spaghetti, pita, mash potatoes, seasonal dishes, and so much more! They offer a huge variety of drinks including coffee, cappuccino, sodas, milks, juices, and boba, too! The atmosphere is like stepping back into time with a diner feel and the many locals love going to this place so come early to beat the line, but if you have to wait in line its worth it! You can call on your order, too, but if you want to dine in you need to get there early to beat the crowd else wait until a table opens up. Its a family style restaurant and the have limited high chairs and booster seats to accommodate children, too. This restaurant is small but it packs a huge punch on variety of foods, drinks, and great value for one person to an entire family. It is a great happy place to enjoy a delicious meal and they even have free Wi-Fi for their customers! PAY ONLY BY CASH though because they dont take credit cards, but theres an ATM nearby. If youre in town or in the area, dont miss out from trying this place out because once you do, youll find yourself wanting to come back again and again, and again. They have free parking or park accross the street and just cross the road and get ready for a great meal. Its really that awesome! Just ask many people in person who go there and the type of crowd are so diverse from all ages and from all walks of life. They even have international customers who continue to return as a patron to eat their donuts because they really do have the Worlds BEST DONUTS and they offer a huge variety of that, too! Their French Cruller, Vanilla Angel, chocolate and plain yeast donuts are some of my favorites that they offer. Kids love the Donut Holes, too. They also offer huge orders on donuts for events! This place is awesome! Just AWESOME!!! But dont take my word for it, GO TRY IT FOR YOURSELF and youll see just what I mean! Its just that unique!

Great donuts. Cheap food, coffee, etc. This is a no frills real deal breakfast diner. Its the type of place you go and linger over two or three cups of coffee with company. Its not probably not the place you take your friends from out of town, but its the place you and your wife go once a week for a bit before you head into work. Delightfully self-confident in what it is, the donut shop isnt trying to impress you with their fancy new cuisine or art deco decor. You know when you come in week after week it will be the same friendly server filling your cup, the menu will be unchanged and no one will be bending over backwards to impress you. Its refreshing.

No frills and straight to the point, exactly what we need in this day and age! First time visit, had breakfast for two for under $15, which couldve been under $10 if I werent as hungry. hash browns done right (touch of burnt crisp) and service was unbelievably fast. Didnt get to try the donuts bc of the line out the door, most definitely guaranteeing a 2nd visit. Passed by here regularly and the line was their best advertisement! Incidentally, I recognized filipino being spoken by the staff and it brought me back to my family in NY. cheers!

Let me start off by saying this has the best value and tasting donuts around. It gets extremely crowded and you have to wait awhile. The location size is terrible and parking sucks. But hey, the foods good. They have bubble tea which is delicious. THeir breakfast food is not bad at a good value and their donuts are obviously the biggest attraction. In conclusion, if you want donuts and have a lot of time to wait, come here. if your in a rush you can still get a take out ourder. but that can take awhile

Ive been going to the donut shop for years now.. You cannot beat their prices, the yummy breakfast sandwiches or donuts. The ladies at the register are always polite and courteous.. even recalling what I order every week ( l go every Tuesday)... Be warned tho... They are one of the last cash only places out there. They do have an ATM machine on site but yea.. no cards. It is not an issue for me but might be for others. But yea I cannot imagine a week going g by without my doughnut shop fix!

I got used to the donuts of a certain huge national chain while living in Connecticut. Coming to Indy where there are still independent donut shops has been a revelation. The donuts here are some of the best Ive ever had and the prices are very good. They also serve typical diner breakfast and lunch fare, which is great for those of us for whom the sugar rush of a good donut can be a little much without some protein to moderate it.

I like this place. The food does NOT taste like chinese food (an earlier review) and the atmosphere like a rough around the edges diner of years gone past. Ive only eaten breakfast there and usually get the sausage and egg muffin for $1.99, then another $1 for a coffee. If youre not pretentious and like good old American fare for a great price, give it a try. And dont forget to take some "Butter Crunch" donuts with you.

Nothing but great things to say about The Donut Shop! Their cake donuts are some of the best, if not the best, that Ive ever had and their others arent far behind. The owners are great people and hard workers! Donuts are made fresh every morning, they have to be because they sell them all everyday. AND their prices are GREAT! Nothing worse than paying $3 for a donut thats not even close to as good.

Its your standard mom & pop style non franchise breakfast place with a good selection also of lunch and dinner (closes at 4pm open at 6 am) . They have a strong loyal crowd and really good decent priced donuts with a good sized selection. You really cant go wrong with this place. Its a hidden treasure for a budget.
