So my first time hearing about duck donuts was in Charlotte, NC. I heard how amazing they tasted and how they originated from a town called Duck in North Carolina. I even googled the damn town. Anyways my first time experiencing the place was here. I LOVE the whole concept about this place. Donuts made to order… Im from the North, We barely see Krispie Kreams where I live and Dunkin Donuts is the only other franchise around. After having one of ducks donuts I feel like I cant ever have Dunkins ever again

My wife and I found ourselves at Duck Donuts on National Donut Day to see what all the hype was all about. Two donuts each later, we can say the hype is worth it! Its a simple shop, but they make your donut right in front of you so its super warm when you enjoy it. I ordered the chocolate donut with sprinkles and it was amazing. My wife said it was the BEST donut shes every had. After two donuts, we were loaded with too much sugar and felt sick, but it was worth it!

I went to Duck Donuts the other day and was promptly greeted by the cashier Dominic. This was my first time and I had no idea what I was doing. He was very knowledgeable and helped me through my whole order. He was very professional and seemed to give all this customers the same genuine care he gave me. This level of customer service alone will make me return consistently for the excellent donuts and unparalleled service provided by this cashier.

I first had Duck Donuts on one of the anchor stores on the Outer Banks. When I heard that they were coming to Charlottesville, really close to me? I was worried for my waistline. Im happy to report that both the greatness of their donuts and my waistline have remained intact, though the latter is in no thanks to the former. If youre wondering what to get? Maple glaze with bacon. Its perfection.

Duck Donuts. Fresh donuts. Made to order as youre waiting. In my opinion, these are the new best donuts in cville, but I realize that may be controversial. I used to look forward to going down to the Outer Banks every year because of Duck Donuts, and now I have them right next door. My life may be complete.

Awesome donuts. First the donut was fresh made and then you get to make your own creation! I made mine with a Blueberry coating, topped with Vanilla and then a Hot Fudge drizzle. I was a bit worried it would work BUT it did and was excellent. So I call it The Todd! :-)

Wow! I heard about this place and stumbled onto it. Get a dozen each time. Amazing and flavorful donuts made fresh. Cant get any fresher than watching your own donuts being made in front of you. Get some coffee because you will want to eat it asap.

Tasty, hot, fresh doughnuts for breakfast are great and that is exactly what Duck Doughnuts provided. I had two doughnuts and could not finish them both as they were very sweet. There were some interesting flavors including French Toast.

Freaking amazing! maple bacon is to die for! if I could sit there and eat a million Donuts I would. They do need to do something about the Flies theyre quite annoying when Im trying to Chow Down on my awesome maple bacon donut!!!!

The donuts are fantastic. The manager on duty was absolutely acting and speaking inappropriately to the staff. Will not continue to support disrespectful behavior of this type. The staff making the donuts was fantastic.

THE best doughnut place...Made fresh right in front of you & made to order. The employees are welcoming & helpful when you try to make up your mind. They are very patient with young children, and converse with them as well.

The donuts are outstanding if you eat them immediately. If you bring them home the various glazes soak into the donuts and even make the stick to the box. You have to destroy the donuts to get them separated from the box.

They only serve cake donuts, so theres that. Can be crazy busy, but the line moves quickly and the maple bacon donuts are to die for.... totally worth the drive and the calories.
