Absolutely terrible service from the condescending holes. I had a mattress that needed to be returned to Amazon. I called the UPS store and told the woman that I needed to ship a mattress and asked if it was to large. She then asked for the dimensions, which I gave her. After giving her the dimensions, she told me that a truck would not be able to come to my house and pick it up, but if I brought it in, they would be able to ship it. A few days went by and I was getting ready to ship the mattress. I called one more time just to make sure before I bring it in if they would be able to ship it. Got the same answer. I package the mattress up and drive it in to the store. Before I unload the mattress out of my vehicle I walk into the store and tell them, I have a mattress to ship, it is very large. Is it ok to ship? They again tell me yes. i go out to may car (with no help from them I might add) and struggle to get this mattress out, just me and my wife. We bring the mattress in the store and at that point, they decide to tell me "thats to large, our truck wont take it, if you would have called in and told us the dimensions, we could have told you before you brought it!" I told the guy that I called twice before I came and again asked before I unloaded it. He then asks his associates if they received a call from me and of course all of them said that they dont remember! Then they say sorry we cant take it and again leave my wife and I to carry it back out to the car. I told them on the way out I was a little upset and they should offer better customer service and that I had asked them three times if it was to large. They just ignored me and went about their business. In case you run into "the bearded guy" good luck, he is a piece of $#!t

The kid at the counter failed to tell me there were multiple mailing options. I thought the UPS store was ONLY UPS, but apparently they have the mailman come over and pick up regular mail as well. I went in to mail some very sensitive legal papers and I believed I was having UPS deliver them, however the kid chose to mail my documents by USPS and now my documents are missing and the UPS store manager Gene says there is nothing he can do. Gene also spent most of the time on the phone with me telling me how wrong I was. He kept telling me that the kid DID tell me about the multiple mailing options because thats their process - However the kid did not ever mention anything about mailing options. Why would I pay the UPS store to send my mail out to the USPS when the post office is directly next door to the UPS store??? If I wanted USPS to deliver my documents I would have walked next door. The attitude of the guy on the phone ( Gene ) was anything less than professional or empathetic - apparently its my fault that I didnt know that they offered USPS service. When I called the store and spoke with Gene, It seemed as if I was talking to someone about something they truly couldnt care less about. So to add it up here - Im out $ 70 for the out of state Death certificates, $24.00 for the notary and mailing, This particular UPS Business - 1911 SW CAMPUS DR FEDERAL WAY, WA 98023 has very poor management and all local residents should be BEWARE and STAY AWAY from this UPS store

I wish you could give zero stars. The manager (Gene) at this location makes up rules as he sees fit and cannot back them up with UPS policy. I had a package delivered there so I could pick it up when I was back from being out of town. My email stated I needed to show government ID, so I showed up with multiple forms of government picture ID. They showed me my packages, and stated "these must be yours, they are addressed to your name, but under this sticker it shows a different address than the one on your ID" They made me drive home to grab a bill, and back to pick it up. They at no point could show me that confirming addresses was part of UPS policy, and I even had emails with tracking info, my IDs, and I was the one it was addressed to. Go to any other store, itll be worth not having your time wasted, rules made up, or the headache.

If you call 1-800-PICKUPS for a shipping quote, beware that the price quoted will more than likely not be the same at a UPS Store! Probably will be more! A lot more if you have a Special Need on your shipment! I had a package that needed a lot of insurance. 9k to be exact. I called 1-800-PICKUPS 2 days before shipping to get a quote. $81 was the quote. I shipped the package and was gouged $146! I questioned the staff about the big difference, and they assured me the price would be the same if I dropped it off at a regular UPS Service Center. As it HAD to go that day, I took their word. About an hour after I shipped the package, I called 1-800-PICKUPS, read the shipping details directly from just issued UPS Store receipt, and got the same $81 quote!

Staff is friendly just be aware that if you plan on using the computer there for printing something located on your Google Drive, One Drive, etc you will not be able to because the manager refuses to update the computers browser to support these cloud based drives.

I use this place for most of my packages and i have always had good service and prompt delivery no matter who was working. Not sure why people are rating them so low it is a package and delivery place.. they package and they deliver.

UPS is total junk. I avoid it like the plague. They charge you $5 to pick up UPS packages shipped to store. Therefore, I avoid UPS as much as I can. All I can say is Karma is a b$%&h
