Oh man... I am not one to leave negative reviews. I grew up in Edmonds and have shopped at Burlington for near a decade. The store has great deals, is spacious, and usually fun to shop in. However, there needs to be a serious change with the employees on staff. Last night around 8PM I went for a nice trip. There is one particular fitting room attendent who is quite... Intense. Granted Im sure the job is not a fun one, but this woman shoots death glares at anyone entering the rooms. Like I was either going to steal or leave a heap of shambled clothing for her to pick up. I do neither. That was uncomfortable enough, but the experience I had at the cash register was stomach turning. Waiting in an extremely short line is no big deal, until a customer shot past me right up to the register. I was in no mood to begin a confrontation, and the employee (and manager behind the counter) said nothing. When I got to the front, I gently informed the attendent that one pair of underwear (embarrassing enough to bring up) was mis-marked because it was missing 2 out of 3 pairs in the pack. I wanted the undies, but felt they were sorely over priced. The manager behind the counter stormed up brutely. He then proceeded to very condescending tell me that I was wrong. Mind you, the poor attendent and I were extremely uncomfortable. The man verbally repremanding me had done nothing the whole time I was in line but play with a hanger and glare. Im not even sure why he was there. Retail jobs are hard, I know, Ive worked them for years. But the behavior and treatment warranted a firing in any other company. I do not say these things lightly. Keeping your customers happy is the WHOLE POINT OF THE JOB. I ended up not wanting the undies anymore. My heart was racing and adrenaline surging but I bit my tongue. If all this wasnt bad enough, the register had some sort of error and I was forced to stand in misery for a simple transaction for over five minutes. The manager proceeded to "fix" the register by cursing at it under his breath. "Oh come on" he exclaimed bitterly. No apology. No nothing. People, shop somewhere else, at least night. Unless youre looking to be mildly traumatized where you spend your money and encounter some of the most difficult personalities in customer service retail.

So Ive been shopping here for the last 4 years. I usually love going here as they always had such great womens and kids shoes, kids and Jrs clothing. But my experience yesterday was very disappointing. I just wanted a pair of black shoes and their selection was very sparse and the shoes were out of style. The womens clothing and dresses were also out of style. They have cute accessories and some nice home stuff but its not worth the trip. Save yourself the trip and go a couple blocks north to TJMaxx.

Everything they get is directly from stores that recieve too big a stock of things, and cant fit it all in their storage room. Burlington Coat Factory is ultimately a place where you can get mall type items such as clothes and home stuff for much less than you would pay in a regular store. Dont get creeped out by the creaking above you, theres a cool anique mall upstairs!

Dark and dismal feel to the place. Lighting isnt the best. Smells old and moldy inside. The building should be torn down and a new one erected. The selection is on par with a thrift store (not a good thing because the stuff they sell here is new). Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. If you can make it to their location down south, do it, it is 1,000% better.

A good place to look for bargains if you have a sharp eye. Sometime you can find a diamond amidst the rough of shoot of the crap they have there. Good place if youre looking for deals and dont mind searching to find em. Check out the antique place right above Burlington, its an amazing place. Between the two you can really make a day of it.

I come in here every once in awhile. Woke i was checking out and i wanted to make a review about my cashier. Brenden was so friendly and polite. Very nice and helpful, he kept a smile on his face the whole time. Some times is the little things like that that being you back to a place and make you night. Thank you.

Great place for sneaker/clothes resellers - they have a great selection of Nike and/or Adidas shoes, for really cheap that you could resell for more money. Gotta have a sharp eye, because the place is kind of messy, at times, though.

Well, this store does not look like a real Burlington Coat Factory. It smells bad, like old clothes, which makes it a very bad experience. Bad smell + old selection = disappointment SIMPLE!

Meh cheap clothing and home goods at average bargain prices, they do carry some large sizes...service? Forget about it! Comparible to Ross, TJ Max, Home Goods, etc.

Slim pickings for Big and Tall I swear they only put out clothes once a week I couldnt find anything that was my size. Maybe at most 3xxl and smaller.

Okayish I went in July for the first time. Prices were cheaper than Marshalls but Marshalls has better clothes! Overall the experience was meh.

I just love this place. Sometimes U can buy Nikes and Adidas for just 30 bucks for pair of sneakers, but in real they can cost up to 150 bucks!
