The larger female manager with the short black hair and tattoos is extremely rude. Upon needing a piano moved she gave me the card to "get wagon" and didnt tell me anything about it. After making arrangements with this company to move the piano I didnt find out until after paying for them that they in fact DO NOT move pianos. I have also had a very negative experience with her at the registers and am almost positive that she removed the jewelry tag on a necklace I intended on purchasing (as you have to leave your selections behind the jewelry counter until check out) so that she could end up taking it home with her. She told me (rudely) that they couldnt sell it and walked away without making eye contact, leaving me with no options at all (customer service non exsistent with her), after I again asked to speak with her she was NOT happy to give me a courtesy amount on the necklace and ignored me as I thanked her. I have also overheard her yelling at the fitting room attendant who was an indian man at that time about how having that many go backs (on a busy saturday, which is unavoidable) was unacceptable and how she just could not have that. He had been working to the best of his ability, seemed uncomfortable by her treatment and she didnt seem to take any to put away.. whenever I go in there and see her I cringe. As a former employee of a goodwill myself I do not appreciate this womans management style and the treatment she bestows upon her employees (cant imagine how she treats employees with special needs or disabilities); and I believe she does not suit the companys vision of a manager.

I mean, I dont know a Goodwill I dislike, so it is easier to compare each to the other Goodwills in the immediate Metro Seattle area. This one is a decent size, about as big as the Goodwills in Bellevue and White Center with a smaller parking lot - a good portion of which is used for the donation process. And so, on high volume donation days it is actually possible to have to wait for a spot if you dont want to street park. Merchandise? Im a gonna give it to ya brief: clothing is better-than-average to excellent quantity, quality, and price than all of the stores in general with the exception of the "quantity" descriptor for which the Outlet or the Dearborn store get the edge. Tools & electronics/lighting are about average. Better in general than White Center, and the Udistrict, and about on par with the downtown and Bellevue stores; BUT! On weekends you are more likely to get "fresh off the truck" great items either due to the smaller back storage area or an astute staff - dont matter why - than the other stores. Oh yeah, furniture is a large section, and they have room for big stuff but never anything transcendent so you are almost always guaranteed one of each of the standards: dresser, kitchen table, chairs and whatnot but nothing has blown my mind yet. Thats pretty much all I have except for the one other thing this location has which none of the other stores have: a bathroom out in plain sight that you can just walk right into. Also a water fountain. I think they used to call those "public" facilities back in the day when there were a lot more of them.

I always enjoy coming to this store...over the years. Today was pretty frustating though. I saw signage out front, "Blue Tags $1.79". I realize that this concept usually occurs on Monday. I was impressed that Goodwill was extending this special through the holiday. Once inside, I had several books with blue tags, and I wanted to ensure that blue tags were indeed on sale. I asked a crew member on the floor putting out product. She looked around and noted a sign stating, "Blue tags $1.79". I proceeded to the checkout to get rung up. After everything was scanned, I reminded the cashier (who was excellent) about discount blue tags. She asked the manager/supervisor and was informed, "No, nothing could be done". I mentioned both the external and internal signage. Didnt matter. It should be noted that this is illegal. I realize that the store was busy, but this is what should have been done: My discount price be honored. Remove both the internal and external incorrect signage. Certainly NOT what occurred. I have never seen this occur.....ever. Very underwhelmed.

This is one of the bigger Goodwill stores, so the have a lot more stuff. If you live in Seattle and love audio equipment, this is the place for you. They always have TVs, monitors, stereo receivers and speakers. Like any Goodwill store, their prices are sometimes screaming steals, and sometimes are blatant rip-offs. Always make sure you know the value of what you are buying, or you might be paying 50 bucks for a pair of damaged speakers when you could come back a week later an get a perfectly good pair for 30 dollars that are bigger and better than the damaged ones. Learn to make their incompetent pricing department work in your favor. Also, remember that every Monday, all tags of a specific color are $1.75 regardless of the original listed price.

I dont understand why people come here, unless they are feeling extremely generous in giving money for free. I think there are better ways to give money to the charity. All the stuff they sell are old, dirty and recieved free and yet Goodwill in there good will to the patrons charge as if they are regular store. Everything is so over priced. You can buy new clothes at Sears, JC Penny for same amount at discount and clearance sales. I was curious enough to go and saw a pair of dumbbell 20lbs for $40, seriously even Walmart sells it for cheaper. These charity thrift stores these days are day light robbers ripping people who dont know. Usually people think unknowingly that its cheaper but no, crying out loud you guys are "THRIFY STORE"

They have some pretty good stuff, although certain articles of clothing and some used backpacks I saw were overpriced. $40 for a clearly used and dirty North face backpack? Way too much. I wish that this location was more organized than other locations, for example the Marysville goodwill is much more neatly organized. They claim that they fully test everything in the electronics section before they put stuff out for sale, but they clearly dont. Ive bought things like a Playstation 2 where a certain vital function did not work, or a game I bought was too scratched to work.

Store is clean and well organized. There selections are continuously rotating, so its like visiting a new store each week. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the lines at the checkout move quickly. This Goodwill is popular, there will be a line before opening even on an obscure Monday morning. Bathrooms are available on the south end of the store. Parking is limited and it might be easiest to park on the street at times. The drop of donation is always fast, easy and friendly. This is the best Goodwill store Ive ever been to.

To the reviewers that describe employees with whom theyve had a bad experiences by their ethnicity, that is not necessary. Stop it. This is a decent location. The selection for men looking to chill in something vogue is ehh. I have yet to find a Super rare item. No blow-your-mind echelon kind of stuff, so far. This is my #1 spot for soon-to-be-obsolete technology. And candleholders yo. Items stuff is goot. Its a crowded second-hand store, but thats the classic second hand experience, thanks be weve got it.
