I am a regular customer here, buying goods from the hot foods dept. almost everyday but Today I bought a pound of Mac and cheese and a drink and I kindly requested my own burritos which I purchased from another store to be heated but the lady in the hot foods dept said no, we have a microwave but thats for us only. Okay, thats fine Im ok with that, but she looked at my burritos and asked if I had a receipt. I said no I brought it with me, she looked at me weird and I recommended her to look at there surveillance. Anyways, really poor service and I will no longer ever come back to any of the safeways in WA or any at all!! I rather go to Fred Meyers, very good service they show towards their customers.

I am a Fred Meyer shopper I am not a big fan of Safeway because I think they reaping people off on how they are pricings their products. They like to clam that they have cheap or low prices. In my eyes I see lies. It sadness me to see people shopping there coming out with loads of stuff on there carts and get ridiculous overpriced fees. When you go to Fred Meyer it is not the same. You can get the same item that you can get at this Safeway or at any Safeway for a better price with good quality by going to Fred Meyer. My opinion..

It was quick and easy. Cashiers are kind and friendly. Only problem I had to get down on my knees to get the milk on sell. They need to push it forward more often . also was hard to find the chocolate milk it was on the bottom hard to see was also way up in the back had to get down on the floor again to reach in and grab it but Im sure if I would have seen an employee they would have gone back there and pushed it all forward unfortunately I did not see one around. But any time Ive asked for help Ive always gotten good help

Ive been shopping at this Des Moines Safeway for over 10 years. Although they are frequently out of stock on items I buy, I think thats due to the fact that they try to carry so much variety that there is limited shelfspace. The answer would be to stock more frequently. I honestly dont understand other negative postings about the employees at this store. I have never once had a bad experience. Maybe it has something to do with how you treat them? Rude questions can get rude answers. Just sayin.

This place sucks! It doesnt matter what time you go shopping guaranteed you will have to wait in line, they never have enough cashiers working......prices are too high, when they put something on sale it never come up with the sale price at the register, now there is a long line of people behind you and they have to do a price check...oh ya some cashiers are angry at life and others are straight up retarded, do yourself a favor and stab a fork in your eye rather than shop at this place.....

Very disrespectful cashiers. My husband stood up for a lady being miss treated by a man and the cashier actually REFUSED to finish helping us, because she sided with a rude man treating a woman customer hostility. Sadly this was not my first encounter with rude staff. When your lines are constantly long and you have customers that actually wait,the least this company could do is provided a friendly, professional and respectful staff! As for my family, we will shop at Fred Meyer.

Amber was very disrespectful, if you dont know something plz go ask your manager, if its possible in other Safeway location its possible every where, it doesnt matter you pay with one card or serval card the payment is payment. but dont say its not possible. Learn how talk to customers, dont argue. Safeway is my daily grocery store and because of your attitude I dont like to come to Safeway anymore. If I was your manager you would be fired by now.

I love that its so close to home but I stood at the deli today for five minutes and not one person even acknowledged me. My son used to work at a Safeway deli and apparently this wasnt news to him. He says that he and a few of his buddies were the only ones that actually cared about customer service. I saw that today and Im SUPER glad he doesnt work for Safeway anymore. There was nothing to learn there but poor customer service skills.

Ive been coming here for years and never even seen anything bad like some of you have talked about. In fact I dont think Ive ever seen a employee of any store treat people the way some of you have talked about. Its sad you come on here disrespecting this place knowing some people read these horrible reviews and decide to take their business elsewhere. Grow up people seriously. I love shopping here

Say it was my moms birthday we went to get a cake at Safeway when no one put flowers on the cake when asked for it they didnt want to discount it for messing up and on top of it its not their fault even though it says on the cake put more flowers even on the receipt I like to say that Ill never come back Ill just go to the one in Kent thats better

NOT SAFE!! THE SECURITY AND STAFF let all kinds of creeps in at night time. I complained about a man walking around the store with his HANDS IN HIS PANTS apparently holding his PENIS and THREATENED me just for looking at him. NOTHING was done and they said he is in there every night!!

Terrible service and the ladys that were at the deli were rude to me and seemed racist to the customers in front of me which is unacceptable. Service is horrible and the workers at the deli have no respect! But overall the cashiers are very friendly and there are good deals.

Us vet that doesnt appreciate having employees and customers following me to see if Im stealing . If your the wrong shade of color here the lines will all of a sudden move a lot slower and employee will insist on you checking yourself out no matter how much grocery u have.

Safe, clean, well stocked. Friendly. I enjoy the store. Side note: I had mentioned to a cashier that a price tag from the bakery had an error in the name. I was impressed that the error was fixed when I went back for the same thing at a later point of time.

This is the second time at this location i go to it at night and the pumps dont work. No signs, no phone number posted, no nothing. Third time at another location they didnt even have them turned on and only had day hours. I prefer safeway but this is pathetic.

Overall its fine. Bakery seems to be out of things regularly (brownies, Ive noticed). Chinese food is slightly iffy. Otherwise, its fine. Staff is very friendly. Cold deli and grab n go food is also fine. Store is also clean.

check your receipt. . cashiers talking to each other and dont know what theyre doing. I was charged twice for the same item couple times. next time I will call my credit card company to dispute that item on the charge .....
