I will never go back in this store again! I went with a receipt to return something. One of the mugs had broken. Also, the other cashier previously forgot the wrapping paper. So, I went in and told the cashier, with a long line behind me that I had the receipt. He asked me where the chip on the mug was and I showed him. Then he asked his manager if I could return it without just doing the return right there and yelled to his manager (real professional) and said, "This woman here wants to return a mug...etc." and his manager said "Tell her I am going to be a while." So I told him, all your manager has to do is come out and return the items to me and he said "He is counting money right now (that is a great thing to broadcast to unseemingly character sin line) and it is illegal if he stopped it to help you" (Therefore completely disregarding me as a customer! So I said to him, " I am the customer, I do not understand why you cannot just return it." Then a woman behind me said I was abusing him and I was like what? I pointed out that the customer service was lacking. Then she called me names and proceeded to verbally assault me while he allowed it to happen, smiling and telling the woman "Thank you." I askedf for the managers name and then she said she was going to talk to the manager and tell the manager about me. What was she going to say? That I was upset that I was being given 20 questions by the cashier for two items? It was none of her business. The woman looked like she was on drugs and these Jerry Springer type people looked like they wanted a fight. The thing was, this cashier got some sick satisfaction out of the whole thing and after humiliating and abusing me thoroughly said, "Okay, I will just give you the credit for the items." What? I could not believe that he could not do this in the first place. I am reporting them. I ran out very quicly b/c I am a strong woman who speaks up for myself and used to be a Retail manager. They just did not want to be called on the fact that they DO have horrible customer service. I told my husband about it afterwards and he told me NEVER to go back there. Dont worry, not only will I never go back there, but I will never support this establishment ever again.

Half ass! Was just about to jump on the highway from Wallingford in Seattle to head south to Burien so I could go to the Dollar Tree. There were a couple things that I needed that I just didnt want to wait for plus I had to get some gas @ the "cheaper" stations in Renton. I had a feeling its probably good idea to call and make sure that they are open so I got on the phone and I gave them a call. A lady answered the phone and I figured they must be open, why else would they b answering the phone? Employees are usually not too gung ho to answer phones as it is, let alone after hours. She informed me that they were not open and was very short with me stating that she didnt know any other stores that might be open till 10, but she knows there are ones open till 10(!), and that m guess is as good as hers! Even know shes an employee of the store, she knows nothing about the surrounding area or anything else about other stores! I had already looked on google maps and could only find locations are open till 9 p.m., except theirs. So I really needed some help and she was just unwilling to do that. So I said thank you and now I cant get my stuff. Not to whine like a little kid, but that was terrible customer service, very uninformative and a complete waste of my time!

I love this place!! Since partycity was taken out this place is the next best place to go. Yeah they might not have all the updated characters for parties... but its a DOLLAR STORE... the price is great for party items cause youre just going to throw them away anyways. Ive overbought items for a party and Ive never had a problem returning the items in original packages. They dont return they only exchange for another item. I love going here for almost all party items and youll save a bundle for whatever kind of party youre doing.

Like others I love this store, the selections are great. You can use your food stamps card for food or money. They have a good isle for dog and cat toys, food etc., they even have an isle for car supplies. I totally recommend it. However customer service is very low but I guess what does one expect in dollar store right? Is not like is Nordstrom or any store like that.

Great place for all kinds of things. Give it a shot. Obviously not the best quality stuff, for some items, but a lot of things are actually the same, or comparable to other retailers. Paper clips. Hair gel. Kool-aid freezer pops. Water balloons. Party favors. Hardware. Battery operated bubble machine <-- seriously!? Yes. For $1.

You dont even know what I had to do to make it here before closing. One pair of socks and thought that it was by grace of God I made it with 3 minutes to spare. Except they wouldnt let me in at 8:57 these people must really hate their jobs because theyre not very nice. Way better experience at other locations

Employees. Reading the other reviews I think that those are all employees or friends or family of employees. Seriously. Just recently they have been nicer cashiers. The people on the floor or the managers are still not friendly and put out when they have to help.

Very good store to shop at and good prices on food and pet stuff and very good staff people who work at the store and they are very helpful too, and my mom and I love the store grocery outlet we go there all the time the one in burien one on 152nd street!

Good selection, especially kitchen stuff like foil, sponges, pans and baggies. They also carry name brand kitchen utensils. Left one star off bc a lot of times theyre short-staffed and the parking lot is terrible. Be careful!

Smaller than a lot of Dollar Tree stores. Doesnt have the best selection, likely because its smaller. Still a good place to stop to pick up things you need for parties, decorations, etc.

The staff is always friendly and polite. They have almost anything u might need. Greeting cards galore and candy galore! Something for just about every Occasion and its just fun!

Always friendly service. But ask for a product in the back they tell u that theirs too many boxes on it come back the next day. You come back the next day same thing.
