I have Safeway experience in California to compare against this store, and I understand that not all stores are run the same, but even Walmart makes more effort than this place! Im sure the cashiers and customer service reps get tired of hearing "I forgot my Club Card," and it must be frustrating. However, my wasting gas to drive to your store to discover I dont have my card on me after all and cant get the discounts I was counting on is equally frustrating. When I went back today with the number to re-process the receipt to get charged for the proper amount, the CS rep was short and impatient with me- I guess my four-item receipt interrupted her much more important DVD counting and cataloging. First she scanned the receipt and said, "Nothing here is on sale." I explained to her that what I bought was on a Just4U coupon, not a normal card member discounted price. Her response was, "I dont understand," and there was also an "I cant help you," thrown in. When this has happened before, or even returning an item at Walmart that wont scan, cashiers will attempt to key in the number off the receipt to bring it up in the system. Perhaps this Safeway is different, as there is no scannable barcode at the bottom of the receipt, unlike Walmart or Fred Meyers, which makes returns 100% more difficult than they need to be. If there is a store policy against keying in item numbers/UPCs off a receipt, then the 1 star rating is for that unnecessary complication. If that is allowed and the CS rep chose not to waste her time keying in the items (Ive seen it done before and was also a cashier before, and is not time consuming at all), then the 1-star is for that. For the cost of my gas that returning home to pick up the items and return them so they can be scanned again just to create a new receipt/transaction so I can swipe my Club Card and finally get the price I was planning on. Oh, and theres not always someone at the service desk, this seems to be a common problem at Safeways everywhere. Ive had to wait at this location for nearly 10 minutes to be helped (Im normally very patient) to be processed, even after being promised that someone was on their way. Also for Safeways in general, I have had very little luck with their website showing up on my phone, an Android. This has also caused complications in the past when discounts I had loaded onto my card didnt show up when I purchased them and needed to prove on my account that I had those coupons loaded.

I have lived in the area most of my life and used to frequent this store on a regular basis however these days I ONLY go there if its at a time where its my only option...the last 3-4 times I have shopped there I stood in lines for at least 10+ minutes, just to buy a couple of items...their self check out is a joke, they rarely have them all open and never have any open later in the evening so you are forced to use their one check out they have open regardless of how many items you have. But before you even get in the store is when the real fun begins, dealing with their parking lot and random chaos. Their prices are much higher than Fred Meyer down the street so overall this Safeway has only one thing goin for it, its open until 1 a.m. but thats about it.

This is literally the most disgusting store I have ever been in. On 9/1/14 I stopped in for a few things, there was a King County Sheriff parked right by the front door which is nerve racking, once inside, heading to aisle 2 past the deli, there was feces, not sure if human or dog - its a grocery store with food so does it matter? all over the floor. People had waked in it, rolled their carts through it, it was so disgusting I almost threw up. I alerted a deli worker. Once in the check out line, I witnessed the most childish and unprofessional argument between 2 checkers - Meg and Cole. This store is always filthy outside with cigarette butts, spills and people begging. The management of this store needs to be fired. Next stop - health department.

It saddens me to say that this store in the last year especially has gone down hill. It is dirty, understaffed & the quality of employees has hit bottom as well. And the fact that the employees along w/the homeless smoke right outside the entrance door instead of out back or wherever is disgusting. I cant ever get help like I used to in a timely manner in the deli, there is never enough checkers & they are either too young and cant bag, too old and slow or just dont care and throw your groceries down the belt. AAAAHHHHHH what happened, ever since the buy out I feel... after yesterday 7/10/17 I am sad but I will no longer shop here. Even though its on my way home & so close, guess I will go further down the rode to Fred Meyer.... bye

This Safeway is one of the better grocery stores Ive been to (not counting Trader Joes... thats in a different league!). Really clean, and great produce. I have also purchased seafood from here and it was very fresh and delicious. The lady helping me was also very informative and even threw in some seasoning packets that would go well with the fish I ended up getting.

Get the Safeway app and use it, youll save a bunch at this overpriced, under-stocked store! Great people, just dont like food disappearing from shelves never to be reordered again. Pharmacy is great, very friendly and helpful staff. Overall tho, still a 3. Oh, and there are restrooms there, you just have to get someone to help you w the lock.

I love to go to the Safeway .but recently during the day it is hard to find a parking space. I have noticed many construction workers from across the street are parking in the parking lot, I assumed was for shoppers. some even have a 15 minute time limit. I hope someone brings to the attention of Safeway.

Love I guys, all the joy good can get out of a corporate grocer, but dear GOD! COULD YOU EVER EVEN ONCE HAVE THE BATHROOM CLEAN? I not only am trying to get something to eat, the majority of my entire diet comes outta here... Well, it did I suppose.. Maybe packing a lunch?

This Safeway is recently remodeled and very clean. Staff is very polite and helpful and the selection of foodstuff is great. I dont use the pharmacy because they were very trite with me the one time I went. Maybe they had a bad day so the store still gets a 4* star rating

Worst shopping experience I have ever had. I asked 3 employees for help Each said they would get someone. I never saw them again. The lot person was nice AFTER my cart locked up at the door for NO REASON and I darn near did a header over the cart. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
