I guess this place is good for crafters and a hobbist, but way over priced. I was looking at their fine art products ... golden paints, prisma pencils etc they are marked at more than 10% above retail. I dont know what craft stuff goes for retail, but i would assume if i found as much as i did over retail costs, youre better off supporting small local business and getting a better deal! I couldnt believe it. Their framing ... at 40% off prices (with coupon or in store sale) come out to at or above retail. I found this other little ma and pa fine art store on evergreen that is cheaper than this big box store. Besides the prices at Michaels, the people dont know what the heck they are talking about half the time. They just churn out employees.

I dont particularly like shopping at these stores because I have a hard time finding what I need ( I dont shop here often). I needed a specific type of clay and stamps, asked a staff person who was walking by and she happily showed me where to find the items. She came back about 5 minutes later to show me some more options that were in a different aisle! I would have been in this store for much longer had it not been for her assistance. I will come back again for sure!

Terrible store. In just the past 2 weeks I have bought 3 different items, all of which have been broken or missing pieces, and I dont realize it until I get home and open the packages/kits. I have bought numerous things over the years and the majority of them have been the same way. I am never going to go back to any Michaels, I only ever waste time, money, gas, and patience. This HORRIBLE store and their cheap quality, crap products, do not even give one star.

I really love this store. It always has something new, and theres a great selection of art supplies, but it was also such an awesome place to get a lot of the decorations for my wedding! Wedding decor seems so overpriced everywhere but with a little imagination this is the place to find so much of what you need. Store is very clean, staff was friendly and they gave me a coupon even though I didnt have the ad with me. Totally recommend it!

So this Michaels is fair, but hasnt been the best location. The staff isnt as energetic or friendly as other locations Ive been too. It was also a bit more expensive with less deals to be had. Still it is stocked with just about all your crafting needs. So depends on how much your willing to spend.

Great shop for decorations, craft supplies, frames, and more. If you want to try making soap or candles they have what you need. Fine art supplies? They have that too. Scrap booking, yes. Need something framed, they can do that. Large store with a large selection.

By far my favorite craft store. I can usually find what I want, and the staff is very friendly and helpful when suggesting new projects or products. Would give it 5 stars but they stopped sticking my favorite paint pens. Otherwise love this place!

Okay place to go if you need something immediately. Use the plentiful 50 percent off coupons to lessen the sticker shock. If you can wait a couple of days order it online elsewhere for a tiny fraction of the Michaels price.
