We should stopped by Michaeals a couple of hours ago seeking assistance with our frames. Between Goodwill, Monticello and other antique stores, weve built up a collection of frames without the glass insets and matting. Thinking I would have to spend a fortune to get all the glass inserts and matting custom cut, I wasnt really looking forward to the visit. To my astonishment, the glass and mats were surprisingly affordable due to the fact many of them were standard sizes. And the best part of the journey/experience was the gentleman who helped us. Jeff was his name and he was very insightful and helpful. He measured all the frames, wrote the dimensions down on masking tape and attached the tape to each frame, quoted us on the custom glass and matting pieces. All in all, we spent 30+ minutes with Jeff and he never got tired of our barrage of questions. Thanks again and we might be back in tomorrow for the frame sale.

First off, there is a store there, its over by the Home Depot and Toys-R-Us. Anyways, today I went in to get a few odds and ends, spent 45 minutes looking for them and came across several employees who were simply filling shelves or tying a shoe. Not a single one of them greeted me or asked if I needed any help. I even said something loud enough near a few of them (who were just chatting) to my brother who was with me, yet none of the employees offered any sort of help. After standing around for a few minutes, I decided my purchases where not all that important and just abandoned the basket. On another occasion nearly a year and a half ago, I bought a faulty umbrella from them, and when I went to exchange it, I got nothing but grief from the cashiers. I suggest avoiding this store as much as possible.

This store isnt any less depressing than it was 15 years ago, but you can build your own jewelry there, so thats kind of neat One star, because the stores path of egress winds around a ton of merchandise, and around all the check stands. They make it really awkward to walk out of the place empty handed, which is kind of unfortunate, because their merchandise is mostly junk, reminiscent of the kind of stuff you pull out from your miscellaneous drawer after 10 years.

Store is standard. The bathroom was so disgusting. A gas station bathroom is cleaner. Definitely needed a deep scrub. Their was a chart of what is supposed to be clean which obviously not done. Their were things peeling off the stall walls and streak marks on the walls.

The store itself was not bad, however, the pricing was completely off. I used a coupon that said 30% off everything, including sales and clearance. Apparently, this did not apply to the doorbuster deals. Some of the BOGO free deals did not apply properly, too.

There is not a micheals here, however, there a super cute little store called "Yesterday and Tomorrow" full of wall art, garden decorations, rare plants, and jewelry, you should check it out.

This Michaels is convenient enough and has the benefit of offering tax free shopping. Even on Saturday this location wasnt that busy.
