I noticed Gamestop is doing this new Apple trade in promotion today, so I look online at what I might get for my iphone finding that I could get $180. This already seems like a low price considering I had to pay full price for my phone, so I go in, thinking this is the price I would receive and that was not the case at ALL. The person who helped me decided to put in that my phone was damaged (it had one scratch on the corner, not on screen AT ALL) and gave me a cash price of $50.00 or tade in value of $100.00. When I asked him why the website said I would receive $180, he said my phone had to be in mint condition. Now I am a little mad at the situation considering they decided to put that my phone was so damaged, yet they are selling scratched iphones for $200.00+, so you are telling me you are going to make a $150 profit off my misfortunes? Needless to say, someone bought my phone for $250 on craigslist, DO NOT take your Apple products to gamestop, they are scammers just trying to make more money!

So just spent the last hour as follows: got to gamestop at 11:35 for the midnght release of max payne III and bought the game. Then preceded to wait in line until midnight for them to distribute the game. When were three people away from the front of the line we overhear the cashier say that they dont have any copies of MP III for PSIII !!!! Get to the front of the line to find out that someone screwed up and it didnt show up but theyll probably have it in the morning. So they refund our money and no other compensation or apology. Head over to Walmart and walk out two minutes later with a copy. Not going to gamestop again.

I dont usually do reviews but this is really deserving! I went in and was greeted by smiling faces. I purchased a warranty on Ipod nearly a year ago and it died on me :( Brian couldnt find any of the Ipod I had purchased within 100 miles. He pulled a couple strings and voila another Ipod on the way. I had to pay for shipping to the store due to my lack of physical address but that was nothing compared to what he had done for me! Thank You Brian and thank the staff for such a pleasant experience

The staff was super helpful and pointed out that they had a bundle with the system I was looking at brand new that was cheaper than buying the used model I was looking at! At check out corporate had raised the price that same day but the guys quickly adjusted it to what they had told me earlier. All I had to do was point out that it rang up higher and they fixed it without any further discussion!

Youre always greeted here. The place is small but when I went looking for an older game for PS2, they searched not online the store database but all local locales as well. Calling ahead may help w/ wait times, but if the store is packed you may be on hold. I like the ATTEMPTs to be helpful; nowadays, most people just dont care at all.

Normally this is a good place to get games from but they are very disorganized and they try to scam you with the prices of games. You have to be careful here.
