Fred Meyer management must be laughing themselves silly over this mornings annual fuchsia & geranium sale. Carts rolling all over the parking lot IF a second person wasnt available to hold on to the shopping cart while the first person selected their plants. WHY would a store KNOWING THIS WAS A PROBLEM, continue to hold this annual event in the same area of the parking lot? Only this year, another not too well thought out plan. Coming in from the Kennedy High School side and parking to the north, - when backing out and heading south, there was NO PLACE TO TURN ! All rows were blocked by carts. Unbelievable!! Kroger - TOO BIG TO FAIL. ...never again.

The store recently went through a remodel and is very beautiful. I recently moved to the area and after shopping at the Ballard Fred Meyer for four years the only thing missing at this Fred Meyers is the Murrays cheese counter. The staff are super friendly - in fact overly so. I am asked at least 3 times a visit if I am finding everything. The one time I did need some help, they were awesome, and directed me to what I needed. Prices are the same as the Ballard store which is nice. Love the gas station in the parking lot, as I can now use my fuel points up. Please bring in the Murrays cheese counter! Miss the olive bar.

This is where I shop, get gas and get a coffee drink when I go out with my toddler son If you are in a hurry, grab your stuff and go through the self check out. If you have time to enjoy your shopping experience, then do so! I do not like to drive all the way to the mall so I appreciate that Fred Meyer has a giant home and bath selection. And the clearance items are always fun to look through if you need an extra blanket or ? Back to school is our next trip to the store so Ill be using my new Fred Meyer app to look through coupons and get my 2 for 1 bargains that I love so much.

Grocery checkout lines are the shortest in Burien. Always lots of registers open and lots of staff on hand. Fantastic produce prices, but the meat section is more expensive than most. Lots of fantastic and reasonably priced ready-to-cook dinner options at the butcher counter (stuffed chicken breasts, etc.) Very complete housewares, apparel, and sporting goods sections. A little more expensive than Wal*Mart, but the store is much cleaner and better kept. Parking in the front lot fills up fast, but theres always lots of spaces around the sides of the building.

Actually insulted the Lame people they have doing security? So I just spent 300$ on a brand new schwiny and the dumb ass security 1/2 retarded speach impaired mofo hes trying to steal a sit cover stop him they are 50$. I thought that the seat cover actually came with bike because it said schwin? But what ever take your stupid no good seat cover and shove it. Im also thinking of just returning the bike and just going and giving your competitor the paper well not happy maybe buying the bike some where else will make me happy not sure though will wait and see

This is your standard Fred Meyer store, theyve got cheap furniture, cheap groceries, and decent electronics. On the note of electronics, their electronics department have a large, and I mean large, collection of old collectors edition video games, consoles, and everything. Dont overlook Fred Meyer as a place to pick up your Limited Edition collectors copy of whatever game it is. And if you feel like youve missed out dont give up. These guys still have collectors copies from games that released 2 years ago.

Most of the time, the service in all departments are great and most employees make the effort to make sure youre satisfied. The employees in the kids play place hardly smile and the vibe there, even when passing by is never good. One particular cashier, I dislike because her vibe and customer service is also never pleasant. The store has a great selection of food, beverages and groceries. For me, its better to wait for the sale on clothes, like when the sale is at 60% or more.

Not very happy with Fred Meyer today. Bought some baby clothes and the sign said $4.99. One rang up at $4.99 but the others didnt so I went to customer service where I was told one wasnt part of the sale. Later found out the person riding with me was told the same thing but the customer service person adjusted all of hers so they were $4.99 each saving her @ $3.50 each. Mine would have only saved me $1 but the person I went to wouldnt adjust it.

We are not happy with your apparel dept. , you put coupons on top of a clothes display hanging there that says take 25 percent off. Its very misleading and dishonest to us. The cashier said the coupon is no good for that item and we need to read the fine print , you shouldnt put coupons hanging on top of displays if your not going to honor them. We have been loyal customers and we are dissatisfied.

Nice, local store. Great selection and friendly employees. Product is usually in stock, and while it aint a Walmart, the prices are still reasonable. I like it more than Target. Check Google for peak activity times before coming here, because when it gets busy it gets BUSY. Youre always going to find parking here 100% of the time guaranteed unless its Xmas shopping season or something.

I called the first time to just ask a simple question, when i finally got to the guy he asked me to hold.. 5 mins later, I HUNG UP!! I called back and accidentally got to the jewlery dept. I asked her to transfer me.. THEY CANT TRANFER PHONE CALLS!!! SO I called back AGAIN!! And the guy was a total smart butt... knowledgable but is the smartness and calling 3 times worht it?

Pharmacy told me no refills when there were, wouldnt accept drug prescription card at 8am but different person did at 4 pm at SAME PHARMACY. Pharmacist didnt hardly speak English and when I asked where they had transferred my prescription (without my permission, I might add) she told me "I dont remember". Id give this place negative stars if that were an option. Bleh.

Simple Fred Meyer chain store, but this one seems to be understaffed in some regards. I see a generous amount of people managing the front check out areas but maybe only a small amount of people actually around to help me locate items. Even when I did find someone they always seem to lack knowledge of where any items are located (they couldnt help me find pot stickers?)

Im so glad Fred Meyer is here in our community . . . great place to shop . . . generally good values . . . purchases get us discounts on the gas on site . . . good quality produce . . . great selection of everything one would need from a trip to the store, and open fairly late as well. Im thankful for this place. Never a bad experience in the last three years!!!

As a Kroger Shopper from Texas I was able to come to the store and use my membership card. But the Fantastic part was the pharmacy. My wife left her prescription at home and I was able to call into this store and refill the prescription there thousands of miles from home. This store went beyond the customer service expectations. Thank you Seattle Fred Meyer.
