I would give them more stars if possible, Yesterday I had a terrible situation where a car I had just bought in the safeway parking lot wouldnt start right after the sellers had left. A safeway employee who had just gotten off his shift came over without hesitation and spent easily 20 minutes trying to help me get it started. Unfortunitely we couldnt get it started, so I had to leave the car their. The next day I was fretting that my car would get towed, so I called customer service and they where delighted to tell me "We dont tow!" I never thought I would be compelled to write a review about a safeway, but there you have it. This is the best store in the camas/washougal area.

Had another poor experience today at the deli, as usual they were understaffed at lunch time. Ordered one of their special deal sandwiches, Ultimo BBQ chicken I think. After the gentleman walked around for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to make it, he started making the wrong sandwich. He then said they were out of cheddar. I let him know I wanted the chicken and he didnt realize there were 2 different options on their special card. I then let him know I would go to Subway and left. I really enjoy the sandwiches but dont have the time or energy to walk staff through every step of making them.

This place is always clean and the staff is awesome. It is missing a fifth star because of two things. The first is that their bakery has changed bakers and the dinner rolls they make are not even baked all the way through along with other stuff they make as well. The second is that it seems that we tend to purchase on a regular basis, along with other folks too, end up not being at the store. They either stopped carrying it or they are simply are out of stock. Can you say half gallon of half & half???? Regardless, this store is a great place to shop!

Terrible-terrible customer service - I bought a chicken right before 5 pm today, but the time on it was 1:25 pm. I took it home and started to slice it for dinner. When biting into the chicken, noticed it was so dry and stringy. I called Safeway and spoke to Donald, who said he had just put chickens in but they wouldnt be ready for 1-1/2 hours (7:30 pm). WHY would Safeway put chickens out 3-1/2 hours before people get off work. So, dont be like me and put your trust in the fact they would make it right. Not so - Im stuck with a dried out chicken.

The deli used to be a good value, but I think they are tight on money or something because their portions are TINY compared to any of the other locations. I got my lunch from this place every day, but I dont think Ill be going to this location anymore, sadly.

Very small with awkward parking lot and check out area. Nicely updated, fresh produce, nice employees, tidy store. Okay to stop by for specific item if Im in town but Id never be able do a full shopping trip here due to the size and awkward layout.

Worst store for checking out! It reads "3s a crowd" and yet there are 7 people in each of the two checkstands....wish this was isolated but its every time. Also its an old store that could use a big cleaning and updating.

They have limited options especially in comparison to the Safeway in Washougal, or Fred Meyer. Prices are also higher and produce is often not the freshest. It is the most convenient grocery for us.

I had forgotten to take my cat litter off the checkstand when I left on last Monday. Tonight I went back and told them what happened and they gave me the cat litter I purchased without any hassle.

Overpriced and out of stock on essential items. Sometimes they just decide not to make certain types of warm food in deli. They arent out, or busy, just didnt make it. Odd.

Its a Safeway! If you live in Camas its the best place for a quick grocery. If you look for an upscale grocery store (or an upscale Safeway) look for something else.
