This store offers a large variety of items: household items, clothing, electronics, books, bric-a-brac and furniture. They have a large inventory of clothing for both genders and all ages. Clothing is organized by color, not size! Clothing is also priced by label or brand. Furniture can be found, but moves very quickly! The Downside: Books are not organized at all; children accompanying their parents are allowed to run rampant in the store; housewares consists of donated goods and yard sale leftovers that are overpriced; on week-ends and holidays check-out lines can be long, so bring your patience! Also, know your prices; I have come across dollar store merchandise priced at more than $1.00 The dressing rooms are okay (at least there are doors), but not very clean. There are no hooks or rails to hang clothes on, which only encourages customers to leave piles on the floor & seat. Also, the restroom (Smoketown Rd. site) is pretty nasty!

This store is undergoing remodeling so a little messy at the moment. Cant wait to see the finished results! The dressing rooms have been completely redone (not even the same rooms) and there is an attendant now staffed there to help. New bathrooms, also much cleaner. The things you will find will amaze you. On my first visit I found a $165.00 LeCruset grill pan for $6.00, brand new Lands End $140.00 blue suede walking boots for $4.00! Plus on certain days, certain colored tags are 1/2 off. New registers are allowing for easier and quicker checkout. I have gone through massive weight loss so, getting clothes here has saved me tons on money during my transformation!! Donations-you can specify what organizations you want the profits to go too. Definitely worth the visit!

PROS: *Fun to shop at *EXTREMELY well organized *HUGE selection *SALES on Sundays and Mondays *They take credit cards *Convenient parking *Plenty of shopping carts *Lots of friendly staff *They have 4 dressing rooms *Bathrooms available CONS *Some items are overpriced (So dont buy them until they go on sale!) *Its a thift store (Yes, the items have been used - shocker!) *They dont take returns (So, check your items carefully before checking out) Seriously, people! As far as thrift stores go, this one is pretty great. Dont buy the stuff thats overpriced...theres a ton of stuff that isnt! Anyway, I would rather pay a little more for a clean, well organized store, staffed with friendly people. Trust me, it makes a very big difference! This one is worth it.

The Purple Heart truck that was supposed to be in this location sent me to behind the bank, all around this location.. no truck... then i call them and they said the guy was not answering his phone.. so they call me back and state he was sitting in front of the papa johns.. no truck, no person sitting there to help.. so they call me back and ASSURE ME that he was sitting behind 2nd avenue store.. which is the VILLAGE THRIFT Store and TRUST ME... I went behind there too... NO TRUCK, NO TRAILER, NO PERSON.... so when they finally got him, they (the purple heart) give me a huge run around about where the truck is... well as I drive around still searching this truck guy is LYING to his boss... he is NOT there!

This is the filthiest, dirtiest thrift store Ive been to. Whenever I go I leave the store coughing and wheezing. The dressing rooms look like they are never cared for. I used to frequent this place a lot and really enjoyed it, what happened? I remember coming back twice in a month and saw the same trash and stains of who knows what on the floors and walls. Disgusting. Dont go here, its often overpriced anyways. Theres another thrift store down the same road that is more organized and much cleaner!

Pretty decent thrift store. Pretty good deals when they arent causing a mass evacuation of the shopping center for inside gas leaks and hazmat spills. This was during renovations which they didnt even have proper licenses for. You do have to take a good look at the clothes as a lot of them are stained and/or ripped. Oh and there are peep holes in the dressing rooms should you want to be a voyeur. I have had better luck at Savers.

I love The Village and it seems like Im always ducking in at least once every two-three weeks. The prices are very reasonable and they have a bit of everything (clothes, shoes, books, bedding, bags, toys, kitchenware, electronics...etc). I very seldom leave empty handed.

As far as a thrift shop goes, this one IS very wel organized and clean. You wont find huge piles of clothing on the floor here like at most stores of this kind. Huge selection of clothing, fair pricing. I go there mostly for clothing and always find something I like.

I go here often because I often find modern kids clothes that are higher end. Most items are overpriced. But that is probably why im able to find good things. With the addition of dressing rooms, and now better organization, I choose coming here over other stores.

My daughters love to shop here because they say the selection is great. Im not impressed. It looks and smells like a thrift store. Clientele usually have entire families shopping and let their kids run around. Read between the lines.

Nice place, somethings worth to buy while other not so good to buy. The only thing that bothers me is when you pay cash and they ask if you have a smaller bill. Like what they expect for people to pay with smaller bills.

It can be a little high at times, but it gets some very random merchandise, and that always makes for the best kind of thrift store.
