Very nice things here you would not find at other Goodwills. Staff is usually nice. Some prices are high but some items are reasonably high due to the value. I love going to the book section and housewares. I tend to find beautiful plates and glasses. They have very nice clothes too, especially the dresses. The clothes prices, unless boutique are a standard price for all Goodwills in the region. If you have a problem with a price, just ask nicely. Ive seen customers complain too loud or try and argue. I heard this one guy go off to his friend in front of an associate about the price of a Wii that was $40. I bought it instead. Customers who rip up items that tapped up or steal, or even break items and hide them are shoppers that turn me off. I rather shop in the morning during the week because the customers dont suck as much. Ire commend others to do that to. Its also more relaxing and quiet. Ive worked at a goodwill region before in Arizona. It can be tough having goals to be met and having money taken out of the sales you make towards building utilities and such. Many customers are ignorant about how it works. You have no idea how hard it is to work at a retail goodwill and be paid low. Im sure its the same for all Goodwills in the US because of Goodwill international. Be careful with what you donate, there is a sign of the dos and donts. If you have shopped there you should know what you should donate and what is trash. There is a landfill at 2350 Marriottsville Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104 opened Mon-Sat, 8am to 4pm. Its also better to donate during the week unless you want to be in a long line on weekends. Ive been in line on a Saturday afternoon, only to have someone behind me move over to park and pretty much cut in front of me and 3 other cars to donate. Yes, it may take awhile, but you imagine working there on a weekend when tons of people wNt to donate to. Im sure they get a ton of donations on weekends. Yes its there job, and it should be one car at a time. If there is a line, stay in line. Thats rude. I wish they were not next to sonic because people who eat there leaves trash everywhere; disgusting.. Anyway, I like shopping here when I can.

This store is a mixed bag with some funny business going on. People at the donations door are slow, rude and lazy. The next time I drop off and they act like they are doing me a favor by carrying the stuff up the steps (i.e. their job), I will donate elsewhere. I have made good buys of some very nice nearly new to new clothes at reasonable (but not cheap) prices. I have always heard that these thrift shops align with certain antique dealers who get their best stuff. I was in there on 7/24 and heard the store manager talking it up with one of the dealers who asked if "she had the stuff" and was she "holding out on him." Then they went to a quiet side of the store to talk privately. Slick to say the least.

Not worth the trip. Rude employees, but not surprised when the manager Dan is rude as well. Items are way overpriced. Clothing that is over 10 years old should not be priced the same as newer items, simply because it is a brand name. Found this trip that the glassware and household items have tripled in price. People arent going to buy used items that they can buy in a retail store for about the same price.

We just showed up with items to donate. We handed a packed-up box of dishes to the guy in the back, told him it was breakable dishware, and he literally threw it down two feet into a bin. I heard every dish and ceramic mug break. My husband said, "Um... Those are broken now." The guy said, "Yup. Do you need a receipt?" What in the world was the point of that? I wont donate here again.

Went to donate bunch stuff the guy at the donation section was very rude and was shaking his head as if I was was doing something wrong, would have been less of hassle to just throw away the things instead of donating them ,not gone donate anything to this location again will donate to habitat to humanity at least they are nice to people

A decent Goodwill, but only if you want clothes. The clothes mostly lean towards the Womens department, and the electronics department is pretty lacking, but that isnt their fault, its all about what people donate. During Halloween, they had a table with all the donated Halloween costumes they had, which was really cool and convenient.

Didnt like the staff. They were very picky about what you brought in. Anyway, there was mostly junk in the store and items were over priced.Hope they leave the area. Im going to use the Linwood Center (behind La Palapa) in Old Ellicott City. They are much nicer to deal with and probably a better cause..

This is what you would expect from a Good will. Its larger than most and did have a decent array of furniture. As typical for these places though, be sure to inspect items for damage. Many of the luggages or different furniture items werent in great shape.

Honestly, I wished I could have just pulled off every item that was misplaced in the womens department... they need to select a day to just go through the entire store and resort items.

Youd think a donation center would be up to help the community, I however feel this particular goodwill is all about making as much profit as possible by misleading their customers.

Its ok. It always smells of mold. It would be a nicer experience if their air handlers filtered the air for particulates as well as odors.

Stop by once in a while with a friend who loves goodwill shopping. Clean, and has some decent finds once in a while.

Mostly "good" junk, nice finds and prices are still set (seemingly) lower than at other nearby Goodwill outlets.
