Great butcher shop. Got the family pack for 3. And its lasted over 2 weeks for 2 people, with leftovers. The bacon is amazzziinnngggg. Love me some bacon! Next time will be buying extra bacon. Even though it did come with a lot. The meat is great quality. A little bit of a drive for me. But not a big deal if im only heading there every 2 1/2 weeks. The location is nice too. Because you can hit the farmers market up for some produce and get some ice cream a couple doors down! I included pictures of some of the meat cooked. All turned out delish! Will be ordering more meat soon!

My boyfriend and I get their two-person family pack. Its a great deal for a lot of good quality meat and plenty of variety. Our last package took us two and a half weeks to eat - not bad for two people under sixty bucks! And all of it was delicious. Even the simpler items like the sausage and frankfurters had great taste and seasoning. We were especially impressed by the tenderness of the stew meat. Last time we used it to make vegetable soup, but this week were going to try shish-ka-bobs. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone who wants great meat for a fair price.

REALLY disappointed with the quality of the meat and expected way better especially because of this butchers reputation and service has always been good. My husband bought two of their sirloins on the 22nd of May for $25 only for them to spoil and reek of ammonia two days later despite being stored in our freezer. Wouldnt be surprised if the butcher cut into the bladder and got urine in the cuts but decided to sell the meat anyway. Weve lost all confidence in this shop. Will not be returning and I do not recommend.

These Steelers fans are awesome!!! Their prices are great, products are delicious and they always treat the customers like family, unless they are Raiders fans... Never had a bad experience and the applewood bacon is the bomb... Always fresh always AWESOME! !!!! Family packs are a great value, and can be ordered online or by phone for next day pickup. Convenient, courteous, and always a pleasure to go there. Thanks to Johnny and the guys I will go there every chance I get...

The Country Butcher Shop in the Virginia Beach Farmers Market is THE BEST!!! Youll never buy meat from the grocery store again. Johnny and the rest of the guys are a lot of fun. They know you, if not by name, by the sports team you like. The meat is great and order a sub while you are there. I would recommend the Country Butcher to anyone!
