Total waste of time and hard credit pulls. Checked their website on a Sunday. Seen a car that fit my budget and met my expectations. Considering its tax time I didnt want to waste time so I submitted a loan application via their website and drove to the lot that same day just to see the vehicle. Wasnt expecting to meet with anyone since their site stated they were closed on Sundays. We ended up running into Mike Morales. He brung us in and we asked about the car we seen, turns out they didnt even have the car in their possession, said it was still waiting to be inspected and he couldnt give me a date that it would be ready because the big lot was backed up. No worries, right? Wrong. Monday I called to follow up with the finance application and he wasnt able to give me a definitive yes we can finance you or a no. Which I found odd. This is my only my second time seeking auto financing, the first time was through NFCU 5 years ago and the process is much different. Lets fast forward 5 days and 4 phone calls to him later. Still no definitive answer on the financing, 6 lenders have pulled my credit, and the car never even passed the inspection. Hes telling me to look on the site to find something else to see if the bank would do it. By this time I feel screwed and wish I wouldve just went to the credit union. So I try to stick with them since Ive gained all these hard pulls from them. Inquire about another vehicle and he just says "that one wont work" via text, no further explanation. I wouldnt waste my time here unless you have a pre-approval from somewhere else and I certainly wouldnt bother with anything on their site that says "new arrival. Before bath". LESSON LEARNED!

I enjoyed the first two weeks with my car, even though I was told the funny sound was just the new CVT and the gear shift kept falling apart when I shifted. They gave me a new shifter and said I would get use to the engine sound......Not!.......Wound up having the transmission totally replaced.......took 6 days to put in a transmission . 3 weeks after the new tranny, my car got stuck in "park". Could not move it at all. Called AAA to tow it to dealership where they tore the passenger door know off!!! AAA cut me a check for $450.00 for "heavy handedness of sn employee". Its now in the shop again for a gear shift assembly. $550.00 because its an electrical part of the shifter that kept falling off. Im not the happiest person right now because the ESTATE warranty....(which was the best there was...per my salesman) does not cover this electrical problem.......so.......as much as I spent on the used car...........I could have and should have bought a new cheap car. Which may still happen......

So I have a quick story. I bought my first car from one of the dealer, Lucas right before closing time. After the drum roll of getting my loan accepted. He pretty much helped me with every step for me getting me in that Dodge stratus that night. His manager replaced my visor and back tires the very next day for free. The next month my check engine light went on and sent it the checker flag techs. I forgot the name for proper appreciation (He works for the used car techs) but he told me he could fix the car to top condition and supply me with a rental car for free. I felt like a valuable customer from purchase to now. The staff is extremely friendly and recommend all of Hampton roads to consider Checker flag for your next vehicle. Thanks again.

Brandon Robbins, the manager greeted us and made us feel at ease right away. We were interested in a Subaru they had for sale. We made am appointment on Friday for Saturday at 10. He assigned Corey DeAngelis to assist us. Corey texted us to let us know he would have the car out front waiting for us. On Saturday morning, he texted us to let is know it was out front and waiting for us. Throughout the whole experience, they were helpful, friendly and efficient. I know Brandon must have been very busy, but he still took time to check on us and make sure we were being well taken care of. Corey was very sweet and helpful, working hard to accomplish the goal getting us the vehicle we wanted. Thank you Brandon and Corey!!

Michael Morales and Ethan ( Finance guy) were the best. My husband and I have been in the market shopping for a vehicle for about a month. Weve been to a ton of places. We came in and expressed our concerns and advised them of our needs and they took care of us from there. Very personable, helpful, professional just everything that we were not excepting when it comes to a sales person and or and dealership. Being a young inexperienced woman I dreaded having to buy a new car but Randy and Alex made the whole experience a pleasure. Alex from Checkred Flag Toyota was able to find me a great car in my price range but was unfortunately sold right before I could view it. He set me up with one of his colleagues from Auto Outlet down the street, Randy, who was able to put me in the car I wanted since I was 17! From beginning to end everything was a pleasure. Randy left no questions unanswered and was such a great person to work with!

So far, so good! Mike was friendly, helpful and patient with the car buying process. He came in on his days off, and waited well after hours to accommodate our schedule. So far, so good = weve only had the car for 3 days... However, the team at the Auto Outlet went above and beyond to rectify a smell in the car.
