Just purchased a 2012 Subaru Impreza from Matthews Import Center. This is my first Subaru, first new car and first non American car. I chose Matthews because of close proximity to home and after doing plenty of research I knew I wanted to make a Subaru my next car. I dealt with Rob Finta and he was excellent from start to finish. Upon my first visit he came outside and greeted me within a couple minutes, brought me into the showroom for me to look at the Impreza they had inside. He briefly went over the features of the car and asked me questions to help him understand what I was looking for. After taking a few test drives I told him I wanted the car. He made the process very easy and simple for someone whos never purchased a new car before. Kept me up to date through phone calls and text messages every step of the way right up until the day I took delivery, at which point my shiny new car was pulled out front and he sat down in the passenger seat with me to go over everything I could have possibly had a question on in the car. Overall a great first experience with Matthews and would highly recommend Matthews and Rob for sales and service.

Just bought my very first Subaru, and I am all starry-eyed with glee! The Crosstrek XV is a wonderful combination of stylish and sensible, fun and reliable, and I cant wait to take it on all kinds of adventures. The staff at Matthews Import are lovely -- I have received such genuinely warm and helpful service right from the first phone call, through the test drives, to the final signing. Jeff Wickman is very knowledgeable and honest. He helped me find a car that was "baby-bear" just right for me and my lifestyle, and has patiently walked me through every step of the purchase. A warm shout-out to Bill, who was able to assist in the test drive with wisdom and laughs, too! A very special thank-you also, to the finance manager, who did absolutely everything in his power to help me get a wonderful deal on my new car. Horrible place bunch of incompetent crooks dont buy or take your car there for service its a disgrace to Subaru and Mazda. They were supposed to fix my motor after I had it fail on the highway. It only lasted 3 days after getting it back before it blew up in my face. The jerks like Gil and Mike refused to help me only offering some small deductions in labor probably because they know they did a crappy job. Come to find out after having it tore down by a Subaru mechanic who used to work there they had left a head bolt nut inside the motor and caused it to break. They laughed at me when I told them that and the guy who found the problem is also a crook, because he does work with them and lied. He said he wouldnt show in court if asked. If you cant fix a engine without finding the nut you dropped before replacing it with another one then you shouldnt touch anyones car especially work for Subaru. Theyll probably "forget" to hook up someones brakes.

I started my search on line for a replacement vehicle. I did not wish to go through another winter without the confidence and ease of mind that all wheel drive gives you. I decided I was probably going back to Subaru. My dealings with Matthews started with a contact from Ashley Bennet, one of their online reps. She set me up with an appointment to see Rob Fintas down at Matthews Subaru. I was more than pleased with the help I was given by Rob in making my selection. He put me in the various Subaru models for a hands on driving experience. He was able to answer any questions I had and had the good sense to allow the car to convince me. I like his well informed presentation without any of the usual BS that one has come to expect when buying a car. This is not the first time I have bought a car from the Matthews group and I suspect it will not be the last. Over all it was a very positive experience. Thanks Matthews team!!

I contacted Jeff Wickman on Sunday to ask him to keep his eyes open for a nice Toyota Highlander for us. He responded within minutes with several options and we picked the one we thought looked best. On Monday he had the vehicle and it was EXACTLY what we wanted... fully loaded and a great value. Jeff did everything possible to explain our options, allowing us to know all the facts without any sales nonsense. When we signed the paperwork, Jeff took over and made all the arrangements and then did all those extra nice touches that made us totally satisfied with both the vehicle and with Matthews Auto. We were pleasantly surprised when we went to sign the final paperwork and pick-up our car that the financing rate was significantly less than we had agreed to. Jeff worked hard to be our advocate and to ensure that the total package was the best possible. We could not be more satisfied! Thanks Jeff!!

Damage to my 15 year old car caused me to have to buy a new car in a short period of time. Jeff Wickman worked with me over a period of 3 days to help me find the perfect car. He spent hours per day with me and we literally test drove over one hundred miles: Mazdas, Kias, Subarus, mid-size, compact, new, used, different option packages. He researched information for me so that I had the data to make intelligent comparisons based on features, price and other important factors. I bought a Kia Optima and I could not be happier. I had questions a couple of weeks later about the climate control and defrosting systems and both Jeff and the Service Manager worked with me so that I fully understood the functionality of this sophisticated system. I love my Optima and I loved working with Jeff!!

Personally some of the kindest and most non-invasive salesmen I have ever met. Drove 3 hours to see an very uncommon used car model, they spent two weeks fixing some of the scratches and dents and adding new brake pads just as a pre-sale negotiation fix. I already almost entirely told them that I was still into buying it but I needed the work done before I did. Had a gut feeling about the mechanical and finked out and they still were humble and understanding as humanly possible. Even the manager Dino was honest and direct about the pre-sale fixes. If I ever see another car I like at this place I almost guarantee ill go back for the friendly service! Thanks again, Mike, Scott, and Dino.

From my internet contact and my first step through the doors until I drove off the lot with my new Subaru, all of the folks at Matthews went above and beyond to make my car-buying experience a pleasant one! Jeff, Dino, Rob, Abbie, Scott, Marvin (and of course Sadie) were great! After my first visit to Matthews I checked with another dealership and two different sales staff, for Subaru and another make of car. My experiences there were sub-par and left me rather deflated. Matthews quickly found the car that I wanted and the rest is history. A 60+ mile drive to Matthews is well worth it and Im looking forward to the same experience for regular service on my new Subaru.
