The guy we dealt with was very nice at the beginning of the process, his name was brad and told us about his sons. We had driven a fairly far distance to go to this dealership and explained over the phone our issue, we recently had a newborn baby and the Chevy spark we received was to small to fit the car seat and situate everyone comfortably. So we drove down arrived and did the whole "hi,hello" thing. They ran the numbers because we still owe on this car, the Chevy spark, and came back with some high numbers. They were quoting us around 150$+more then our maximum. So they continued to run numbers and ended up coming back with a leasing option, the rating of two stars is because 1. They didnt actually listen, they took some numbers, ran with a general plan, and never really considered other options. If the spark is to small, why would the sonic not be better? 2. The guy just randomly showed up with a leasing option that was still WAY to high. 3. Why not consider cars with our budget, if you already know the numbers are to high. The entire experience was infuriating, not so much by the approach but the time we wasted and the lack luster need to provide what we specified. My other question is why didnt we consider used cars? Certified cars? The sonic? Why was it we could run the numbers for the trax and cruise, but not consider other options more preferable to our situation. The thing I feel really pissed us off was brad had the nerve to tell us "I got a job to do." Yes, you do have a job to do, its to please the customers! 2/5 is a fair ranking. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: So after our review was posted, I contacted the Chevy Customer Contact Center and was assigned a case number. I tried contacting the dealership through their customer contact center, but Chad had contacted me from the dealership and was rude at that time. So the Chevy CCC gave me a case number. A few days passed, and the dealership GM called me, his name was Marcus, and he listened and was polite, and literally took it upon himself to rerun the numbers to see if they could provide a vehicle in which we could fit our carseat for our newborn son. He also had Chad (the gentleman from the dealership customer care) email me directly and apologize for not taking note of my original concerns. I truly appreciate the apology. The GM Marcus ran the numbers and actually provided us a few possible cars that we could choose from and different colors. All said and done, we came down the day before thanksgiving and picked up our brand new Chevy Cruse in silver! We were astonished at the way it rides and all the features that were included. At the end of the day, the salesperson brad and us spoke and we all had respect for each other, the dealership customer care rep apologized and it meant alot, because at times it may feel that you have no where to go but up, and the GM resolved all of our concerns and was polite and courteous. I have dealt with this dealership for many years and drive a great distance to receive the utmost respect and care for my vehicles, I would still very much recommend this dealership as they are one of the best in the areas and have since change my review to 5 stars! Thanks again for the great car and for listening and taking our situation into consideration.

Got a great deal on a cruze... but worst experience with the service department.... when my car would be in for a recall, Id typically just have them do the oil change and tire rotations at the same time. Only after this the recall wouldnt be fixed. So far Ive waited for 4 months for a part that they "special order" yet, every time I called and asked about it they have no idea what Im talking about. When my car started overheating (2015 20k milage) I was told I had to wait two weeks to get the car in and no loaner would be available.. a service advisor told me to " just drive safe"... the same service advisor who told me "chevy uses cheap materials and parts. Thats why that happened" i was driving close to 100 miles round trip for client appointments and was not comfortable with this. Gary, sales manager, got me in and got me a loaner car thankfully. BUT when they had my car for 6 days and I got it back and still had problems I called the service manager to see why it wasnt fix and he insisted I did tests at home because they were easy to diagnose. If they were that easy why didnt they figure it out when my car was there for the previous visit? Overall sales experience was good got me a good deal and a good monthly payment but the service department I find unacceptable. Started taking my car to a different dealer and thinks that were "unfixable" or "not covered" were replaced and now not a problem.

Outten Chevrolet of Hamburg is awesome! They were able to place my Husband who has low credit into a car two years ago and they have been taking care of us ever since! I was always leery of dealerships because of the reputations they get, like they are nice, sell you the car and are monsters after you sign the papers and drive off the lot, so not true here! When I call with a question they take the time and are so happy to get me the answer. The ease of making an appointment is wonderful, they even go through over the phone to make sure they have everything ordered for when you come in and then give you a courtesy reminder call a day or two before hand as well. I had an emergency once, my battery had died at a gas station and I had triple A come out to give me a jump, I drove it straight to Otten in order to get a new battery, I didnt even call just showed up and I explained what had just happened and within the hour they had a new battery in for me, and my kids where happy because they got to eat some of the yummy donuts they had out for their customers. Outten is a lifesaver, family oriented and they absolutely value their customers! I highly recommend them and my family with deal with no one else for any of our car needs!

If your nice, say yes to everything they say, and sign all the paperwork without any hesitations then this company is great. If you have any reservations about the purchase or want to sleep on the offer, their friendly demeanor quickly fades to strong-arm tactics and rude behavior that will leave a terrible taste in your mouth. The staff was very friendly and accommodating initially but the deal was not ideal so we asked to sleep on it and discuss the deal at home as a family before committing. Apparently, they worked really hard to get us that offer so were offended when we did not rashly fold to their pushy behavior. We never told them no, but this still resulted in a quest to get back our keys to our car that they had evaluated as a trade in. If you are a serious car shopper dont waste your time here. They are the reason car dealers get stereotyped. On the other hand, Outten Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep (right up the road) were amazing to work with. Even when we decided to sleep on their offer, they continued to honor and respect our decision process and patiently worked with us.
