Recently I was pondering how I have lost count of the number of Jaguars I have purchased from Rosenthal Jaguar, Tysons Corner, through the years and decided to let others become aware of my story. To begin with, both my Wife and I are Jaguar owners and have nothing but great things to say about the level of professional service and care these folks put forth in making us, as proud owners of the finest of luxury automobiles, feel like royalty. While my Wife and I are not what some might label snobby in owning a Jaguar, we are both professionals and down to earth people who simply thoroughly enjoy the experience and compliments of driving a Jaguar. Lets be realistic, the highways are overcrowded with BMWs, Mercedes, the Cadillac and such, to their credit being nice "vehicles." However, we chose a "luxury automobile" that has not been mass produced and priced to flood the market for any and everyone. When individuals think of a grouping of truly fine, upscale and rarely, by comparison, seen luxury automobiles, brands like Rolls Royce, Bentley, Maserati, Lamborghini and yes, Jaguar readily come to mind. The bottom line is they are truly in a class of their own. To place the attributes of said luxury in our hands, we chose not only a dealership, but the Divisional part of a Company with a history of upscale automobile franchises and a proven track record of superior service beyond measure. Speaking of service, my Wife and I have never, ever, experienced such a genuine and sincere level of our automobile service and care. A while ago I commented to my Wife how historically, prior to my Rosenthal Jaguar relationship, I experienced the strategically manipulated and scripted empty promises of dealer services and care, not to mention falsely advertised and or not clearly discernible warrant features. What is amazing in doing business with these folks at Rosenthal Jaguar, Tysons Corner is how they proactively make sure we not only are within the regularly scheduled maintenance parameters established by the manufacturer, but also being thoroughly in touch with "our" personal preferences for "our" vehicles specific service and care. Our Service Advisor Yujin Lee is the best in the industry and my Wife has often commented on how Yujin, as a female, is sensitive to better explain and clarify the meaning behind those items and services which guys like myself might not intentionally deem important and or necessary. The emphasis is on intentionally......good recovery, yes? Nonetheless, I have shared a lot, however, by now you should both understand and appreciate that my Wife and I have not only found the ideal dealership, but have also established long-term friendships with a group of real professionals and we feel very blessed at having our paths cross.

So I went here to get a brand new 2011 Range Rover. Paid nearly $55,000 for it and on the second day I drove it, there was a tire pressure problem. So I went out to check out my car tires and what do I see? Rips and tears in all 4 of my tires (One tear big enough to lower the tire pressure). I didnt notice it on the first day, since from far away (with Tire Shine) it looked alright, but after I noticed this, I was furious and contacted the sales manager, in who I made the purchase through. He said "This sort of thing could happen..." I have leased almost 10 different new cars (mainly Mercedes Benz) in the past 8 years and never have I witnessed this sort of problem. I was thinking how could they have done this? But I remember that it took almost 2 hours to sign the papers and wait for the car to be “washed”. Why does a new car need to be washed? So I assume during the 2 hours that they took my car in the back, they exchanged my brand new tires for used tires and just put tire shine on it to make it ‘look’ new. Since this had occurred, I requested for a brand new car again since taking the wheels off a brand new car doesn’t make my car “new” anymore. So I said I would return my car that I had exchanged and get it from another dealership if they did not offer a brand new Range Rover. A couple hours after I got off the phone, he called me again saying that he would get me a new Range Rover. He possibly did this because he was scared that I would file a lawsuit against him in which I had every intention to. A couple days later… So now they offered me a “new Range Rover” in replacement for the one with used tires that they had originally given us. This Range Rover had 240 MILES ALREADY ON THE CAR. Are you kidding me? And there was a pack of gum on the side pocket of the car as well as an empty water bottle in the backseat. SOMEBODY once drove this car and this car is NOT, BRAND NEW, as they had insisted. The Sales Manager later told me that this car was “Test Driven” for 240 miles and that the person cleaning the car must have left the gum and empty water bottle there. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, SERIOUSLY? The Range Rover we were looking at for a week and test driving for had only 40 miles. But 240?!? What the rip-off kind of dealership are you trying to make of us? We decided not to get the car and keep our old range rover. But the old one now has our original “new tires” glued back on to the rims and it just doesn’t look as smooth anymore. We’re really considering on returning this just to not get a new car or go to another dealership. This is ridiculous. Never go here. BUYERS BEWARE!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU IN ANYWAY THEY CAN. PLEASE CHECK YOUR TIRES/ENGINE/ETC. IF YOU ARE PURCHASING A NEW CAR! OTHERWISE, DON’T PURCHASE YOUR CAR FROM HERE.

Ive owned my Jaguar X-type for about two years now. I bought it from a dealer in the mid west and received unparalleled service. Im sorry to say that this is not the case with this dealership. Moving to the northern VA area I began taking my car to Rosenthal Jaguar & Landrover because its the only one dealer in reasonable driving distance for me. I went in for a 50k mile maintenance bonanza that was way expensive. I also had a flat tire on the front. They call me and say the car is done. I pick it up and everything seems to be in order. Later that night I notice that they had rotated my spare tire to the back (its a full size spare) wheel on th passenger side and replaced the front tire leaving a flat in my trunk. I called them back up and I brought it back in. I picked up the car a second time and I had a used spare in my trunk and my old spare still on the car. Needless to say it took 3 trips and me physically walking someone out to my car to point out what was wrong. Less than a thousand miles later Im back at the dealership with various warning lights and error messages. After a $1200 full service check up I find this rather disturbing. I took the car in and tried to get a loaner. I waited for almost two hours on a Saturday afternoon (which is usually busy but this particular day was pretty empty) before they bothered to get me a car. And that was only after I complained multiple times. The girl a the counter was more interested in her KFC lunch than doing her job. While in the waiting room I was talking to a few other people and they were all in for service recently as well. And conveniently they were back in less than 1k miles later for service just like I was. I dont like to make accusations of impropriety but 3 people all in for service earlier that month with routine maintenance are back in for serious problems days later. Heck the one woman brought in her car for an emissions test and left with a check engine light. Anyway I got my loaner car and it was filthy. It also felt like the steering column was going to shake off the thing. I wouldnt have minded so much but it took them 4 days to get my car back to me. Were they waiting on a part? Was something terribly wrong? Could I speak to the mechanic? No in all cases. Turns out they had wasted days attempting to file the proper warranty paper work. Even though I have a full warranty on my car some how I was still charged $100 for misc expenses. Ive never been treated so poorly at any car dealership. If you didnt buy your car from them and you are out of warranty I recommend not wasting your time or money here.
