We showed up for an appointment to look at a used car and met Walid, who was sitting behind the desk through a door labeled "office" with a small handmade sign at the Vehicle Wish facility. Walid claimed that the vehicle had a Maryland State Safety Inspection, but could not show proof of inspection when requested. He said we would have to get online and would get no details on the cars condition other than "pass." Within 2 minutes he told me that we would be charged $100 for the inspection and $1000 more for the vehicle than the USAA / TrueCar certified price that we came there with. During the walk around and test drive we noticed several issues with the vehicle (headlight out, tires extremely worn, bad sound from the AC fan) and decided to take the vehicle to an independent mechanic for inspection. I called Walid to inform him and ask if this was ok. He freaked out and demanded that I return the car within 5 minutes or else he would call the police. I asked why and received no satisfactory answer. He told me that I could not take the car to a mechanic, yelled at me that he owned the car and continued to threaten me with calls to the police. To me this behavior clearly indicated (A) that he was trying to hide something (B) that Vehicle Wish is a shady operation. I recommend that you look elsewhere if considering purchase of a vehicle.

Was looking at a used Miata on the lot here. No CPOs, so we wanted to have it looked at by either a trusted mechanic or a dealership. We dont have a trusted mechanic in the area, so we asked them if we could take the car to a dealership. They say that have a policy that cannot be budged regarding taking cars out outside mechanics. Theyve had problems in the past. Never mind that this is an exceedingly common practice, we tried to work around their policy, and offered to pay for an inspection if they were willing to transport it. I was told they did not have time to do this. If you dont have 20 minutes to make a sale, theres a serious problem with your business model. If you dont allow used cars to be looked at by a mechanic of the buyers choice, you have a serious problem with your business model. Its used car sales 101.

I got a 2008 honda accord ex-l for the price i wanted. I was in a time crunch , Walid did me a big favor and I can not express how happy he has mad me. I felt like a could never trust a car dealer, but after having such a wonderful experience. You gave me faith again that there is honest people still out there. My honda rides nicccceeeeeeee!!!!!!! so fast , this car is like new i could not be happier!!!!!! thank you thank you thank you! The after hours help was a big help! The car storage a big help! saved me 100 bucks. sorry to haggle with you after I heard the engine , it no longer does that!!!!! This baby just wanted to be out on the rode! Great price on a good car. No haggling; pricing was nearly $3,000 under CarMax rates for a similar car. Very easy to deal with, very friendly. Made an appointment to close, and all paperwork was ready, and the car was clean and ready. In and out for closing in 15 minutes; unheard of when buying a car! Great prices, There really isnt any need to haggle. Great customer service! Walid is great. He is honest and humble. I purchased a 2007 Civic Hybrid as my second car and If i ever purchase from a dealer again, I will definitely call Walid or recommend him to any friends.
