Dealers like this one give other car dealers bad name. Scam artists. Dont believe their "Leckner Savings" and "Leckner Price" that seems to be too good to be true. Here is an example of Leckner Math as shown on their web site vs. what happens once they lure you into their store: Nissan Murano : MSRP = $36,145 - $8,450 (Leckner Savings) = "Leckner Price" $27,695 So far so good. MSRP consists of $35,260 (BASE PRICE + options) + $885 (destination charges) = $36,145 Here comes the good part: The $27,695 does NOT include the destination charge and you need to add $885 back to it. You say "WHAT?!?!?" So what happens in their math is this: They tell that you will pay this: (MSRP + DESTINATION) - DISCOUNT But they make pay this: (MSRP + DESTINATION) - DISCOUNT + DESTINATION And THEN, you find out that their internet prince only applicable to someone who is a recent graduate, active military and has some kind of funky mail-in Nissan discount all at the same time. Their out the door price ended up being way higher than the price quoted to me by another dealer who was honest about their pricing , but whose online prices where a lot less attractive. In addition Leckner charges $800 in "processing fees", which is equivalent of someone making $100 an hour working tirelessly 8 hours just to process your paperwork. Really? On the other hand - sales people are nice and polite and the dealership itself is clean and modern. Good selection of vehicles too. I will help Leckner maintain their awesome inventory by not buying anything from them. Not until they take some honesty lessons. UPDATE 11/23/2015: Got a call from some gentleman claiming that Leckner Nissan hired him to address the issues I have raised. He said he went through all advertisements and made the dealer adjust them so they are in fact honest and do not contain funky tricks and magical math. Asked if I would be willing to remove my negative review if they get me a gift certificate to a nice restaurant. What an honorable offer! So, I thought I would check what they done and amend the review. Here is what I have found (2015 NISSAN MURANO SV ; VIN: 5N1AZ2MH2FN250806): MSRP: _____________________ 34,220.00 SPLASH GUARDS: ______________ 160.00 ROOF RAIL CROSSBARS: _______ 355.00 FLOOR MATS: _________________ 210.00 AUTO-DIMMING INSIDE MIRROR: _ 315.00 DESTINATION CHARGES ________ 885.00 TOTAL: _____________________ 36,145.00 Leckner Savings -$8,650 LECKNER PRICE: $27,495 Notice how DESTINATION CHARGE is included in the total. When you look at the bottom of the page you see this: "Leckner Price excludes title, tax, tags, registration, Nissan freight (varies by model) and $799 Dealer Processing fee. " So, freight is included in the TOTAL, yet magically NOT included in the LECKNER PRICE. And the freight will be added AGAIN, when you come to the dealer thinking you are getting a good deal. How do you feel about paying freight twice? I dont think Leckner has addressed any of the concerns expressed in my review and thought they could bribe me by offering a gift certificate to a restaurant. And I thought for a second that Leckner made an honest effort to clean up their act. Disappointing that such dealers still exist and are able to con customers who are eager to buy a nice looking car and miss what is actually happening with their wallets and hard earned money.

Upon returning back to the dealership Friday night the original sales consultant that I had been working with (Beka) was on vacation so I was directed to work with Sabrina. I already knew the vehicle that I was interested in; we went and test drove it then I completed a credit application, after which I was told I was approved no problem and was given a print out of the monthly payments and interest rate of which I had to sign. These were out of my budget and I was informed by Sabrina that because all of the banks were closed by this time at night, the finance department would try to shop for a better interest rate Monday morning and that I could take the car home over the weekend to ensure that it didn’t sell. I briefly met with Claudia, a finance consultant, which was rude and brushed me off stating there was nothing she could do, so I was confused on the two conflicting statements. Sabrina ensured me that she’d call me Monday with an update and apologized for Claudia saying that “she’s lazy and never wants to do anything”. Monday came around and I didn’t receive a phone call and after leaving several messages for her and her manager Larry, she finally called me back and stated there was no need to worry she had given my folder to David (I think that’s his name) and he had been working on it all morning to get a better deal. When I arrived to the dealership that afternoon, I didn’t even get to meet with David. Sabrina informed me that David tried all he could be couldn’t find a better deal. I informed her that I would have to pass because it simply wasn’t affordable to me. She asked me to sit tight while she informed her manager Larry; she informed me that Larry was going to make phone calls to some lenders to see if he could do anything. I was sitting at Sabrina’s desk for 30 minutes and didn’t see Larry pick up the phone one time from across the room. Suddenly my cell phone rang, and it was him. I told him I was sitting across from him and he came over. He told me that there was nothing that he could do either, so I said I would go with the original offer. That’s when I was informed that the original offer was no longer available either – all because of a student loan that “magically” showed on my credit report from Saturday night to Monday morning. (I should mention that the student loan he was speaking about has been on my credit report since June, and even reflected so on the print-out he showed me.) I’m not sure what type of establishment they are running at Leckner; even though we all know the auto sales world is full of sharks, it seems like everyone I encountered during my brief dealings had something completely different to tell me. I won’t be back to do business with them. I already have and will continue to warn anyone I come across that’s interested in Leckner Nissan of my experience.

Does this place even deserve one star? Ok, so I understand things happen. But not this bad. So my fiance and I were looking at one particular vehicle for a few days, that we found on their website. Beautiful vehicle with a great price. I contact the dealership on Thursday about the vehicle, and speak with DaVelle Johnson to reserve this vehicle, and schedule a meeting/appointment for the upcoming Saturday. My fiance and I are over 50 miles away from this dealership. They know that. We did our homework, got a loan secured, and were ready to go. We get there, ON TIME, from 50 miles away, and what happens...DaVelle comes out and says, "Im busy." Really? Are you kidding me? Thats why we scheduled an appointment! I did not come 50 miles away to sit in the waiting area, and watch the Notre Dame football game. I can do that on my own couch! I came to get a particular vehicle, with a check in my hand, ready to purchase it, and made an appointment! Nope, didnt happen. What does happen is that DaVelle sends out his "helper" (nice guy), to tell me that the vehicle I asked to be reserved, the one that we were set to purchase, was gone and sold earlier that morning. Are you kidding me?!?!? Thanks for the phone call, and the heads up!! I just drove 50 miles for nothing! Not only was it a waste of my time, but a waste of gas. And you know what? Didnt see DaVelle ever again...because he was too busy for us, considering we made an appointment with him. Did not show any professionalism, and wasnt professional enough to tell us that the car was gone! Instead, he had to send out his "helper" to tell us that. So, thank you Leckner Nissan for wasting my Saturday. I emphasized my interest in the vehicle, and I know its a first come first serve thing with cars, but a phone call would have been nice, instead of me driving all the way out there for nothing. Thank you for reminding me what true professionalism is (something you guys know nothing of), and also reminding me that car dealerships, along with most of the employees there, are nothing but money-hungry liars. They just see dollar signs in their eyes, and will do anything to get people to the dealership...even people from 50 miles away. I am quite thankful that you did not get a penny from me, because you were not deserving. You know what you can do? Not contact me again. Stop emailing me about "wonderful" deals, and please dont even try to "correct" the situation, because you cant. I am not driving out there again, nor would ever give it a thought. The best you can do is take everybody that works there to a "workshop" to be reminded what decency and intelligence is. That way, other car buyers will not have an experience like I did.
