My first time coming here and I brought my standard poodle to get her a nice clean up poodle cut. When I came to pick her up she looked a mess!! I am not sure who groomed my dog but it looked rushed. There was random pieces of hair sticking out around my dog and around her paws that were supposed to be shaved.... then they didnt even cut her ears or brush them for that matter! They were scraggly and had a not in one of the ears. Then the poof she was supposed to have at the top was uneven and it was shaped like a cone. Also, her tail was cut so uneven and it was not brushed. In the end they razor burned my puppys top of her nose. They charged me $88.00 for this hot mess of a hair cut! I was so upset , I called and complained and got a full refund which really means something, probably that someone has complained before!!!! I would not recommend anyone to bring their pet here for a hair cut. Today we took my puppy to Dash N Dogs to get fixed and seriously looks like she got a fresh hair cut. Im so disappointed in Pet Smart and how they handled my puppy and I will never bring her back there again!!!!!

Took my grandmothers German Sheppard to the grooming salon at this location and had a horrible experience. I left her there for 5 and half hours in their care she was still damp when I picked her up to put her in the car and hair was falling off everywhere. I had paid extra for the terminator package and was very disappointed Megan the manager on staff at the time was very nice and gave me my money back and let me know they have been having problems with this particular person. Hopefully something gets done about it and this doesnt happen again to someone else. I took her to the new petco when I left there they helpped me tremendously only charged me $10 to blow dry her the rest of the way and brush her out and used some wonderful smelling spray, she didnt smell great when I picked her up.

This review is strictly for the grooming side of the house. When I called to make the appointment prior, the associate said nothing about a holding fee when I mentioned that I would drop my dog off in the morning and pick him up after work. Mind you the only call that I received was to tell me my dog was ready for pickup. When I got there to get him I was informed that my dog was stressed out and going through anxiety and that he was kennel crazed. I want to know why I wasnt notified sooner so I could have gotten him or figured something out. I noticed that I was charged a holding fee of $28 and when I mentioned it to the associate she was like "aw well, were not setup to keep dogs long" This is absolutely ridiculous, never going to this location for grooming again.

I brought my golden retriever regularly to this Petsmart for a bath. Its across from where I work so I would drop her, go to work and leave work early when she was done. Yesterday for my appointment they refused to bath her because she had mats in her skirt. They have always removed her mats for me in the past so I didnt know I should have removed them prior to bringing her. Refusing to bath her made me have to take her home before I could go to work which caused an hour delay. As far as I know there are no posted requirements other than shots in order to have your dog bathed. They will not bath my dog again!

Great staff, great leaders, I was helped by a gentleman named Ben, who showed me everything, inside and out that I needed to know about owning my very own beta fish. He told me the best method to keep it alive, the best foods to feed him, what kind of tank they like the best. Who knew owning I fish would require all this intricate work. But I am glad they were here to help me through this process of adding a new member to my family, you guys are the best and I will recommend you to everyone I know.

Nice friendly staff. Great selection of different products, it is a chain store. BUT, the prices online and inn the store are different. As much as double. And they dont have the same promotions. Again nice staff, as soon as I show them the price online the override the price and correct my bill, but why not have the same price. Why do I have to do my homework before paying.

Not the best PetSmart I have ever been to. Kinda dark in there and poorly organized/stocked. The shelves are so high it is like youre in a warehouse as opposed to other stores I have been to where the shelving is more at eye level. Id go there in a pinch, but not much selection for fish which is what I need.

They wouldnt let me get one item right at closing time for my sick kitten. I got there at 7:02 as they were bringing in carts and other customers were still walking out, and they wouldnt let me get l-lysine to reduce my kittens congestion and help her litter mates not get sick. Poo on them.

This is the worst place in all of Hampton Roads. The manager is indifferent to to problems, the staff rude, and the work sub-par. The location is close for me, so I put up with them for for several years, abut finally got tired of their bad treatment. Go to PetCo...much better!

Very helpful, when an item I needed was out of stock they called to near by stores and had product on hold. Adoption coordination is quick and professional as well. Only issue is trying to make grooming appts for cats. They only have 1 lady and her hours are a bit weird.

Staff is nice and helpful. We have taken our dogs here several times for a nail trim and bath. Sometimes when we pick them up, they are still wet. Another time, it seemed like they barely trimmed our pups nails. This is not my favorite location.

False advertisement! No pet smart in Virginia has a cat groomer! Every time I call to arrange an appointment, they tell me the same thing..."sorry we dont have a cat groomer" well then stop freaking postongnsaying you groom them when you dont!

Staff is so helpful! My son just got his first beta fish and the store associate was very knowledgeable about them. She was able to tell my son so much, he was so excited when he left there. That made my day!

The people that work there are nice aND very helpful. Some of there corporate rules are not helpful or courteous. I spend 100 dollars a month in the store, customer service is not goodenough .
