If I could give no stars to this company I would. My mom brought our elderly cat in for a routine summer shave to clean up the burrs that form when her hair stays consistently long. She had gotten fleas over the summer as well, which the shave should have helped with (as well as giving her the medication for the fleas). However, the next day she developed large sores all over her stomach because they had shaved too close to her belly, presumably with an unclean blade. Weve taken our cat to get shaved before and never had this sort of problem. When we called about it, they denied responsibility and said it wasnt their fault. I dont really understand how my cat getting belly sores as a direct result of her getting shaved at their company isnt The Dog Houses fault, but needless to say we will never be going back there again - and would recommend that no one else does. To be fair they did shave my long-hair cats fur, which was the wanted outcome of this visit. And maybe, we should not have taken a cat to a place called "Dog House." However, my understanding is that if you cant perform a service properly, the business should state that before entirely botching it and harming an elderly cat.

There is not a word that can describe how horrible this place is. I brought both my short haired dogs in for a normal bath and nail dremel. I am lucky to have two very well behaved, good tempered, easy to manage, well trained dogs. With my previous work experience working for a grooming salon and boarder, I understand how difficult dogs can me. This makes me even more thankful for how wonderful mine are. My dogs not only came back with cracked nails, a cut and bloody quick, wet/soapy ears, and a wet/soapy coat, but one of my dogs developed a ear infection as a result from dirty, soapy water getting down deep into her ear canal. I had to take her to the vet a few days after our horrendous experience. When I addressed this with the owner, Mrs. Ann,with the matter accompanied with the vets invoice, the only thing she was willing to offer was for me to return my dogs for a "better" job. I do not know any responsible owner who would take their dogs back. Very disappointed that she refused to refund me for my grooming visit, or assist with the vet bill.

Ive been going here for over a year now and Ive always loved their services and the prices were not bad for the requests. All of a sudden being a return customer means absolutely nothing and the price went up by $20 for nothing much out of what Ive previously asked for and they didnt care whatsoever and said thats the cost! Nearly $100! On a shi-poo dog! This is our last appointment. Looking for another grooming service who values loyal customers.

We have taken our Black Lab there for 5 years. When we mention that it is time for a bath he runs to the door. We love taking him there because we know he will be well cared for. They do a fabulous job and he absolutely loves going to them. When you find something good there is no reason to look any further. I have recommended The Doghouse to many of my friends. They have been pleased and are continuing to take their pets there also.

I have done business with this company for almost a decade and to any of you dependas out there tanking the google reviews because "Maury" isnt on yet, claiming "The Dog House" is not the best, you are kidding yourselves. This outfit is super clean and loves animals so much that the mere mention of their name sends my dog into a happy smile-spin. Thank you for being there for us.

We have a very VERY hard to groom dog - a Wheaten Terrier. We are so lucky to have found this groomer. The owner grooms our dog and shes an EXPERT at grooming our Wheaten. They are super nice and gentle with the dogs. You can tell that all the people there love animals. Top notch professionals. Theyve been grooming our dog since he was a puppy. Well never go anywhere else!

Very pleased. I have been taking my toy poodles to the same groomer/vet for 7 years and was apprehensive about switching to a groomer closer to home. Hours are great, staff is friendly and the groomer herself has been at this location for over 25 years. Paula House (groomer) was very pleasant and did a wonderful job. Both dogs came out looking beautiful and acting very happy.

I used this groomer a few years ago and never went back, reason.....they tethered my dogs neck so tight that he looked like he had been hung, the rope burn on his neck was BAD! I called and told them about it, but I should have reported them when it happened!! My dog was not the best behaved dog when getting groomed, but no need in that type of restraint!!

My collies visit the Dog House every month, or more! We call it the Spa. Paula and every single person there is compassionate and friendly. My collie girls love going there. I have a rough coated, a smooth coated, and a boarder collie mix. They have NEVER experienced any nicks or other physical trauma. They are the ONLY place I trust.
