I just read the reviews below & hope that people realize theyre old. The staff there now are very friendly, and when I needed help trying yet another type of food for my dog, their staff was very knowledgeable (I had already done the research.) If you need specialty food, they have the best selection! I work next to Petsmart but I drive out to Pet Supplies Plus. The groomers also do the best job ever on my dogs nails! Petsmart (Greenbrier) leaves their nails a mess every time. For VB/Chesapeake, go to this Pet Supplies Plus! Sign up for their member card & you get lots of great coupons & $5 giftcards for your pets birthdays! If you need pet food/supplies and the best daycare/boarding in Norfolk, go to Muddy Paws! Their new facility is awesome! Mary Anne there is great with dog nutrition info! Lisa in boarding is super sweet. They offer grooming, but Im now loyal to Pet Supplies Plus for my dogs nails.

I walked into this place only knowing what I learned from the internet about adopting a dog. I went up to the counter and asked if there was anyone that could help me get all the stuff I needed to bring a dog home. Food, treats, leashes, etc. I am so thankful for the guidance and direction given, especially from Sharon who walked me down each aisle to tell me what would be the best fit for my dog and what to stay away from. Customer service at its best!

if your looking for a wide variety of fish to choose from this is NOT the place they have a very limited selection and every time I walk in there there are fish belly up on the bottom of the tanks........but the upside is they have a decent variety of fish supplies and most of the staff will offer a helping hand but if you are looking for a fish your best bet it to go up the street to care-a-lot

I have many animals, I go to this particular pet store for the bulk bird seed. It is very reasonable! I can buy a little to try and if they like it I can buy a bunch. I hate buying prepackaged because if my pets dont like it I have a lot of waste. The people there are also very friendly. Overall a great pet store.

Regarding the judysbook user who reported loser cashiers with a complex, I tend to agree - whereas the grooming shop is concerned. Dude, I dont really care if Im not in your system. Yes Ive been there before. Dont just stare at me like theres some kind of glitch in your programming. Durrrrr.

Best prices on outdoor bird seed in the region. Friendly and helpful staff. Frequent sales on products. More personable than the bigger box store chains. Offer to carry heavy stuff to your car. My favorite for years. J.W. in Va Beach.
