The Stafford Best Buy location/store is a place to avoid. I have shopped at Best Buy and have spent quite a bit of money over 15 years as a repeat customer for large and small products. It was my go to store. I even held their top tier rewards program level for a while. Then I moved to Stafford Virginia. After about a year of dealing with rude in store staff (to include managers) and customer service employees, I had enough. Im generally and patient and highly tolerant person but when employees and managers go out of their way to ensure you have a terrible experience, its very disappointing. They are rude and lack any level of professionalism. They are quick to deflect blame to the third party vendors or to the customer when there is an issue. They do not follow the price match guarantee Best Buy has in place and the manager is quick to say they dont have to if they dont want to at that location. After avoiding the store for about a year I went back to see if things have changed by making what I thought would be a simple purchase. I purchased a gift card for a birthday gift and found out that it was not activated properly. I went back to the store and ran into all sorts of trouble just trying to resolve a gift card issue. Really!? They couldnt figure out what happened, and then the manager came over. He accused me (to my face) of picking up a gift card and trying to get it activated (he called it stealing a gift card) without purchasing, even though I had provided the paid receipt to the employee that matched the card in hand. I asked him if he even knew how to read a receipt (admittedly in a very sarcastic tone) because it was for that specific card and showed him how it matched the card. He finally looked at it and then walked away without saying anything further to me. I was in shock and disbelief. Im writing this review to warn that this store location is worse than ever. Be Warned: Do not shop at the Stafford store location! Good luck to you if you do decide to try the Best Buy in Stafford, VA. You will need it!

Every time any family member or I try to shop here its an exercise in frustration, deep breathing, & networking... with friends... to ask THEM to help. Take today for example; walk in, there are a good 15 salespeople standing around, chatting to each other. I ask guy at the door do you have x? He doesnt know ask someone else. While Im looking at s/Th near him a salesman approaches & door guy relays my question & points me out. They talk & talk about x yet nobody approaches ME to give an answer so I approach them, "I can hear you guys discussing x. Do you have x?" Sales guy responds, "oh no, we dont have x. We dont even have anything like x. Sorry." I was told that if I asked thats what they wld say b/c its my impression most ppl assume the sales team to be inept. So I added more info, "ya well I was told that x, y, or z types will be fnd in the camera section." "Oh no, I know this store well. We have NOTHING like that anywhere in here, sorry." So long story short, my friend at Hm, on his couch, looks up their inventory & sure enough they have multiple xs. They even had their own display & guess where it was... camera section! When I show said salesman that they indeed have many xs he tries to say that what Im holding is not x but a for bs. Then I point out that the packaging has "X" clearly written on the front!!! When my mother went to purchase a computer for over $1500 she practically had to have a heart attack to get any assistance at all! Its worth mentioning that while I was in store today an irate man came in screaming & yelling & cursing at one of the sales men, " you lied to me! You lied to me!" He then proceeded to continue on his anger rampage yelling & cursing & yelling at top of his lungs making his face bright red. But on my way out I appreciated him b/c I left there feeling that way, too. If I can I go to Radio Shack where I can actually get help or I buy online. Ill buy a nicer "X" online & attempt to avoid Best Buy at ALL costs.

If only I could give NO STARS. My most recent order has been the bane of my existence. The store taking over 2 hours to get the purchase done in-store shouldve been a warning sign. We were supposed to have three appliances delivered today and installed at a CONFIRMED time window of 9am-1pm. I had to wait over an hour after 1pm with no answer as to why delivery wasnt there yet when we made accommodations for the delivery as recommended on the paperwork they had me sign. I had to try calling multiple times with no answer. Then we get a call AFTER 3pm and was given a number that didnt work for the Stafford location (you may want to check that). Checked Google and that same number didnt work. Had to call a different number And as luck would have it wait again, no surprise there - they seem to like to put customers on hold when the item has already been sold and confirmed in-stock. Apparently there was an issue with thethird party and install. I dont understand how that ended up being our problem and how we needed to wait 2 more weeks for installation for the stores mistake. No other reason was given. No other accomodations for an issue that shouldve never been the consumer even when they said they will do everything to accommodate and fix the issue for us. Im pretty sure that this wasnt the first appliance install for Best Buy and this location so the lack of courtesy and customer service is severely appalling. When requested to speak to a manager that was also denied. Were waiting on the refund on our purchase. Lets see if they can fulfill that promise. They actually seemed happy that we were canceling the order. The "customer satifaction" is a complete lie. We will not shop here at all.

This store is very SLOW! I waited 45 mins for the geek squad and when I got up there they said they didnt know where my laptop was so they found out it couldnt e repaired so one guy told me I would get back what i paid for it so when I went to go back to tell him I picked out a laptop (which took me over an hour for the girl to come over and help me with a question I had about the Mac she completely ignored us for most part and stayed talking with other people guess she thought we didnt look like we could afford the Mac and figure not to waste her time idk I figure you have to go in there with a suit and tie on to get help FYI I have a coach purse and were nothing but American eagle) he wasnt there so I talked to another one that then told me no I wouldnt get all my money back so I asked to speak to the other guy and he looked at me like I was dumb so by this point I was just ready to get outta the store I will drive outta my way not to go back there unless I want to spend all day to get a laptop which we ended up at the store for over 4 1/2 hours by the time everything was done
