Bottom Line Up Front: Great sales pitch, terrible delivery scheduling and unfulfilled service on a $3k purchase. Let me start off by saying that this is the second time that I have purchased from this store, but I am very upset with the way the handle things this time around. Like those who are reading this, we schedule our time around the delivery and take time off of work in order to be there when the delivery is done. If our schedule is disrupted, then those who are around us also gets disrupted. Here is what happened: 1. Saturday, purchased 3 items and set delivery date for the next week. 2. Monday, upgraded a television set I recently purchased and changed the delivery date to Wednesday. Scheduled for an electrician to come to my house on Wednesday. 3. Wednesday, Waited until business hours because the delivery men were supposed to call with a time they will deliver the set. Contacted the store and was informed that the delivery is not happening that day. They informed me that delivery was for Saturday and that the salesman did not change it in the system. The next available date was on Friday. Contacted the electrician to let them know that The Big Screen Store messed up and they will not be coming in until Friday. 4. Friday, they called me as promised and I am on stand-by with the electrician waiting on both sets. The delivery men come in and deliver only 1 television. The television that was supposed to be mounted is not there. Contacted the store to let them know that they did not deliver the second television as promised. They cant make the delivery on Friday because the television is not in stock at the local store. 5. Saturday, they called as promised and was informed that they were on their way to deliver the TV and sound bar. They told me that they could not put the TV on the mount because of liability purposes. However, they can not mount the sound bar because the TV was not mounted. In the end, the communication between the salesmen and the delivery team were not synchronized causing schedules to be altered and contracts to be broken.

I went into Big Screen a week ago and talked to a salesman. He told me that they had the best prices in town and would match competitors price. He specifically mention that they would be the prices of HHgreg, Best Buy, Walmart and Costco. I went to Costco to see what their price was on a 65" Samsung Curve TV. I called Big Sceeen and the salesman would not allow me to ask any questions. He kept cutting me off telling me that Samsung makes a special models of TVs that only Costco can get and sell and not compete with their prices. I dont know if any of that is true or not. I was willing to work with the salesman and purchase the next TV similar. When I asked the salesman to slow down and let me ask the questions he told me no buy from Costco. Well I took the salesman advice and both the 65" Curve Samsung TV and a surround system too. To bad for big screen becasuse I liked their home theater setup just not their customer service. Good customer service is a must if you want me to spend my money with your store. My experience at Costco was great and their customer service was awesome.

I just purchased my third TV from The Big Screen store, an 82 inch Samsung 8000 series. I live in the country so I do a lot of my research on the net for comparison and pricing purposes. I checked all the big box stores and no one could beat their price and although Best Buy will price match but they only offered a 1 year warranty. Big Screen Store is 2 years so it was a really easy decision. My sales associate was Ed Hodge at the Fredericksburg VA store and he made the entire purchase so simple that I didnt even have to make the drive into town. I was to make the entire purchase over the phone as I already knew the set I wanted. A week later it was set up in my basement. Great store and great staff as well. Ed spent 20 minutes on the phone with me just today to answer additional questions I had. I highly recommend them if youre looking for a nice TV at a fair price with great customer service.

I would like to comment on the exceptional service that I received from Corey. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products in the store and super professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions ( and I had a lot) and he really made me feel like a valued customer. I also want to point out how he went above and beyond for not only me, but the other customers in the store. As long as Corey is with the Big Screen Store - you will have a repeat customer! He is a model employee and represents your company well!

Purchased a TV from this store with the same excellent service 16 years ago. That TV lasted 16 years but recently started having some issues. Back to this store and once again received a great TV at a great price with the same excellent service. Ed was the gentleman that helped me in the store was great and Marvin did a great job delivering it. They are also very honest and refunded me $200 a couple weeks latter when the price dropped. Highly recommend.

I cant possibly say enough good things about Corey. He was so helpful. We bought our TV over a year ago, along with our Bose system and had some questions. Even though time has lapsed, he remembered us and answered all of our questions and was very patient. He has come to our house to help us as well as coach us over the phone. Great service.
