UPDATE: It has now been a few months & I feel I should update my review. Its important to note that I discovered that GoWireless is able to offer their own promotions & have to apply them themselves; not the corporate office. First, my bill has consistently been more than what I was told it would be (including taxes/fees, but disregarding the first bill as thats typical). This was a main perk for switching so I was a little peeved. I was also told that the credit for my turn-in would be available on my account after a month or so, but I could call Verizon to see if theyll credit it to my first bill. I was told that my account didnt have a record of a turn-in other than seeing it on my signup receipt. We discovered that the credit was used towards the "free" phone case & screen protector I received. This was the first thing to really upset me; I was blatantly deceived. Next, I was being charged an activation & monthly fee for the Hum despite being told the promo made it free across the board. The GoWireless store has to enter these discounts, as it is separate from the corporate office. The rep on the line reimbursed me the activation cost but was unable to correct the monthly fee due to this. It may be less than $10, but it is the principle. I contacted the rep I had signed up with & he said hed talk to his manager to get it sorted. He went on to say that the promo charges you for the first 3months but will then stop & youll be credited for the months you paid. Doesnt make sense but ok, Ill bite. I didnt hear from him again even after reaching out a few times. Lastly, I received a notice from my previous carrier that I still owed money for closing my account. I contacted the rep at the GoWireless store again & he said he was unsure why it wouldnt have been sent & he needed me to send him some info so he could research. I did & then I didnt hear from him again. After a couple weeks of waiting, I called Verizon & the rep on the other line was appalled. So much so, that while on the phone he emailed the regional manager to get him involved. Everything I was told & "done" for my account was incorrect, especially the paying off of my former carrier. I had been with my other carrier for so long that I didnt know they no longer paid each other; I was none-the-wiser. As it turns out, I should have been told to go online & upload the payoff amount & then Id be sent a card to use towards it. The regional manager is great & has been so helpful. He was stunned to hear that a 7yr employee & assistant manager would have put me through the ringer. Unfortunately, Im not the only one so before I can receive the credits to my account that he wants to provide, I have to wait for Verizon to conclude an investigation. Im hopeful however, that this will all be sorted soon with his help. All-in-all, I would recommend seeking out another GoWireless store since your chance of encountering the rep I dealt with is likely & I dont want any once else to take a chance on going through what I have. ~~~ Awesome experience switching to Verizon this past Sunday. The store was empty with the exception of your Asst. Store Manager, Joshua. We were able to chat and keep it relaxed while talking through what I needed/wanted in a phone & plan. Due to that, the topic of my part-time job came up which requires me to drive a lot, so he mentioned there was a promo going on for the new Hum device! Needless to say, he advertised it well & I signed up! Because the store is new the device I wanted to look at wasnt yet on display, but he had no problem pulling one out of the box & turning it on for me to play with a little bit. Hes knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient in his work & providing great customer service! At the end of everything I had a great new plan, they covered the fee I would have paid to my previous provider, gave a credit for the broken phone, set me up with an awesome Hum, & a few extra perks in there too. Im paying less than before & had a great experience through it all!!

These 5 stars are for the District Manager James and my consultant Joshua! They were very friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I was very impressed by their kindness and willingness to make me happy, and most importantly comfortable. No one likes to go to the phone store, but these two made my experience outstanding! Such a great Verizon store and experience! When I walked into the Brookfield Plaza location just needing some help with my text messages and storage issues, they fixed my text message issue and walked me through some great options for additional storage. I was so pleased with their great customer service!! Joshua was such a delight. He was patient with my silly questions, and he went WAY above and beyond, helping me retrieve lost information from the icloud and Verizon cloud, and EVEN from my computer on itunes! I highly recommend this store!

I really enjoyed the service and level of interaction with Alec. The service was timely, Alec had all the information and answers that I looked for and if I had any questions about the products and services they he was available with critical information. Not only will I be shopping again from Verizon, but I will be making sure that friends looking for similar products and services shop there as well, specifically with the person who helped me. When you find an operation that is accessible and approachable you have to support them to show the rest of the indutry the kind of service and commitment shoppers require and deserve. I would like to appreciate the level of customer service provided to be by Alec, really amazing customer service!

Awesome store with fantastic service! Joshua - you are the MAN! Joshua helped me upgrade my phone and even hooked me up with the latest promotions that allowed me to walk out of there with a new tablet which I love. The products aside, Joshua is the guy you want to talk to. Very kind, very knowledgeable and will answer all of your questions with a smile on his face. Go here and ask for Joshua! You wont be disappointed!!

The customer service here is phenomenal. Alec Moore assisted me with everything I needed and more. He is well versed, friendly, and has a keen sense of humor that made my experience the best I have ever had with Verizon. Alec is now my go to guy and I look forward to working with him again when I am ready to expand my family and my business.
