Stay away and avoid! Very poor customer service and not very bright. I brought my bike in for a minor tune up, and I even said I just need my derailleurs adjusted. I dropped it off. They called a few hours later and said my brake piston was broken and they needed to order a new part for it. My brake was working just great when I brought it in but I said ok (stuff happens) I will come pick it up. The owner of the shop said "I have to put my foot down and cant let you take it. You have to wait a week for the part to come in so we can fix it." Very rude and was swearing on the phone. I informed him that my bike was my main form of transportation and can not be without it for a week. He said "I cant let you take it with a broken break." I responded with just take the break off then and I can ride for the time being with just 1 break....after some heeing and hawing he grumpily said fine come pick it up. They ordered the part and told me they needed me to bring my bike back for a few days to fix the broken piston on the break. A few days when they have the break and the parts sitting at the shop? Thats not really my problem, I had more issues with the way I was talked to and treated. I will never go there again. Honestly I went to them small shop because I wanted a place that was customer friendly and usually you get that at the little shops. Not Friendly at all and no customer service. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.

I recently threw on a new, smaller chainring for getting around the hills in the area and simply needed my chain shortened. Other bike shops Ive called home would do something like this for free, but i wasnt at all expecting that. I understand not every shop feels like they can be that generous/awesome/reasonable--however you see it. I walked in and was acknowledged by a generally annoyed mechanic chilling on his phone. I told him what was going on and he lets me know itll be $7 assuming nothing else comes up. Cool. He proceeds to pull two links out of my chain, which was obviously not nearly enough. (My chainring was changed from 46t to 34t.) He arrogantly and impatiently informs me that hell have to "take apart the tensioner" and "realign my chain". Incredulous but totally polite (i dont want him to just break my bike in front of me), I let him know that I really just need the chain shortened and that that if he pulls out some more links Ill be fine. After all this is a completely working bike in perfect, regular running condition. Im just glad i didnt have a reason to leave the bike. Who knows what would have happened. It was weird to be see someone so obviously attempting to rip me off. I live 3 blocks from this shop, but Ill take my business across town from now on. I feel bad for all the casual cyclists getting ripped off by this shop.

The primary reason to use a local bike shop over an internet retailer is for strong customer service. They can never win on price, but its worth paying a little more for knowledgeable staff and customer friendly policies. Problem with this place is that its policies are far worse than any online retailer, and the people working there offer bad advice. I purchased something that the bike mechanic should have known would not have worked for my bike. When I discovered it was incompatible several weeks later, I went to return it. They have a ONE WEEK return policy. They will take nothing back after that even for store credit. When I pointed out to the individual working there how customer unfriendly this was, he retorted, "Im not the owner." When I suggested he relay this to the owner, he said nothing. They cheated me once by refusing to take back something they had erroneously offered as compatible. Something tells me that one sale is not worth alienating customers. I had really hoped for a good LBS in Church Hill, but I suppose Ill have to keep waiting.

Brett has been great and helped me w/ repairs to my bike many times. Just today he replaced my worn out pedals and put air in all my tires including my trailer just bc they needed it. He is super helpful and reasonable. I really appreciate him! He fitted my sons with their helmets and spent quite a while making sure they fit properly, measuring their heads and then recommended the correct size. I would have never put my 5 year old in an adult small, but it really does fit him perfectly. Thanks!

Brett did a great job in fixing up my bike and getting me back on the road at an affordable price. He was also very honest about what my bike needed when he could have easily sold me on some things that I really didnt need. I know where Ill be bringing my bike back to the next time it needs work done on it. - 2 Spokes for rear tire - New front tire - Rim strips for both wheels

Excellent, fast service for the right price. I had my bike shipped down from Vancouver and was itching for a ride. Cyclus rebuilt the bike for me in a matter of days. A few months later I sheared off my front Magura hydraulic break. Cyclus went above and beyond bringing in a new set (front and back) just to get me a replacement front. Why would you go anywhere else?

Customer services leaves much to be desired. Took forever to get my bike back. Work seems adequate. Bar wrap was shoddy and had unrequested details in the design (isnt black the default without a request?). Wont return and wont recommend unless it was a convenient location.

Trued my wheel for about half of what bigger shops charge and got it completely straight. They have lots of the desired colorful petals and tires in stock as well as cheap prices on other replacement parts. Great local shop to support.

They gave me a fantastic deal on a used bike and even fine tuned it a bit AFTER I had agreed to purchase it. They were super-friendly and sport an awesomely sweet pup behind the counter, too!

Excellent service, super fast. I dropped off my bike for a full tune-up, and wheel truing at 3:30, it was done by 5:45, and I picked it up before close at 6.
