Love this store! We purchased two unfinished shelving units from them at their old location. At our request, they talked us through the finishing steps. We paid only slightly more than we would have for MDO/particle board shelving units wed seen for sale at several other stores. I sanded/stained/oiled both units over a three-day period, and they turned out beautifully. More recently, we tracked them down at their new location. This time, we purchased two finished pieces--an elegant Howard Miller curio (on clearance) and a server that doubles as a display cabinet. Once again, we are really happy with our new furniture. If you are shopping for furniture, I highly recommend including this shop early in your search. Youll find yourself comparing furniture at other stores to the furniture at this store. Also, the sales staff is helpful and gives you time and space to make decisions. The guy who helped us load up was also friendly and gave us a call when we accidentally left our box of bungee cords and straps behind. Do yourself a favor and stop by to see their selection of furniture before you buy somewhere else.

In todays society, price of an item tends to bear more importance than quality. Good Wood offers a large selection of finished and unfinished furniture that varies in price and quality levels. Offering dining room, living room, and bed room furniture as well as mattresses at comparable rates and almost always on sale. While the price may seem high at first, when you compare similar products from other retailers, the value helps the products sell themselves. With a friendly and helpful staff, Good Wood is a must see if you are simply looking for a nice coffee table or furnishings for the entire home.

SOLID WOOD FURNITURE. You might not realize it through all of the neon advertising signs, however, they have really high quality solid wood products with affordable prices. BOTH FINISHED AND UNFINISHED pieces for sale. Most of the items I could order finished or unfinished (with of course price differences). The manager Joel was really helpful, friendly, and was very knowledgeable. They also have a good selection of Amish crafted items if youre looking for the really durable (and somewhat expensive) furniture. Highly recommend and will go back for future needs.

Im an MD just out of residency and picky about my furniture, but OHMYGOD the student loans!!! So Good Wood was a godsent. Incredibly affordable. Ive furnished almost my entire house with their products. The childrens rooms, our bedroom, the living room, all of our shelves, etc. It looks fantastic the way only really beautifully-made wood can look. My last acquisition was an exquisite mango-wood desk for my daughter. She was over the moon. My colleagues, all older and not like me in primary care, have ohhhed and awwwed. *grin* I hum to myself, and nod sagely.

Wow - this is the place to go if you want high-quality, solid wood furniture at reasonable prices. They have lots to choose from for every room in the house (we bought sets for our bedroom, kitchen and dining room!). And what is even better than the solid wood furniture and the prices is their people -- they are very helpful without being pushy. If you want high-quality furniture -- this is the place to start!

The best place to get furniture, bar none. The customer service is lovely. No pressure at all to buy, no one chases you down, youre greeted in a genuine way when you walk in and help is offered quickly if you look particularly thoughtful or confused. The quality of the furniture is notable, especially these days, but its the people that make us send our friends there.

Joel helped us figure out what was the best fit for us financially and even gave us tips on how to finish the dresser.
