After weeks of exhaustive searching I decided to give car hunting one last shot with Martin Riley Auto Outlet. Because of my pervious experiences I came in with the hope that I would find something but the skepticism that I would have bad luck once again. Well heres the good, bad, and ugly of my experience: 1. Once I pulled in I was greeting by Doug the friendliest used car sales person I have ever come in contact with. He is patient and kind and an all around nice guy. I explained my situation and he in turn explained to me how the they do business. He had me do a credit report (and believe me it was horrible) and he then had me look at a few cars. He then sent me to talk to the finance guy Brandon who was pleasant and funny. He further explained my limitations and helped me to finance a 2007 HHR. 2. Now the bad... The dealership is small so if you are looking for a huge car lot this isnt the best place to go... but if you have bad credit (like myself) and you are looking for a new start and a reliable car I think this is a place you would like to consider. 3. The ugly... well the interest rate that I have is pretty ugly but unfortunately I have myself to blame for that. Life happened and I wasnt able to keep afloat. However, thanks to Martin Riley I will have the opportunity to turn that around. Overall, I had a great experience. I felt like the guys there really wanted to help me and I appreciate that so much. I was sure that I would be walking with my children and relying on public transportation. But not only do I have a car I have a car new enough to drive for Uber and that was my ultimate goal. So it was definitely a win win for me!!

BUYER BE WARE!!!!! I found a car which fit all parameters I was looking for. The ONLY QUESTION I asked of Said Muhammad Akbar was "I see this car was titled in the state of Pennsylvania, I am concerned about the possibility of rust and corrosion." After 4 attempts, and getting the same response ....that would NOT BE A PROBLEM because you would have to go much farther in the NE states to have that be a problem, but NOT IN PA. Objection solved. So, the car was delivered in the middle of the night, no inspection possible, papers were signed, and off they went. You can imagine my shock the next day when my mechanic (trying to fix a problem) called and sent me photos of the extensive rust and corrosion on the underside of the Lexus. The Attorney Generals office and the Dealer Board in the Commonwealth are impotent to assist in such matters. Believe me, I have tried. When I called the dealership and spoke to Faid Akbar, he said "we cant be expected to look underneath the cars". I have never posted a review before because I feel there are too many opportunities for people to mouth off, and who wants to hear it anyway!? The best I can offer are photos of the extensive destruction but am not able to post them here. The pictures would speak for themselves.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to get into a vehicle - and due to credit issues, may get denied at other dealerships. I saw this place on coming back from Augusta, GA. I decided to check them out as they offered in-house financing. I dealt with Brandon (the financing manager). The guy knows his stuff about getting you into a vehicle. His personable demeanor really helped ease the experience beyond what I have previously experienced with purchasing a vehicle. The buying process did take a little more time than I was hoping for, but he seemed to practically do whatever he could to get me into a vehicle. I purchased a 2006 Chevy Cobalt (base model) through them. This vehicle was perfect for me as they worked it into my budget and the cost of repairs are inexpensive after the service contract ends. They let me take it with me on the same day. From what I see, the vehicles they have on their lot are in great shape and they appear to check them pretty thoroughly to make sure they are suitable to sell. I must stress that, from what I can tell, THEY DO NOT SELL LEMONS. I would come back to them no problem for my next vehicle.

Overall, Im happy because I left with a car when I thought it was going to be impossible to get one due to my credit and cash for a down payment. Brandon was awesome and worked with us and got us into a vehicle. Vehicle of my dreams, absolutely not. But still I can get from point a to point b and build my credit back up which is exactly what I need. Aside from Brandon though, the other two guys who worked there could not answer a single question either of us had and kind of made me feel like an idiot with their comments. I know I did throw them off guard with my urgency of needing to leave with a car and they werent prepared for me which was my own fault for not calling and giving them a heads up. Either way though, those two guys need to work on their customer service skills and brush up on some knowledge of the cars theyre selling. Like I said before though, overall happy I got a car, happy with the time and energy Brandon spent making us happy, and helpin us find the cheapest insurance and everything. If you need a car in a crunch, and you have horrible credit and hardly any money to throw down, Martin Riley is the place to go!

Hello. I have to say I really liked Martin Riley Auto Outlet. They were both very helpful, friendly, little goofy at times but professional. I was actually dreading going in to buy a new/used car because I do not like the stereotypical pushy salesman attitude. But I was so relieved to see that they were not like that at all! The salesman here are really laid back! The salesman I was working with "Brandon" was really on top of trying to get me financed for a vehicle in such a short amount of time. No matter how much money you have to work with in a down payment he is able to compromise if your willing too also. Only complaint I have is that the car I ended up purchasing wasnt really clean to my liking but at the same time they receive a lot of cars on a daily basis and the auto outlet always seems busy, so for a used car it is what it is. But overall they really made the car buying experience comfortable for me & they were ultimately the reason why I wanted to go back to Martin Riley Auto Auction to actually buy the car. Service was friendly, prompt and professional! I would highly recommend them!

I dont understand why some people had bad experiences with them before. I just bought my first car from here. I was really nervous because Im young, and was worried about getting taken advantage of and totally screwed on a deal. I didnt have any credit at all, so I was turned down literally everywhere I tried in the area. I then discovered this dealership through a friend and Im SO glad I decided to go here. I walked in, picked out the car I wanted, and after a little bit of paperwork, I was driving home in a car of my own. The overall price for the car is a little on the high side, but I dont even care because the down payment was SUPER LOW, my weekly payments are SUPER LOW, and theres the fact that I ACTUALLY HAVE A RIDE NOW. Apparently they werent doing too good in the past with some of their old management, but everyone there now is professional and friendly. ESPECIALLY BRANDON. He is probably the most easygoing, genuine person Ive ever met.. and I know if I ever need to be late on a payment, all I have to do is give him a call and he can work with me! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!
