I take my dog, Paisley, to get her haircut at least every 2 months at the groomers inside of Petco. Paisley is only a year and a couple months old, but she has been getting her haircut since she was only a couple months old here. Shes a yorkipoo and she has A LOT of energy, and I know first hand that she isnt the easiest dog to bath and have sit still for several hours straight while she gets a haircut. Theyve never complained about her, and have treated her so nicely from what Ive witnessed. I brush her regularly but she is still always extremely matted when I bring her in because shes just a spaz and her hair tangles easily. They do a great job of getting ALL her mats out, its like magic. Monica is great at cutting her hair just the way I like it to be done. Thank you guys for being so great!

Needed to pick up prescription cat food for my sick cat. I had the prescription in hand, the store was open, the product was in stock, but the large chain store could not sell me even 1 lousy can. The clerk from Bamfield (sp?)--the "in-store vet"-- was there but informed me that they were closed. In order to purchase prescription cat food, I needed some kind of special number so that they could ring up the item for a sale. Without that number, no deal--not even 1 can--even though I had a prescription from my vet. Thanks PetCo. Thanks for that large-chain store mentality.

Id only recommend this store for buying equipment. The staff here will gladly sell you a $30 castle for your aquarium. However, if you decide to buy three $0.35 gold fish, prepare to debate the rather investigative and overzealous employee they have. It really destroyed what is suppose to be a positive experience. Its also rather strange considering half the time youll see a couple floating dead fish in their tanks or witness how the sell betas in containers the size of small yogurts. I will definitely not plan for any more future aquatic pet purchases here.

Everything you could need for your pet. Prices are higher than online. The groomers are great. We have gotten our dogs nails trimmed here a number of times.
