Very rude Petco grooming manager, had the audacity to call us idiots. never coming here again. I cant believe Petco would allow people as rude as that become a manager in there establishment. Here is the story, so we were picking up our other dog Kira from the grooming salon and we were in a hurry since we were also picking my cousins from there aunts and taking my other dog Maya to get her nails trimmed. Very hectic day, so we forgot to take off her vibration collar. The manager could have easily told me that my dog Maya did not need to have the collar on and I would have apologized for my mistake of forgetting. But she had to insult us for making that mistake. Im disgusted by the lack of respect from the manager. And I do not recommend coming there.

I just went into petco in Fredericksburg VA and the new woman in aquatics in the nastiest woman that I have seen their. She answered my question with sass and a nasty attitude. And another time I got snails for my tank and she said something under her breath about teaching into the tank to get them. So if you go to this petco just remember if you are looking for fish or coral dont go if the black haired lady is doing aquatics because she doesnt want to do her job.

Dont bother taking your dog here for training. My puppy started training classes which were supposed to be once or twice a week for 45-1 hr. The trained decided because it was just my pup in the class that he only needed 15 mins per class. What a waste of money. All they did was show me things I could have read in a book and charged me! They did not work with my puppy at all! PetSmart is a few bucks cheaper on everything.

I really like the location of Petco since it is so close to our home, but I have had two ocassions where we found maggots in products. Once I bought the bulk dog treats and they were actually inside the treats. Then on a separate day, we bought baking mix to make treats and the maggots were found on the outside envelope. Grossed me out and I wont feed my dog anything from that store.

Grooming was amazing. I was able to make same day appt for a full grooming package for my cockapoo. My puppys hair grew out so much and Maggie did an AMAZING JOB... it is literally the best cut she has ever had. She looks amazing and I am totally going to continue to use her.

This rating is only for the in-house grooming. Fair price for dog nail trim at $15. Theyre all very friendly and do a great job grinding the nails down. My dog usually hates strangers and will bark non-stop but he seems to be okay with all the groomers.

Its great that they welcome all pets and Im glad they host a community of animal rescues and shelter adoption events. But. Their. Prices. They are just not competitive, especially for people who feel comfortable shopping online like on Amazon.

The employees are very knowledgeable if someone doesnt have the knowledge they will get someone who is more experience in that area stores very clean lots of sales weekly and they keep their products stocked very well

This place is not clean. There are crickets hopping around on the ground all over the place. The staff is not very helpful. The selection of products is extremely limited as well.

The grooming service here is excellent and everything is so easy to find. They also have much lower prices on fish filters then petsmart. Best place to go in my opinion.
