By G. G. Aug 31, 2010 "Roses" used to be my "one" stop/shop store. I am 68 yrs old and I have noticed over the years how they have gone from a middle class, good quality, good prices to now catering to non-white clientel in all things. I thought the "new" Roses on Airline Blvd might be different.Their clothing caters to the non-white (bold & flashy colors).The prices are not comparable(other than the $1 food bargains). I can go to Big Lots and WalMart in the vicinity and pay less for better selection & quality. What In The World has happened to "Roses" I understand that whites are now the minority but, we would like to have merchandise that suits our taste......... Maybe you should take a survey to see how many caucasians will be your customer. I for one will not be.......

Though the store doesnt match up to modern marketing and merchandising, the store serves a very important purpose. Roses is available to people especially on a budget. This store is a staple to the Churchland community. Roses has been there for our family for many years.

It only has 1 bathroom in the very front, and no water fountains. It should have water fountains, because, what if someone is very dehydrated and they dont have enough money to buy a drink, then they die. Thats on you, Roses. I will never shop here again.

Ask to use the dressing room sales clerk said the key was lost she was overheard by another sales clerk who offered her a key she refused it so I was not able to try on my garments so I left the store and did not purchase anything

The store is a mess..racks scrambled, hangers on fllors, shoes- geez! Does anyone work here? 12 people in line 1 cashier, the other doing returns, and cashiering, its a mess.. Dont ask why sales are down!!!people walking out
