My boyfriend and I went in for a simple pair of small socks (the ones that only come above your toes so you can wear them with slip on shoes). They only had the hose ones (I prefer cotton). I was wearing a tight pencil skirt and nice fitted top. Upon leaving an alarm went off. I stood by the door a few moments and then proceeded to leave. A young woman chased me out of the store and had me come back in. She had me open my tiny Kate Spade purse and not only looked through it but had the nerve to take stuff out and look on the bottom without asking. By this time several customers had stopped what they were doing to stare at us. I had to move my boyfriend, keys, purse, and body through the sensors to see what had set it off. It was me that was setting it off some how. She then proceeded to look me up and down and said "did the alarm go off when you walked in?" I told her it hadnt. I patted my shirt so she could see that I clearly had nothing and it was obvious nothing was in my pencil skirt. I thought she would ask me to take something off by the way she was staring at me. She then said, "I guess you can go." Not an apology for the accusation or intrusive rude nature she had. When I got home, I took off my cloths to find the sewed in security tag on my shirt, as they do in the nice stores.They deactivate them in the store when you buy the shirt and I never had any problems with it. Either the store sensor needs to be fixed or their customer service... I would go with the latter.

The staff is consistently rude and unhelpful. They sigh or roll their eyes should you touch any articles of clothing at a clothing store because they might have to hang it up again. Unfortunately I like the clothes and its the closest store. I have never complained about customer service until my last trip. I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable that I called the main office.

The staff stay in back.. We had to look around for 15 min just to get someone to check us out.. You could literally go in and walk out with whatever you want bc the store is like a ghost town..
