Babies R Us has been a very tacky store from my experience here. After creating a registry, I received my free goodie bag from them. Since I had read about other womens experiences with the bags, I was pretty psyched to get mine. However, it was a huge let down. Mine had obviously been picked through, as it contained mostly ads, especially for Graco products, most of which were doubled at that. There was a sample of cereal, but obviously that cant be used until baby is much older. I contacted the store and let them know. To my surprise, they got back to me very promptly and attempted to resolve the matter by having a replacement bag hand delivered to my local store that I could pick up at my convenience. Hubby and I picked it up the next business day and while it was a tad better than the last, it was no where near what other ladies were getting in theirs. So, I just left it at that but was sorely disappointed. Thats their goodie bag issue. The next issue I have with this particular location is the amount of rude and entitled soon-to-be mothers that roam the store. Highly annoying, but no surprise that they seem quite young. And some of the cashiers are extremely unfriendly. Our last trip there, the lady kept staring at me very coldly and looking at my bump. She looked like she could have played the witch in Wizard of Oz, so that made it even more alarming. All in all, I dont particularly care for this store. While they have tons of cute baby gear, their prices can also run a little high, including "sale" prices. I much prefer Target.

We were getting ready to leave for a funeral and needed a travel stroller. Incidentally we found out that the infant car seat that we had used with our previous child and now with our current one was recalled shortly after we purchased it. So we were buying a new carseat as well. I passed 3 male bbrus employees. Not one of them offered to help me carry these two large boxes. Came back in to wait at customer service for our cashier who was going to fiix our rewards card. We had to wait because another employee told her that she could not leave her register even to help a customer who had already waited in line. Waited 15 minutes to see her go to the back of the store to help another customer, so we decided to leave since we had packing to do for our early morning flight the next day. On the way one of the male workers asked if I needed any help, I told him I could have used help 15 minutes ago when he ignored me carrying out tow large boxes. He went on to tell me how they are the top store and he does 40 carry outs a day, and then offered to take the items out of my car, bring them back in the store and carry them out for me himself. I think I am done with BBRUS. After two registries of my own, and purchasing countless items for friends, the lack of customer service and attitude from staff does not make it worth my time to go there.

Items = typical of babies r us m customer service = horrendous. Go in on a morning weekday. Thats when i love to do my shopping cuz its nice and quiet. was looking for a specific item on the registry. The registry says ask an employee where it is. I do so. She tells me its on the other side of the store. In the aisle. I waddle to the other side. There are baby baths there. Not the bath Im looking for. I go back tell her thats not it. She looks right in my face and says then we dont have it. Annoyed she couldnt look it up for me. I go to the register. Re-ask another worker. She looks it up says they have it proceeds to ask the same useless woman to go get it. The useless woman loudly states there is none. Like she is annoyed she has to be asked a second time. The girl at the register tells her the computer says they do and the exact location the computer says its located. Lo and behold. The computer was right! It was exactly where the computer said it was. The lady goes and gets it. No apology that she never looked in the first place or ready too cause a scene because she was asked a second time. Or was ready to miss out on a sale for laziness. Three store wasnt even busy! And she was the manager!

Cashier making a huge deal just because I took 2 balloons (the purple balloons with the babies r us logo that they use for displaying) for my 2 kids so that they could have something to play with while I shopped (I was planning on paying for them). One of them went looking for me just to tell me I couldnt take the balloons so I told her I was gonna pay for them. Once I get to the register I asked the cashier how much for the balloons and she responded by saying they couldnt sell me the balloons. I took the balloons away from my kids so they started crying while the cashier had a face like if she was making fun of me. Isnt babies r us a kid store ? Shouldnt employees be nice with kids? I will never be going back to any Babies r us store!

This is by far THE WORST experience I have EVER had and they have made enjoying the decorating part of pregnancy HELL!!!!! I ordered my original crib/dresser set on August 29. After finding out (not because they informed me but because I called and went up to the store a total of 6 times before someone gave me correct information) in mid November that the crib/dresser did not exist because thad been discontinued and I would not be receiving my order. Not to mention EVERY single employee and manager there is CLUELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is now Dec. 10, my daughter is due Dec. 29 and I still have NO CRIB OR DRESSER!!!!!!! Do not shop here, do not order here, avoid this place at all cost!!!!!!

Came in to pick up a crib we ordered and we were just looking around while the guy went to get our stuff together. During that time we had four different people ask us if we need any help or information on the products we were looking at. Once the guy brought our stuff out him and another gentlemen helped us load everything into the car even helped us unwrap the crib so it would fit. They were bith very professional and extremley pleasant to work with. Im posting thius becauyse other posts made us stay away originally, but we will definitley be going back.

My wife works very close to Babies R Us in Chantilly so we thought it would be an easy choice. I was very disappointed with the quality of baby furniture on display. Many of the cribs and dressers were very wobbly and broken. The sales help was quick to ask if you needed help but didnt seem very well trained. Its sad when we knew more than the BRU employee. We accidently found a specialty baby store on the same block and ended up buying the majority of our stuff from them with great pleasure. I just cant see us going back anytime soon.

Love babies r us stores but this one has the worst manager ever!!!!!!!!! a very rude, clueless and disrespectful woman that have no idea what she is doing. She couldnt give me a good reason of why I wasnt able to get a refund or store credit for a baby formula purchased the day before that made my baby more gassy and colicky! Her excuse was that she doesnt know how long I had being using the formula, Really? Holding the receipt on her hands where it proves I purchased the day before... Never coming back to that horrible store.
