I cant give 0 stars or I would. Three separate employees told me three separate (conflicting) things about purchasing and shipping a glider on a baby registry. The manager (Suzette? Suzanne?) got an attitude with me and contradicted all of her employees by saying there was no way to place the order other than online at full price, and insinuated that I was trying to get something for nothing, which I was not. As the consumer, I have a right to try to get the best deal for myself, and I dont think asking about shipping prices and options is ridiculous. I called corporate to file a complaint about her and this store, and their customer service rep helped me take a percentage off and get good shipping, charged my card, and I received an email confirmation that night. What she DIDNT tell me was that if your order doesnt ship in the first 5 days, they refund the money (without notifying you) so it wont show on your bank statement, and then they wait until sometime after it ships to re-charge your card, again without notifying you. Then, if that overdrafts your acct, youre stuck. The customer service rep had informed me when she took my info that my order wouldnt ship for 2-3 weeks, so she had to know this refund would be happening to me, but never mentioned anything about it once. In fact, nowhere in the fine print in either the confirmation or shipping emails, or in the FAQs online is this stated. Then when I called customer service AGAIN today to have this overdraft situation remedied, I was informed by a new rep that this was "standard online shopping practice at almost every online retailer" and that I "shouldve known better" so there was no reason for anyone from Babies-R-Us to tell me this would be happening, and all she gave me was a reference number.

EDIT: They completely lost our changing table that we ordered somehow, and ordered another one. Who knows if well ever get it. Pros: They have a good selection and decent prices. Cons: The customer service employees are all riding shotgun on the struggle bus. We ordered our crib and dresser online and had it delivered to the store. For the crib, they never called us to let us know it had arrived, although I was assured repeatedly that Id receive a call. For both the crib and dresser, they took FOREVER to find the thing in the back. The barcode scanner for online pickups didnt appear to actually do anything. Eventually, when nobody came to the station with the box, we asked someone what the deal was and they said they had to "close it on the register". That then triggered the 30 minute search process in the back for the box. The staff also arent very knowledgeable at all about features of the various products. I could keep going, but you get the gist.

If I could give it less than one star I would. The most unprofessional customer service I have ever received. I was told by two different employees that the toys r us corporate office was wrong in what they told me. Corporate office........wrong. ok.

They have a nice nursing room! Looked everywhere and couldnt find one while taking a class in the area. Thank babies r us!

Store is older, I prefer the one in Raleigh next to Triangle Town Center.
