Foxglove did the flowers for our wedding and we were really disapppointed. My wife really loves the flowers we chose, so it meant a lot to her that the flowers be right. Although they assured us one of the flowers would be blue, it showed up purple in all the arrangements and bouquets, which didnt match other elements of the clothing and decor! But the flowers were at least fresh. Foxglove arrived towards the end of the window, dropped the flowers and hurried off. It was embarrassing to set up flowers in front of the guests, many of whom had arrived by the time Foxglove did. Foxglove was able to fit our budget very well as we planned the flowers, but when they showed us how big the bouquets would be for a certain cost, they showed a larger bouquet in person than they delivered to the event. Foxglove did, however, work well with us to come up with tall arrangements for our centerpieces.

I went in there for a bouquet of sympathy flowers that I wanted to had deliver. I have never encountered such poor customer service in my life. Personally, working in customer service for 11 years, I was blown away. Here I was giving my business to someone, and they were completely rude. I walked out of there in shock and needless to say, took my business elsewhere. It is a shame because we give them a lot of business, but will no longer.

Looking for flowers to recognize the birth of a co-workers daughter. The less than helpful clerk said the minimum was fifty dollars, with a ten dollar delivery fee to the local hospital. Me: We were thinking in the $50-$100 range... Clerk: We would prefer the $100. Me: So what would the $100 get us? Clerk: More flowers. Ha Ha Ha. Oh so funny. I am still laughing as I take our order elsewhere.

We ordered a flower arrangement for a very special occasion, and left the design up to the Foxglove staff. Picking it up the next day, we were pleasantly surprised by its beauty. The arrangement sat on the main table at the party, and many people stoped to take pictures of the arrangement. Foxglove Flowers is highly recomended!

Pros: the store is beautiful and tranquil. Rant: when I called Monday to have loose leaf lilies ready for a retirement Wednesday. Pickup to be at 9am. He charged immediately over the phone ($86). I get there and and the guy trys to find my order. He says my "order has not been made yet because the florist just got in".

We always use them for flowers for special occasions, engagement parties, bridal showers. Fantastic work! Its great having a local florist in Fairlington that that is owned by people who live in the community.
