This company has been awful to work with. When we purchased our new home, we immediately found that the refrigerator was not working properly. When speaking with the previous owner, they said they just bought the fridge from Best Appliance and theres a 5-month warranty purchased that would cover any repairs we might need. The fridge was whisked away to their company and was gone for about a week. When it was returned, it was in worse condition than before! The freezer never got to freezing temperature so not even ice cream would keep, no ice would produce. And then the fridge side would not get cold enough either. All that Best Appliance would say is, "Well, it worked in our shop when we had it." No, not a good enough answer. After much hassle, they agreed to send a repair man out to our house. He showed up 4 HOURS late. When he was finished, he said the fridge should get to temperature in the next few days and that we should open the doors as little as possible. No, still not a good enough answer. The fridge needs to work NOW, not in a few days! Well, an entire week went by and there were no improvements. The repair man was scheduled again and was a no-show, with no phone call. Then when he was rescheduled for the following day, he was over 2 HOURS late again and now claims that the fridge cant be fixed on-site and needs to go back to their shop!! I dont trust them. I dont want them thinking they can claim the fridge to be working in their shop again just so they can wipe their hands clean on this saying they did their job. This issue has been on-going for 3 weeks now. We have lost money because of food that keeps going bad in addition to the expense of having to eat out AND having to leave work to meet the repair man at my house, only to have him show up hours later or not at all. Im beyond fed up! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Heaven forbid you have an issue with the appliance.

If you dont live in Salt Lake County, do not buy from Best Home Appliance. I do not live in Salt Lake County, but wanted a Whirlpool similar to my old one. So I didnt buy a new one. I bought a Whirlpool washer from them believing it would be in working condition. We live in Summit County. First of all, my husband was not physically able to remove our old washer so we had to find someone to help us move it. Then we rented a U-Haul trailer to transport it. We brought it home and to our dismay, it was not in working condition. The high agitation cycles work; however, the low agitation cycles including delicates stops after the wash cycle and does NOT advance to the rinse cycle. I called Best Home Appliance and they said their warranty will cover it if I bring the washer back to them since Im not in Salt Lake County. WTF, when you buy something and pay $175, you would think it will work. After reading the terrible reviews about their customer service, I would rather not RISK having to go washerless and deal with this company. Forget it. Were not about to find someone to help move it again, rent a U-Haul again, drive 35 miles and 35 miles back, then drive 25 miles to return the U-Haul and another 25 mi. back, and hook it back up. THEN REPEAT THE PROCESS TO PICK IT BACK UP AFTER THEY MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT FIX IT. The timer part will cost $150 and my husband is now going to have to fix it because were not about to pay for a service call and labor. That $175 washer is now going to run $325.00. I WISH I had read the others reviews prior so I could have avoided their store. If you buy from them, buyer beware. Utah law is a state that does not have an implied warranty of merchantability. The can sell you a broken appliance.

I looked into the reviews before looking into this place and decided I needed to come prepared. I showed up with a truck ready to look at washer/dryer sets. It is a very small, family run business. They had a good enough variety of what they were selling between gas/electric dryers. They were reasonably priced and I found the set I wanted within minutes. I wanted to make this experience as fast and easy as possible so I came with a picture of my hook-ups at home and the owner knew exactly what I needed. I bought a refurbished whirlpool set after making sure the knobs moved properly and werent going to just come off and the lint trap was there. Everything was in working order. I made my purchase and they helped load them onto my truck. UNDERSTAND: There is a warranty but not where I live. This is not a problem for me because if I can bring it back to the shop they will take care of it (Im a young, spry guy in my late 20s so that works for me). They were very fair and upfront about their policy. they also sold me the hoses and clamps I need for very cheap. I set everything up immediately and so far so good. They are sturdy appliances that run perfectly. Ive had a perfect experience so far. If that changes for any reason I will update my review but I do not expect that to happen. I absolutely recommend this business.

I purchased a small fridge from Best Home Appliance for $250. The fridge was in okay working condition, however when I got it into my home, the stench was absolutely overwhelming. The drip collector on the outside (behind the refrigerator) looked to be full of meat juices and dried, dead maggots (I obviously cant be sure, but thats my best guess). It smelled like dead animals and was so dried on, it was impossible to remove. I called the appliance store about an hour after I had it home to explain the situation. I expected the opportunity to exchange for in-store credit or perhaps a discount on the appliance since there are no returns, all to no avail. They told me curtly that there are no refunds whatsoever and they acknowledged the smell and pretty much told me to just deal with it. After 2 days of scrubbing with bleach and other cleaning products (through gaggin), the stench lessened, although it is still very apparent when you walk into the home. I would say if you have the flexibility, it might be worth going another route for used appliances.

* update- we had to replace the washer and dryer. The dryer had to go 3 cycles to dry a normal load. The washer was just not spinning. Also our fridge kept leaking. Waste of money here. Dont make the mistake we did! They didnt even last a year. And the washer was broke as soon as we brought it home. We bought a fridge, washer and dryer from them. The washer is not consistent with draining and spinning the clothes, it doesnt matter how little I put in there. We first brought the washer back and they supposedly fix it. However it continued to not work. After having to speak with the store manager they agreed to come out to fix it. However, nothing was done. Now, the warranty is up and we still have a broke washer we spent 300 on. I am not happy with their customer service, not to mention we had to reschedule because they lost our paper work and appointment information so I stayed home from 8-5 one day just sitting and waiting...Not the best place to buy appliances from. I wouldnt go there again.
