Worst customer service, DO NOT ORDER FROM KITCHEN & BATHROOM DESIGN!!! I went in on April 9th (Wednesday) wanting to order a stone countertop because they were having a 10% off sale til Sunday. Took FOREVER to find an employee to help. Finally found one and got an appointment to have someone come out and measure the next day. The guy came and measured (from a contractor, does not work at Home Depot; he was great and professional). He told me someone from kitchen and design would call me the next day to order (Friday). I was never called at all from anyone. Sunday finally came around and it was the end of the promotion; so I finally called them and no one in that department was answering, I kept getting the run around from other employees too. Was told no one was in kitchen at all today by one employee and another said that the assistant manager would call me cause he can order that for me so I can get my percent off. He didnt even call me back either. I had to finally go in hours later to track someone down and there was someone in kitchen design.... Got it ordered and was told (by two different people) that it would be 2 1/2 to 3 weeks til it was installed. So, here I am now, May 5th, and I still have not received a call from anyone to set a date to have it installed. Its been more than 3 weeks. I called the store today (several times). Getting the run around again, left a message only to find out that the person I left a voicemail for is in Hawaii; tell me why they even transferred me to his voicemail. Then someone from customer service said no one was in kitchen today; WHY IS NO ONE EVER IN KITCHEN & BATHROOM DESIGN! So she said she could look it up; put me on hold, waited 10 minutes and then she hung up on me. Called again and a guy actually answered "Kitchen & Design" so I told him that I wanted to know the status of my countertop. He said that Robin could help me; so he transferred me to Robin - IN APPLIANCES! She said that she is not able to help cause she works in a different department. I have to give Robin credit cause she was honest and nice to me and told me the exact hours to call to get someone in that department and she had no idea why people are transferring me around or hanging up on me. For now on, I will NEVER order from Home Depot ever again. My loyalty is officially to LOWES!! They have never treated me like this.

I am not the kind to leave bag reviews as i am naturallyl a pretty easy going person. This is literally the worst Home Depot i have set foot in. The customer service here is a joke! Make the trip to another location. Centerville is the one closest to me, they just dont have a tile saw to make a few cuts that i need. Other than that, i love that location. 21st south salt lake location has a saw which they helped me with but the blade was shot and the rep helping me didnt know how to change it, the main guy wasnt there so i wasnt able to compete what i needed to - no big deal, they were more than helpful with what they could do. I bring the last few pieces to the layton location and start by asking the lady at Servicesb where to go to have tile cut. The response "oh i dont know... Tool rental or flooring. Id start with Tool rental." so you cant call somebody to ask before you start broiling somebody else without saying where either of those departments is located? I walk to the other end of the store to Tool rental where upon asking i just get "Flooring!" I walk back to the opposite corner of the store (by the Services desk) and try to track down anybody to even ask about the cuts. After 15 mins of seeing only the backs of reps taking off the other direction i go back to the Services desk to have somebody called to meet me. The flooring rep was nice enough but after telling him that i realize the cuts are long and i already know (because of being helped at the salt lak location) that they may not be perfectly straight, its better than anything i can do since the tile wont even fit into my tile cutter. He refuses to do the cuts and takes me to a hand tool i can putchase tho "its very hard to get straight cuts with it." No thanks! He then tells me to go to tool rental to see if they have a larger saw to do the cuts. I go back to tool rental where Im told "no but i can rent you one." No thanks! I dont need hours to make 3 simple cuts - i just need to visit the salt lake location again sometime

It takes quite a bit for me to leave a bad review. But, what happened yesterday is simply inexcusable for a place of business. I went to buy tile. Not a big deal. Employees in the FLOORING* section, even grabbed a pallet of the material I needed and took it to register 1 for me. So far, so good. They said someone in lumber would load it on my truck for me once I checked out. I got grout, thinset, and everything else I needed. Almost $600 worth of stuff for my project. Sure, that may be a drop in a bucket compared to some of their contractors, but for me, Im doing quite the project. I huff my cart to the front with some other tile and the rest of my supplies. As I check out, I tell the cashier what we were told and ask if we could start getting some help going. He makes a call, and everything seems good. He tells me to pull my truck right up to the door and theyll get me loaded. Status checks every 5 minutes or so. More promises. Vehicles blocked, have to back out around me. After 30 minutes, with no fork lift in site, and the tile still sitting on the floor, enough was enough. I went right to the service counter and returned it all. Worst experience ever. If I would have known Id wait a half an hour for that, I really would have just loaded it on a cart and done it myself. Not a big deal. Really... after returning everything for a refund, as I walked outside, a forklift was on its way to load me :) nice. 45 minutes after a call was made to load me. Completely unreasonable. However, on the bright side, went over to Lowes. They put all the tile I needed, plus the thinset all on a pallet, wrapped it in plastic, loaded it right to my truck, and no wait. Couldnt have been happer, and it was about $40 cheaper for the same style of everything. HD lost a customer forever. I wasnt really loyal to one of the big box improvement stores, but I sure am now.

This applies to the door department... I paid $40 dollars for their in home door measurement service. Never received a call once the doors where measured, made 4 trip to the store trying to place an order...was told I needed to speak to a specific guy who was never around. Finally found my measurements and they were obviously incorrect...at this point I was treated like I was the problem. My 5th trip in I brought one of the doors in so the manager of the department could see first hand the measurement issue. He measured the door, realized the measurements were off...no offer to refund my wasted $40. He called me back later to give me the pricing, approx 350.00 for a single flat panel slab door, 350.00 to factory paint and 450.00 to install...no exagerations here, just total overpricing. Recommend that you go anywhere else, as this was just an attempt to overcharge by 200%. No wonder there are so few customers in the store.
