Been here twice. Never again. I came here after being rear-ended by a car. After over a month, 2 weeks longer than their estimated completion time, they told me my bike was finally done. I went to pick it up and found out 2 things on the work order my insurance paid for werent done. Including the very obvious scratched up engine case cover which hadnt been replaced. Not only that, but after working on it they had one end of my fairing jutting out the side of my bike and wasnt in place. HOW THE HELL DO YOU NOT SEE THAT?! So I had to leave my bike even longer while they ordered and replaced the part and balanced my rear wheel and fixed their mistake. It was a bit frustrating to lose more time from the riding season that I needed to. A couple years later I decided to give this place another chance. Its close to me, employees change, and maybe they just had an off month. I laid my bike down in the rain and needed repairs. Again, they complacently neglected to order parts. They got everything except the swingarm spools and they said they were never on the work order. I made a phonecall to my insurance who claimed they ARE on the work order and sent me a copy of it, which this place had.. They were on there. I went back to this place and showed them, and they ordered them. I had to come back and get them later, but at least I could take my bike home. They cut a hole for my replacement frame slider and did a sloppy job. I had cut my fairing for them on my own before. On the side I had done, the hole was clean, even, and just big enough. The side they replaced had a quarter inch gap on one side and was pretty much touching on the bottom. Pathetic that a professional shop does such a half assed job when an inexperienced person like me can bust it out in minutes with a dremel and have it perfect. About a week after bringing my bike home I was washing it and discovered an entire underside panel was missing! What the hell?! I called them up and they still had it luckily. Apparently they FORGOT to put that huge piece of my bike back on... Complete joke. I will never come back again. Complacent, careless, and no attention to detail.

I left my Goldwing with them for over two weeks for a safety recall. Two days before my scheduled pick up date Joe called me to up sale me. He told me there was mud in my master cylinder and I should get it flushed. He said I should have them do the 12000 mile service which included the flush and an oil/filter change, air filter inspection, evaporator inspection. I bought it. When I picked up the Goldwing Ryan pointed out what he thought was a crack in the bottom center of the front fender which wasnt a crack but a string of road tar. I took the bike home. A few days later I was looking at my $300 receipt which had a notation stating "front fender left side cracked". I walked out to the garage and sure enough a HUGH crack where the rear left chrome cover attaches to the fender. I immediately looked up the picture I took of the bike last month on a ride to see if the crack was there then. NOPE no crack. I called Derik, general manager, to inform him of this unfortunate mishap while my bike was in their shop. He listened and then said he would discuss it with Joe. Derik called me back the following day stating Joe said it was there before he even started work on the Goldwing. I have a picture proving otherwise. So why didnt Joe say this to me when he called me to up sale me on the additional service work. Why didnt Joe take a picture at that time and text it to me before he started working on the Goldwing. This is a he said she said scenario I was sure to lose and I did. Derik said these cracks are common so I should be careful when I work on the tires. He thanked me for my business and hung up. No offer to help defray the cost of a new fender or the labor to fix it. I will never go back there and neither should any one else

I have worked with Honda Suzuki of Salt Lake on a handful of occasions. Both the Parts and Service departments. The service department is absolutely spectacular! They consistently have the best pricing in Salt Lake for service, and unlike most shops these guys dont surprise you with unnecessary repair expenses. In fact in my last repair (valve adjustment) experience , the service was completed on schedule, and they found the fuel needed adjusting and exhaust tightening, which they just went ahead and fixed at no additional cost, plus they even washed the bike!!!! Colby and Jeff are both personable and awesome to work with. As for the parts/sales department, this is the only reason for a -1 star. They live up to every stealership stereotype in existence. High prices, failure to inform part arrivals, very very limited parts onsite (most things must be special ordered), returns are nearly impossible. Bought a pair of gloves, wore them once to find they felt awful, tried to return with original tags attached and original receipt, but wouldnt accept the return because they had been worn. I finally had to prove to them they had manufacturing defects and complain to the manager before they reluctantly refunded me. In short, definitely get your motorcycle repaired/serviced there, but only enter that building through the backdoor and avoid the front of the building like the plague.

I used to do A LOT of business with Honda Suzuki of SLC. Over a period of three years, I purchased approximately $20,000 in parts for the bikes I was fixing up at the time. I had one bike that I just couldnt pinpoint the issue. It was a Suzuki Hayabusa. Something electrical. The parts counter guy suggested changing out the starter relay. I was pretty sure that wasnt it. But I said, "What the heck. Ive tried just about everything else. But if thats not it, can I return the $36 relay? I wouldnt have a use for it if thats not the problem." The parts counter guy said: "Sure. Youve done so much business with us that we will make an exception for the no return policy on electrical parts." Well, long story short, the relay wasnt the issue. Duh. I tried to take the parts counter guy up on the return offer: "No way, we dont accept returns on electrical items." Well hello, remember what we just talked about yesterday? Just a blank stare. I will NEVER shop there again. They lost a long-time, tons-of-repeat-business customer over a stupid $36 relay that I still keep on my shelf to this very day. Every time I see it, I remember what jerk jobs they are at Honda Suzuki of Salt Lake City. Buyers beware!!! They have no honor.

Im writing this review to warn anyone thinking of going to Moto United. I was looking at a 2017 Honda Grom and called in to ask some questions and pricing from "ROY" he told me he was busy and would get back to me through text. I then had to call multiple times to get a hold of Roy and in fact I never actually got the info until I went into Moto United days later. Roy also kept trying to sell me a DIFFERENT bike that was used and abused. I had to keep telling him over and over that I wasnt interested in that bike. After having to go in myself I still wasnt treated like a serious buyer at all. Multiple times through the loan process and getting my plates I was told they would notify me and mail me my plates, and once again... I still had to come in and do the work myself. Basically if you are thinking of coming here dont expect to be helped at all. Expect a long Painful process dragged out by the employees. Roy pawned me off on Alex. Then I got sent to Dave. Then I got sent back to Roy. And got the whole run around. Im honestly questioning how they stay in business by the lack of customer care. It didnt seem like they wanted to sell me the bike.. If you choose to go here after reading this, youve been warned.
