I would give these people zero stars if possible. At first I thought these guys were pretty cool, my credit was kind of bad but they helped me get into the car I really wanted, they worked with me on the down payment. The car had a dent in it prior to purchasing it and they agreed to pay for the repair cost of that dent before I even took it off the lot. That didnt happen though. I was on my way to their lot with the down payment money and I called them on the way and spoke to Veronica, (who by the way has a really bad attitude and has had one throughout this whole process) and we asked if she had fixed the dent or scheduled an appointment to fix it and she said she wasnt going to fix it until she knew for sure we were buying the car. While signing the contracts we agreed that Specialty Auto would pay for the repair of the dent within 30 days. I called and called and called and every time they had a new excuse for why they hadnt made any progress, like some places were completely booked, or she had an appointment set but then the guys shop got broken into so we couldnt take the car there anymore, blah blah blah.. I even found a guy that would fix the dent and gave their contact info to Veronica so she could cover the repair cost, and she still claimed to not be able to find anybody to fix it! So finally they had 2 days left to fix the dent before their 30 days was up, and the contract stated that if they didnt fix it before the 30 days was up then they would no longer have the obligation to do so. So I threatened a lawsuit and that same day they coughed up $350 and told me to do it myself. Fine with me. Now, after I completely paid off the $1500 down payment I started asking when I could get my license plate because they had only given me a temporary 45 day plate. I paid off my $1500 deposit on March 9, 2017. That same day they told me I should be getting my license plate any day now. So I waited a week and I called in to see if they had gotten it yet, and they said no. Then they said that they get the new plates in every Thursday, so after that I called in every Thursday to see if the plate had come in yet. After a few weeks they finally decided to tell me that the finance company had to get a duplicate title for some unknown reason and the processing was taking a while, and I said okay and continued to wait. Now the 45 day temporary plate had expired so they printed me another 45 day temporary plate. A couple more weeks go by and they still dont have my plate, and this time their excuse was that I had to go do emissions on the car first before the finance company could process my license plate. Okay. I went and got emissions done. So then the following Thursday I called them again, for what seemed like the thousandth time, and they said they had my plate, but I needed to pay them another $100+ because the value of my car went up somehow so the cost of my registration was more than anticipated or something, I have no idea. They said I had previously paid them $150 towards my registration but since the registration actually costed over $250 I needed to pay them more money. They claimed to have told me before that I may possibly need to pay them more money for the registration but I know for a fact they never mentioned this and I never paid $150 for "registration" before this. I paid them exactly $1500 for the down payment of the car and that was it. This made absolutely no sense to me, and it didnt make sense to my boyfriend either and hes in the transportation business and has purchased a lot of cars and he has never had this much of a problem. Specialty Auto Finders may have the potential to be a good company to work with when buying a car because they do help people with bad credit, but the employees here are no good. They lie, they make excuses, they procrastinate, and they have a bad attitude towards paying customers. Especially Veronica! I will never go there again and I wouldnt recommend it to anybody else.

These guys are awesome. They arent like most used car lots. They are very honest and straightforward and truly seek to help put you in a seat. I came here thinking I was going to be jicked around like any other used car lot but I was very impressed with their homeliness and care. Would recommend to any and everyone looking for a used car. If theres a car you want, they will find it!!
