Avoid this place like your life depended on it, it just might. The absolute worst service! I was treated rudely and extorted, and then nearly lost my R6 to something that I perceive as sabotage. You decide. I took my 2004 Yamaha R6 in for tires and a tune up. I asked to have diagnosis done on the oil level light. They said the sensor had to be replaced, but that the sensor was back ordered 45 days. I told them that I didn’t want them to change the sensor, just to finish the tune-up and I would pick up the bike and replace the sensor later. They told me that I had to pay an additional $75 to have them re-assemble the bike (which, for an oil level sensor, involves putting 2 lower fairing bolts back in place). I agreed to pay them for the oil level light diagnosis ($75) but said that I should not have to pay for any additional reassembly because, well, they didn’t do anything additional. They said the bike was ready for me to pick up, so I hopped on the next bus. When I arrived, I paid for the tires, tune-up and analysis ($800) and they brought out two bags full of parts and pushed my disassembled bike around front of the shop. I was flabbergasted! I just couldn’t believe it. They had handed me my clutch and front brake handle, surge tank joints (front intake parts) and numerous bolts in two zip lock bags because I wouldn’t pay an extra $75 for reassembling the 2 lower fairing bolts when I told them not to back order the oil level sensor! After arguing for nearly an hour, I sought out Brian, another manager from the main store (who was also quite rude) and finally convinced him to have them reassemble my bike so I could ride it out of there. He looked me straight in the eye and said, “Your bike may blow up if you ride it out of here.” It felt like a threat at this point. I was quite worried, needless to say. I assured him that the oil level sensor had been giving my false positive (flashes) for 2 months, and that my oil pump was fine and I had no concerns over riding it home. About 30 minutes later, they bring my bike around again and it seems to be assembled properly. Still very suspicious, I check the oil level, which is fine, and head home. When I get home, I notice that there was a lot of oil dripping from the lower fairings and discover that the service tech had removed the 2 bolts holding the oil light sensor in the oil pan! Brian could have said, “We took out the bolts to the oil sensor, and if you don’t put them in before you ride your bike, it may blow up.” No, he didn’t say anything except; “Your bike may blow up if you ride it out of here.” They set me up to blow my bike motor. At best, the quality of the technicians work was such that he “forgot” to put the bolts back in. I have seen so much negative feedback about Cycle Plaza, and now I know exactly why. These guys collectively are crooks, even though there was one guy that I thought genuinely wanted to help me out. Thanks Boyd. However, one nice guy in the midst of this extortion and sabotage cannot even begin to make it right. I could have lost my bike to a ceased motor, or worse. If I would have taken the bike on the highway and blown the sensor completely out of the oil pan and had 2.85 quarts of oil hit my back tire, I may have laid it down, and even died. These guys are the worst of the worst! Do not give them business! Your life depends on it.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! Ive never had such a bad experience anywhere. I needed a new front tire on my bike and Wrights Motorcycle was a day out so I went to Plaza Cycle. I called for a price and made sure that it included taking the wheel off the bike. The lady assured me that it was free whether I brought the wheel in by itself or the bike with the wheel on. I just had to pay for the tire, thats it, everything else is included. I was also told that flat repair was free for the life of the tire. It ended up being about $20 cheaper than Wrights so I went with it. After I bought the tire, they wanted to charge me $25 to take the wheel off the bike. When I complained, they said that it was only free if I brought the wheel in off the bike. It was now close to the same price as Wrights and the lady I first talked to obviously didnt know what she was talking about so I reluctantly agreed. It seemed weird that it wasnt extra when I talked to her anyway. When I showed up to get my bike, the bill had increased to $40-$45. I complained again, they had told me $25. I was then informed that it was the cost of the tube and balancing the wheel. The total cost had increased by over $40 when all was said and done. I couldnt believe it! It would have been cheaper to go to Wrights. About 200 mi later, I got a front flat on the freeway at 70 MPH and barely managed to stay up. I went in to get the flat repaired and he wanted to charge me about $40 to do it. I explained everything that had happened to me there and that I thought that the flat occurred due to improper mounting since I couldnt find any puncture. There was no apology or anything, he just assured me that nobody does flat repair for free. I left furious, I had been lied to every step of the way and there was no effort to make it right. At the very least, he could have said he was sorry for what their company had promised me and now couldnt deliver. Even if I had came up with the flat repair thing on my own or due to a miscommunication, any shop that cares about their customer would at least offer to do the job for a discount and get you in as quick as possible especially when you have been lied to about the price of things. Im not so upset with the prices, Im upset with the lying and terrible customer service. I will never go there again for anything. When I took the bike to Wrights, they said that the tire was paper thin and that they would never put it on a bike that big. They werent surprised that I got a flat. I ended up having to get a new tire.

My husband was in a motorcycle accident and we made one of the biggest mistakes of our lives....we had Plaza Cycle do the repairs. First, they had the bike for an entire month and the only reason it got done that fast was becuase I called them everyday for a week and a half. Second....when you do an estimate of a bike that is damaged on the left side....wouldnt common sense tell you to check the kickstand? Yes...thats what I though, we went to pick it up and they tell us that the bolt was snapped off of the kickstand....Does it really take 28-30 days to notice that? To top it all off, the day before the bike was supposed to be ready.....a nail mysteriously appears in the back tire.....right....and it didnt go flat or even low for 30 days.....right....stay away from Plaza Cycle. They are CROOKS AND SWINDLERS. They are absolutely horrible people and a horrible body shop....oh and ladies be prepared to be treated like second class stupid citizens because you are a woman....I grew up with grease on my hands and clothes in a body shop....Im not a dummy....i could have done a better job fixing my husbands bike than this shop did and in half the time. We were also charged for parts that they didnt replace and are still damaged from the accident (scuffed with rust which doesnt happen overnight, the mirrors were put on crooked which my husband had to fix himself, and the foot rests were put on crooked as well...awful horrible service.
