My fiance and I spend a lot of time and money in this store and never have had any problems. But after today I will drive all the way from West Valley City to Sugarhouse and we will spend our money there. I have been very sick the last 3 weeks and my fiance wanted to get me out of the house and go buy some new movies and cds. While there I started to not feel very good and gave him my movie to hold while I used the restroom. I was immediately followed into the restroom by one of the employees. Once I left the restroom my fiance and I were followed around the store by several employees including the manager. I went to the restroom again and over heard two of the ladies that had been following me come in and start talking about how I had stolen something but they couldnt figure out where I was hiding it in my tight clothing and they couldnt confront me about it because tgey didnt actually see me steal anything. I immediately told them that they were talking about me and I hadnt stolen anything. They proceeded to tell me they were not talking about me but left the restroom as soon as I came out of the stall and were hovering close to the the restroom. I yelled at them and walked out of the store and sat in my vehicle until my fiance was ready to pay for his things. We spent over $200.00 there last month but never again. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. Let alone have I ever been accused of stealing in my life. I made sure to tell the cashier at they just lost two very loyal customers.

I had a problem with a game I had bought and this isnt the first time Ive had issues. The previous times I had bought the games from the fye on 21st south and 7th east and this time I bought it from the one on redwood road. Now the last 2 issues I had at the 21st and 7th fye were with used games and when I brought them back they gave me a refund which I have to prove it. This time at the redwood road one they told me Im out of luck and that they cant do anything since I already bought it. Now Ive easily spent $5000 plus dollars at fye the past 2 years and the fact that 2 stores do things differently is absolutely mind blowing. Im trying to be taken care of and the manager did absolutely nothing to help me. She said and I quote "its not our problem, you bought the game." If I buy it used and its defective then it needs to be replaced or I need my money back. It was already used so its not like Im trying to get a full refund for something brand new. needless to say Ill never shop here again and its unfortunate because its a great place but when the managers and the employees have an obligation to make a purchase right but dont, it makes me wonder who would ever shop here.

Went there toi do a return and the "head cashier" was a complete dick! After standing. In the long holiday lines to get the refund he had mego back to the back of the line instead of continuing to help me. Horrible service if I wasnt trying to get a refund for damaged products I bought the night before I would have just left. PS they have no customer service line so you have to wait I in the purchasing line and hope that the associate is the 1 out of the 6 working that can do returns. Never had that much trouble elsewhere returning damaged items with a receipt that were purchased less than 24 hours prior.

Absolutely horrible. I noticed a charge on Friday, July 18 for "subscription" payable to an outfit called Trilegiant. I did not recognize it, so I contacted them. Turned out to be a FYE backstage pass that I "tried free" back in 2009. Amount charged since then (and I certainly should have checked before) is in excess of $500. Cancelled account. These cheap people would not even refund the most recent charge (made less than 24 hours ago). Any company that has to make its nut by these deceptive practices should be avoided, in my opinion. Too bad you cant give less than one star in these reviews . . .

Came here to trade in my watched DVDs for new-to-me ones. I could have spent 4 hours here picking them out - they have so many movies. Unfortunately the bargain sections consist of mega-copies of just a few played out choices, but beyond that limitation, the selection is pretty fantastic - I left with one guilty pleasure whose title I am purposefully omitting, but which I am really excited about since Netflix didnt even have it. FYE didnt take all my trades-ins, nor did they pay well, but their offering is so good I will definitely keep selling there.

Before I tell my tale, let me explain that I have fairly tan skin and wear my hair in a top knot quite frequently. Anyway, a few days ago, I was browsing the stores selection of DVDs with my friend Coty who works there (who was quite helpful in finding some more difficult titles), when a man named Cesar told Coty to watch out for me because apparently darker men had been stealing products. I was extremely offended. I have never been racially profiled and felt it absolutely unnecessary. His little comment ruined my experience.

I usually like this place considering the fact there are hardly any places to buy movies from when you really want them . I went in tonight wanting a specific movie and mind you I went to three different stores before coming here... I purchased the movie and it was used but when I got home the only disk in it was the one with special features only. Needless to say I was very pissed off because I love clear out in magna . I mean come on... you have to re package the movie after someone has brought it in to you to re sell.

This place always looks like it is going out of business. A lot of products are marked up if they arent used. A lot of random products as that do not fit the store. Biggest problem is customer service. I asked if they had K-pop music (a gift for a friend). The worker was condescending and rude that I asked that question and was also judgemental. Like seriously, you are going to judge me when your store sells dvds of cartoon japense girls getting fondled by octopuses...wow.

I am not a big fan of large stores with things spread out it makes it a little hard to find. Not too many sales associates to help. They offered to sign me up for a backstage pass for discounts I was told it was free and I would get 10% off. After that I was charged 2 months before I noticed it but I did get refunded. They do have a great selection of pop dolls and that is the reason I do go to the store and would give it A5 star

Store is very poorly kept, as in dirty floors and un organized merchandise, but that by itself is not why I rate this only 1 start, the 15 minute wait with the 3 employees just talking in the check stand area with it even acknowledging my girl and. To the point that I had to ask if we could check out. And none of them even seeing an issue with there actions! Very poor customer service, I will not be returning to this store !
