Seriously the worst! I waited for over 15 minutes in the checkout line with 3 people in front of me and 5 behind me. Items in the boys section were incorrectly priced. There was a huge table of shorts marked with a big red sign for $4.99. I get to checkout and they ring up for $14.99. So I have to wait even longer for the cashier to verify with someone in that department. Then I had a coupon that the Layton store gave to my grandmother on May 19. I tried to use it, and she told me it was already used, and not valid. Its brand new and doesnt expired till August 2017! So after she asked 2 different people what to do, they just said I was out of luck. If it werent for my sweet Grandma needing her brand of pants, I would have left! I will find somewhere else to shop from now on. SO frustrating!

Excellent service every time - the customer service clerks are so concerned that I receive all the discounts available. I bought some bedding one time - the clerk rang up each item so I could receive triple discounts on each item, she saved me $300!!!! I have a hard time finding shoes that dont hurt my feet and as a professional I need to have nice shoes - the department was so busy - one person helping - she handled it so professional and very timely - there were 9 customers - and we each were tended. My smart phone died, she used her own phone to pull up the coupons, also let me apply each order separate so that I could benefit - that trip I saved $70.00

The employees were rude and unwilling to help. My husband and I spent an hour in the store.. 45 minutes of this was in line. Everything we wanted to purchase needed to be price checked because all of the signs were located in the incorrect areas so nothing was priced as we thought originally . We asked for our military discount which we recieved at the Layton JCP the day prior and were told by the cashier "sorry I could lose my job for giving you that , its not Veterans Day " my family and I will never return back to this location. We didnt even end up purchasing the items. Heading to the Layton location now.

JCPenney has plenty of writing for your kids and crafts for yourself I get a little bit frustrated with the sale prices and with the credit card offering basically if you want the lowest price you need to sign up for the JCPenney credit card. I also get it its irritated that theres no cell phone service in the store very little I should say cell phone service in the store the store sometimes is sold out of the items that we are actually theyre looking for especially in the young mens department.

Its a department store... would rather be doing anything else but shopping for clothes, but my boss REQUIRES that I go to work fully clothed in professional attire. Its 2016, (at the time of the writing of this amazing review ), my boss needs to live a little! Let me come to work shirtless, so I dont have to shop and JCPenny, and subsequently write a dangerously long review on Google Maps. Does anyone even read these reviews? Only you, the reader, can answer that!

My girlfriend is a larger woman and when we asked about leggings in her size, the employee we dealt with was very rude and stated she would never put leggings in the adult or plus size clothes,and told her to wear pajama pants instead. Over all the clothing is nice, and so is the atmosphere. Im just disappointed in how they talked to my girlfriend. Customer service did not meet our standards.

Its ogden, more then known for horrible service to people of color. Basic question men section and had to go from one end of the store to the other side just to ask a basic question. NO ONE works in store just cash register. Never come here again. Rather travel to salt lake for cloths.

Because we were 20 minutes late for our (prepaid) family Christmas photo appointment at Target in Riverdale, they turned us away. So we called JCPenney in Riverdale, and they offered to get us in right away, in between appointments. Thank you JCPENNEY!! I appreciate your help.

I miss the days when JC Penney tried to give honest, flat rate prices. I hate endless coupons and fake sales. But, people want that stuff... So. Yeah. Still like the store. Hood selection of clothes and the only store that carries my preferred polo brand shirt.

I was in the store for 25 min and not one employee spoke to me, i was waiting for help in lingerie for at least 15 minutes before i decided to help myself to the fitting room. I will never go back to this JC Pennys again.

Sales people were extremely rude especially the girl Stormy checking us out. And the lady Jessie that I asked for help with finished what she was doing for another couple minutes before she could come assist a customer.

Absolutely terrible. Worst customer service Ive ever had. No one was there to help with suits. I then asked if someone could come help and no one showed up to help after over 10 minutes. Get your suit somewhere else.

Very neat and clean. They have good prices and the employees are very kind. They do have one employee back by the appliances that is a little too pushy trying to get you to sign up for their credit card.

This Sephora is AMAZING! It is always clean and the product consultants are knowledgeable and friendly every time. They have so many great make-up and skincare brands, and its a fun place to shop!

Newer freestanding Jc penny. Layout is pretty straightforward. Most of the staff are good. Occasionally get a new employee that doesnt know tons but I usually dont have questions for the staff.

Friendly, clean store. It is Christmas time and there were lots of shoppers. It was nice to see that they ramped up sales and support to make sure there were plenty of people to help.

Most things are over priced, but the quality is good and the store has a lot off variety. They also still have a portrait studio while most other places have stopped doing that.
