I asked the owner Kirk about putting a smaller cog on my bike, he told me it would probably work and quoted me a great price. When I brought in the bike two days later, Kirk wasnt there, but Hayden greeted me with a cheerful good morning and Tony asked me how he could help me. I wont go into details, but I can tell you these guys know their stuff. They really listen and take the time to explain what they are doing and why. I had a million questions about all sorts of things bike-related and Tony was very patient with me and answered every one as he worked on the bike. He let me take it down to the park to test the changes and then cleaned up the bike and chain, re-lubed it and aired up the tires. I left feeling like I should have paid them more. Got exactly what I wanted done on the bike, every question I had was answered, I met some really cool guys, and I found a local shop that really cares about their work. Thanks for being Jerks!

This place is awesome! Ive been trying to fix and upgrade a bike on my own. Ive had some success, but mostly my experience has proven to me that its probably a good idea to let the professionals take care of any major bike repairs. Anyway, I had definitely bitten off more than I could chew. I needed some special tools to finish the job. These guys solved the problem. It was a pretty quick fix, but required some expensive specialized tools that I did not have. I tried to pay them for their time, but they wouldnt have it. I will definitely be spending my money here the next time I need some work done on my bikes. They also told me about their ridiculous buy back program for kids bikes. If you buy your kids bike from them, they will give you whatever you paid, in credit, towards the next bike, when its time to upgrade or size up. Awesome service, genuinely nice guys, and great deals!

Absolutely the best folks to buy anything from. Kirk, Tony, and team are friendly, helpful, and honest. I trust their advice and ideas on everything bike related and enjoy dealing with them. Work weve had done: 1. Major cleanup of my wifes vintage city bike. It came out gleaming and riding beautifully. Kirk helped us find a cool box and a new helmet that matched the bike. 2. Tuneup and repairs on my recumbent bike. They saved and fixed most of the original equipment rather than trashing it and finding new. Ive got back several times to improve ride aspects and they did it right then and refused to charge me. 3. Fitting out a new bike with fenders, bell, and other accessories. Its a small shop and dont have a big bike selection on hand, but they can order anything and suggest nice accessories to match an existing bike.

I am very impressed with jerks shop, especially Kirk, the owner. He got my bike tuned up in 6 hours, on a short notice, on a Friday, and on a holiday weekend. AND fixed my shock even though it wasnt absolutely necessary and it was not easy for him to do. You can never expect that kind of convenience with a bike shop but he has won my business! Im located 20 mins from jerks and will still pass tons of other bike shops to go there. All because of costumer service. And their prices are unbeatable, which makes the drive that much easier! l also bought a strider bike at jerks and am excited for the progressive program they have developed. Buy a bike and when youre kid is ready for the next size up, jerks will add the original cost of the old bike to the new one (with trade in). And this continues until the child is 12!

I went in without calling ahead to see if they had my part, which could have been a waste of time. Especially since i was looking for a part for my brothers go-kart, and they didnt habe the exact same part, but it ended up working perfectly. When i walked in the man at the counter was busy with another customer, but the repair men in the back immediately called me over to see what they could help me with. I was in and out in under 10 minutes, and i thought i would pay 20 bucks, but it ended up only being 3 dollars! And to top it off, the guy at the counter (i think he was the owner actually) ended up giving me the part for free! If i could give them more than 5 stars i would!

We are new to the area and was needing a new bike shop . Tried a couple and was disappointed compared to to bike shop we have used for 18 years in Nevada. Stoped by to get a used 16" for our five year old . ( hes got two already that are just horrible) Tony the man started fixing one up for him that was a good bike but not the " the bike ". Then we found her . A belt driven easy rider ! And it looks good at the skate park to! Wont tell the price but it was a sweet deal !! They were so nice about us changing our minds last minute . So happy we have finally found our bike shop here in Utah . What a bunch of jerks ;) ! Thanks so much ! And see a soon !!

These guys are THE BEST! Were here in SLC on vacation and I needed some tires for my wheelchair. I did a quick search for "wheelchair repair" and they were first on the list. I called and talked to Kurt (?I think it was kurt) he said they had some wheelchair tires in stock! We showed up and these guys had me fixed up and on our way in like 15 minutes! Super friendly, and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend Jerks to anyone who needs anything bike related and if you ever need wheelchair tires.. this is the place to go! Places like this make me wish I was a local!

I went in to ask some questions about my current bike. One of the guys said he could do it but itll cost $60 or so. I felt that my bike isnt worth that so we started asking questions about the new ones. He advised that we wait a few minutes for the pro to come in. So we did. In less than 10 minutes the guy walks in and turns out hes the owner. We start talking about what I want and because of my size, he suggests a few bikes. I got a sweet deal on last years Raleigh Eva (we were looking for last years model). I couldnt be happier. Hes polite, relaxed and friendly.

My wife and I were on a bike ride from Clinton to Draper when my front bearings went out when we got to the Jordan/Murray trail and 48th S. We asked another biker if he knew of a bike shop and he referred us to Jerks which was fortunately close to us. Tony took it right in and put it on the rack and between other customers he soon put me back on the road. We successfully finished our trip and I am confident the bike has many more miles to go before I wear it out again. Thanks to a great shop with excellent considerate service. Jerks is a great bike shop!!!
