Im livid with the quality of service Ive received from Bikemasters. The employees were nice, friendly, and helpful. But Ive spent $250+ on my bike there, and I havent been impressed by the actual performance of my bike. Ive gotten inner tubes from them, good price, fit well, nothing wrong with them. 5/5 for the tubes, they had the tubes that Walmart didnt. I bought my bike at Walmart for $120, a cheap 700c Roadmaster bike, and it road amazing the first month or two. Then problems came. I could hardly ride the bike towards the East (slightly uphill) at roughly 8 miles per hour without breathing hard, before I would hit 12 with a little difficulty. I check my tires pressure all the time, oil up the chains, everything. So I bought the $80 tune up or sport service tune up, the cheapest option they had. I got my bike back, looked clean and new. Still horridly difficult to ride, then I noticed my back tire rubbed on the frame and the brakes. My entire wheel was dented, so I ended up buying a new wheel. Then I bought a new bike cassette (the part that holds the chain in the rear wheel). Which I was satisfied with the cassette, another 5/5 decision. But my new wheel was a quick-release valve (which the new wheel was the rear one), a rear quick-release valve and my front wheel was the regular/standard, with two nuts that hold the wheel in place. Bear with me Im not too great with bikes but Im trying to learn. As I got the wheel from the employee (great timing only took half an hour for all of it, 4/5 service timing) the young guy about my age (21 or so) returned my bike to me, and as I was walking it out, the bike would slow down every turn because the brakes were STILL rubbing. So I turned back around and asked him to fix it real quick. It took five to eight minutes at least for him to properly fix the brakes, which they didnt rub and that was good. I finally rode it after the tune up, new cassette, new wheel and everything. It rode great, was going fine and I got about five minutes of riding in when I stood up to pedal and suddenly my tire fell out of alignment and I came to a complete stop. The quick-release wheel wasnt tightened properly apparently, so when too much weight came onto it (me standing up and pedaling) it gave out and the wheel jerked to the right and hit the frame. I was about five minutes from home, no big deal, but I was fairly angry. I had to fix it myself or try to, but now the tire isnt aligned right and the brakes were rubbing again. I managed to tighten the quick release quite a bit to the point where I road for months without it falling out, the brakes rubbed still but I dealt with it, making my rides much tougher than necessary. And then two days ago the quick release gave out again, and I have no idea how to fix it. End of story: My bike is in fact a cheap Walmart bike so I expected problems, but I wasnt properly cared for at Bikemasters. Ive had at least 5-6 times where Ive been stranded 20 minutes away from home because something popped out of place on my bike, 80% of the time it was due to poor service from Bikemasters. I have to borrow another car in order to transport the bike there so its a hassle to continuously go back and forth with two different cars. I plan on going back one final time to have them PROPERLY fix the quick release issue, Ill change the two-star rating I gave them if they can fix it for free. Their customer service is great and I really dont like to be "that" customer that complains and whatnot but Ive had enough with bike issues.

Bought 3 tires from this company. Asked for price with tire sealant and they quoted $16 a tire for some Goo stuff. Asked for a cheaper tire with 2 oz of stans and a price. As they are filling the tires and placing them on the counter I get the new total which is higher than the other tires. $5 charge for stans for 2 oz is rediculous. A tire shop up the road at power and southern will do the same tires with stans for 10 bucks. Feeling obligated since the tires were filled I bought them. Might want to quote someone a price before actually adding anything to them. Customer service wasnt the best either. Wont make any future purchases with this company. Could have sold me an expensive in bike in the near future but now lost my business over inner tubes. In my opinion go somewhere else. Send me my $52.78 back and maybe youll regain my business.

In full honesty, I used to work here, and I was fired (with no warning, and in a way that would have been illegal in other states). Heartless owner, inexperienced staff. The owner used to tell me to scratch old bikes that were on sale (because they were 3+ years old) so that we could mislead the customer about why they were on sale. He would also buy used bikes and sell them as new. I used to manage this location and was fired for taking off early on a slow day when my Asst manager was also there (who opened and closed on my off days). This is the worst job, and the worst boss Ive ever had. Serioisly, there are so many great shops in the area, dont waste your money. You probably know more about your bike than the employees... seriously.

Worst bike shop Ive ever had the misfortune to go into. Run by lazy, inexperienced mechanics. Obviously, the owner is cheap. You would be better off fixing your own bike as the techs here literally have no idea what they are doing, and most of them are teenagers. Seriuously, save yourself the heartache and wasted money, and bring your bike literally anywhere else.

Needed to get a Canon bike broken down and boxed/packed for shipping on Frontier Airlines. Manager was very busy but pleasant and helpful and agreed to pack bike for $30 for day after next pickup. Worked out great and Frontier shipped bike for free as 2nd bag on classic fare. Very pleased and thankful for outstanding customer service at Bikes Direct.

The Salesman, Tom, was very helpful, knew what he was talking about, and was straight with me about a bike for my wife. I picked out a color my wife didnt particularly enjoy so Tom arranged for a better color from their other shop to be transported to his shop. Extremely grateful for their working with me.

We went here looking for some bikes a while ago, the store was clean and the guy behind the desk was semi-friendly, however the bikes were quite expensive for what we were looking for so we went elsewhere. However, this seems like a good location for higher end type bikes.

Greta bike place I had never known about! Guy who works there is very knowledgeable, and some of their bike parts are comparable in price to even Amazon. Wide selection of parts + bikes as well, probably the best bike store Ive been to!
