Although there are plenty of Bike Shops in the valley, Global Bikes on Ray Rd. is my go to shop. Ive bought two bikes from them and have always had them serviced there. The Shop has a freindly and inviting feel to it. Your never pressured and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful going out of their way to answer all your questions. John and Ryan both are a pleasure to work with, they are both knowledgeable and helpful. They are true bike guys and have helped me on numerous occasions, as Ive slowly been upgrading my road bike. I typically have a million questions but am always amazed at their wealth of bike knowledge, and willingness to dispense it. Just super dudes! Tim has started there recently and is also extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The bike maintenance department is super efficient and do awesome work. Ive upgraded my wheels and went tubeless and more recently upgraded several other bike components. Every time Garrett and Erik have provided solid recommendations and follow up with the install and fine tuning. I totally trust them with my bike and taking care of all its maintenance. Whether your having a flat fixed, or a whole component group upgrade they give the same level of service and professionalism. And Evan, the manager has gone far and above in giving good service and taking care of all my biking needs. In short, theyve become like family to me, and put up with my crazy requests, questions, and indecisiveness. They are professional in all respects, but at the same time freindly and down to earth. Some Bike Shops can make you feel intimidated and not very welcomed. Believe me when I tell you that wont happen at Global. Truly a first rate Shop that caters to "all" levels of cycling enthusiasts!!!!!

I bought a bike there back in February, and decided to upgrade (8 months later). My new search lead to to 3 other bike shops and discussions with experienced riders. Every single person and shop I spoke to told me my bike was obviously too small and explained to me how I should be riding. I was upset about being sold a bike that was the wrong size. I contacted the manager Mark F. and explained to him the situation, and asked him to fix the issue. He wrote me back saying his salesperson was right and he didnt know what I meant my "fixing my issue". There are ways to try and fix the issue by putting on an extended stem and adjusting some things. In hindsight, I should have shopped around instead of buying from the first shop I went to, but I was a novice, and was relying on the shops expertise. I woke Mark F. back and told him "Im not an expert, but I want him to help to solve the problem since I bought the bike from his shop" He wrote back he still didnt understand what I meant by "solving the problem". I just want the bike I was sold to fit me when I ride. I was never measured or watched as I test rode this bike, its obviously too small and I am not happy they are being difficult when I ask for help to make some size adjustments. Im not looking for any kind of hand-out, just some form of customer service. TLDR dont buy a bike here, they dont take the time to size you or help you if you have any issues after they are paid.

What a GREAT place for all your cycling needs. Earlier this year , my wife and I decided to upgrade our first set of carbon road bikes to Specialized bikes. All I can say is WOW !!! These bikes are leaps and bounds better than our expectations. John and Ryan were instrumental in making sure we got bikes that were the right fit for not only our level of riding, but bikes that have helped us become better and faster riders. We now participate regularly in the Meetup rides from their location and look forward to these weekend rides . How anyone can give these guys a bad review baffles me. I have become kind of a fixture in their store due to the welcoming vibe there. I have never seen any of the sales or service staff be rude to anyone and are always willing to help. They always have the parts I need, if not, they order it in a timely fashion. When the bike needs to go in for service , Garrett always takes great care with my baby ( Tarmac Expert) and gets the work done, usually ahead of schedule. I have been to the other Global locations and ridden on their Meetups, but the Ray Rd. store for me is "home base".

Global Bikes is hands down the best bike shop in the valley. The sales staff couldnt be easier to work with and have an amazing amount of patience and knowledge for both complete beginners to experienced trail riders. I originally went to the shop a while back with an older bike and was completely clueless about all the new biking tech that had taken over in the past years. I left completely informed and ready to buy a bike. Love the Stumpy!!! The Global Bikes repair staff is also an awesome key part to the shop. I used to dread going to other bike shops in the valley for repairs as they usually take it for weeks. Weeks without riding...no way! Mark and others at Global have gone far and above to make sure I have met every trail date I have ever had. Thank you Global for keeping my bike running smooth!!! Since buying my bike a Global I am certain that I would never buy a bike at another shop. Free lifetime adjustments are the best!!! I rarely if ever leave reviews but Global has been such an awesome help keeping me on the trail that I felt it was time write a review. Thanks Global Bikes Team!!!

Its been forty years since I rode a bike (once I got my drivers license) and as the saying goes "once you ride a bike you never forget" but boy have they changed. I guess they dont make 10 speeds anymore. I was looking for a Hybrid and ended up with 29r. Who knew? I spoke to Mark on the phone a month previously about a 2013 advertised bike and was more confused when I went to the store. I test rode three totally different bikes. I found the perfect bike but it had to be ordered for my size. I cant wait to get on it this weekend. I feel like a little kid. Mark wasnt there when I purchased the bike (actually bought 2 bikes) but there is NO PRESSURE in any of their stores. I did pop into 2 other Global Shops and they are all very very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find what I was looking for. Their prices are a little better then some of the other bike shops so if you are looking for a great bike with a great price... Check them out

I usually go to the Gilbert location, but in search for my wifes perfect bike I was sent to the Chandler North Store, they had the Rumor in stock. With John’s help I decided to with the Camber over the Rumor for my wife. After patiently waiting for the bike to arrive I get the call “your bike is ready”. When I showed up to pick up my wife birthday present there was a slight issue I began to think OH NO! I made a mistake and should have gone to the Gilbert store, but Eric save the day, Mark made it right!!! but most importantly my wife loves her new bike. Needless to say customer satisfaction is KEY at all Global Bikes locations and that reminded me of a quote we live by at my job “The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten” - Benjamin Franklin. That said Thank you Global Bike and by the way Thank you Al I love my Carbon Camber.
