I have never written a review before but I will for this bike shop. While the shop might not run as smoothly as it could, every staff member that worked with us genuinely tried to help us get what we were looking for. But by far I just received great customer service. I am headed on a trip tomorrow and was hoping to take the bike with me. Only problem is my bike got into the shop today, in pieces. The normal build time after delivery is a day. I called to see if there was anyway possible for them to put it together. Will, (didnt catch his last name), went checked saw that bike was there and while he could have very easily just said, "Im sorry it will be ready late tomorrow," after I would have already left. From the tone in his voice it was not going to be something easy, but he agreed to do it. Want to say thank you Will, Great job. UPDATE 7/22/2018 Ok so it got even better. Turns out my wifes bike was also in. You can imagine that of course i want her bike built as well. Brand new bikes going on a trip and she is going to have to use the junker while i have mine. When asked, Will simple said, "Got to have your bikes for a trip." He stayed late just to finish building another bike. Thank you Will! Great service!

This is the WORST performance store. Terrible experience every time I have gone in there. I had a broken trainer; despite the "Lifetime Warranty", the sales man said too bad, it looks like you got your use out of it...Just buy another one. After talking to performance customer service, they forced the store to replace it. I was given a very poor replacement, and was charged $60 more. I got home to find out that the new trainer cost less than half of the one I bought, so I was only given a partial credit. Add this to paying another $60, and dealing with performance customer service, then forcing this store to care for me...no thanks. I have been shopping with these guys for 20 years (Back to the time before internet, when they mailed you catalogs), and apparently, customer service is something that this UTAH STORE has no idea about. I will take my money elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing customer service with amazing prices!!! I purchased a Breezer Squall and broke the frame twice. The first time, they replaced the frame and let me use a demo bike during the repair that I broke while riding in St. George and took it back no problem . I broke the frame again after using the bike extremely hard for an entire year. I turned it in with bald tires, a leaky shock, and brakes with pads nearly completely rubbed off and they gave a full refund that I used to purchase a higher quality bike. I could not have asked performance to handle the situation with better service . Performance has a great rewards program, and outstanding prices. The entire staff is always friendly and never pushy. First of all, your business listing is spelled wrong on google. Looks really professional. I went to this shop because its the only one open on Sunday in ol Mormontown. I wont be going back. They concentrate hard on pushing $$$ elite equipment on weekend cyclists. I went in looking for plain jane cables and housings and, when I realized I couldnt leave with a bill for those small incidentals of less than $50, I walked right back out. They also gave me attitude about needing the best new coated cables or my performance will suffer, etc, etc. No. I asked for plain ones that I will then oil. The effect will be the same and I will save $40. Screw these guys.

Worse experience ever. Went to get my rocky mountain fixed cause the rear derailed wasnt working properly and they said it would be ready by 5pm. I showed up at 5pm and it was half done and my brake lever was not tightened. Well I rode away and my rear derailed fully tightened up, locked up and snapped the derailer off. Screw this place and their mechanic cause they were very uneducated in what they were doing. I recommend bountiful bicycle cause they have a quick turn around and go above and beyond to make sure your bike is in tip top shape

Big space with lots of room. Limited bike selection...but good pricing. I went in for a pump, some lights, and perhaps gloves. I was pretty much done (20 min) before anyone took any notice of me. Guy at checkout was ok, if dismissive. He asked for my email as part of my transaction (I really like email receipts) and Ive been receiving promotional emails every other day since. No mention of that was made, and I find the whole thing intrusive. I will not be returning. I prefer to give my hard earned cash to smaller, more local operations.

I first went in just to get a locking nut for the single piece crank on the old Huffy that Im fixing up. Frank was so knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions so well (without sounding like a salesman: sincere) that I went back the next day and bought a bike. When I did my dad started looking and a week later both he and my mom bought their own bikes as well. The prices are great, Frank is excellent, and all the other staff are so helpful that I cant help but recommend Performance Bicycle to everyone.

Ok so starting up cycling can be overwhelming but when I went here they were amazing. They came out and helped me carry my bike. They always offered multiple opinions on different items and when I asked if I could see how they changed the tubes on my tires so I wont get stranded they took me back and showed me how I can fix my bike myself. I just really appreciated the extra effort they went to to help. Each person I talked to for help knew their stuff and were super polite and helpful. Thank you!

After owning a light for over a year, I dropped my ride and broke the mount on the light itself , which made it useless sans a little duct tape. When I called to see if I could get it sent out for repair, Kyle told me to bring it on in for a new one. Blew me away. I had used it 30 minutes a day for a year and no questions heres a new replacement. I am a pain in the ass who cannot make a decision on purchases over $100, but these guys are always patient and helpful.

I am new to the road bike tire scene. Presta valves are not schraeder valves I have learned. PB staff was very helpful in helping me to get the correct inner tube to fit my road bike tire,even helping to diagnosis the issue as to what the problem was and allowed me to leave feeling that this issue was resolved.Which after 4 days tire problem is solved. Prices are good , staff knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I will be going back for more swag shortly !!

When I walked in, all I needed was for my brakes to be repaired. The salesman told me that it wasnt worth getting fixed and that it was a waste of time. He said, "Not worth it just buy a new one." Its ridiculous because other bike shops I went to offered to help. Poor customer service. Ill never shop here again it literally SUCKS! And they have attitude. Theres CHEAPER & BETTER shops out there... TRUST ME.
